He suggested I check out the Center which I knew as the old YMCA in downtown Waco. I went to check it out and the hook was set. That was just over five years ago. I have done the Aqua aerobics and then found that I loved the Silver Sneakers program offered three times a week in the morning and in the afternoon. I soon became one of the regulars that attends not only for the health benefits but because I love the people and our Silver Sneakers Cardio aerobics instructor. The staff at the Center are wholesome and caring compassionate people. Especially Rebecca, the interim facility Director. She goes above and beyond to assist and help you out with concerns seeing you are well taken care of when you take in the pool, weight room or holding an activity. There are so many activities anyone can be a part of and I can't say enough about how I feel a part of wanting to be a part of the various health programs anyone can do. I even like the Tai Chi which helps me in my breathing and stability. I haven't tried the YOGA yet, but might one day. If your into Pickle Ball or Hand Ball, they have two courts for that. They offer memberships of every kind and the "Price Is Right" being covered by insurance and there are some membership levels. There is so much more to the Center, but I have to close saying I love the in door walking track and second floor workout area. They offer it all without breaking the bank... You gotta try it!

Decent amount of activities to do like several playgrounds for the kids and full basketball court and volleyball and horseshoes. McDonald's and the grocery store Brookshire's nearby. Just a decent community park that is on the smaller side in the city of Robinson. I like it. It also has a Rotary Club bench and a lending book library of sorts. The lending library is near the pavilion.

Park with activities for everyone…read more Ample parking. There's a trail that encompasses the park with fitness stations throughout. Picnic areas dispersed as well if you're having a get together. Very tempting playground. In fact, I even tested it out - small climbing wall and twirly slide passed my inspection. A child on a bike arrived shortly after. I promptly left as if I didn't just go "weeeee" on the slide. There's also a nice splash pad and skating area which I thought were cool. In one area, there's a pond with some ducks. Then there's a soccer field close to the cemetery. Oh yeah, there's also a cemetery which I think is a bit weird in terms of city planning. But hey, I guess that doesn't stop people from coming and enjoying a nice park.
