Decent amount of activities to do like several playgrounds for the kids and full basketball court and volleyball and horseshoes. McDonald's and the grocery store Brookshire's nearby. Just a decent community park that is on the smaller side in the city of Robinson. I like it. It also has a Rotary Club bench and a lending book library of sorts. The lending library is near the pavilion.

There are good restroom facilities in this park a big covered area and fair amount of benches and…read moreplayground equipment but the park itself is rather small. It is located right off highway 84 at Poage road. The trail is made of cinder and about .33 of a mile. There is a slight incline and decline. In comparison to the hewitt park nearby I like that boy have a circle track and you have an idea of how far the circle track is. However recovering from surgery I like the hewitt park a little better as the concrete trail helps my legs remain steady as I recover from surgery. I cannot afford a fall. One thing originally I liked better about poage park was that the circle was half the distance and there were many benches to sit on till I got my endurance up. This park also has a small gazebo. I like this park an am happy w the restroom facilities I just wish things were a bit more spread out but the park is a bit too small for that. It I a great park for me though as I continue to recover from surgery.

There is a place where kids can play in the water that is open for a decent chunk of the summer. Not sure how long the water part is on a year but a nice way for the kiddos to cool off in the summer heat. Next to a school in a subdivision it has few trees but gets plenty of use. Limited parking available so make plans for that. Decent for what it is which is a small free park.

There is a gazebo see my pic and a good sized bbq pit. There is also a spring a short walking trail as well as the rest of Cameron park which is close by. I liked that it was peaceful. It is a bit off and out of the way from the rest of the park. So it wasn't that crowded on a Friday summer night as perhaps other parts of the Cameron system might be on that day. There are some insane frisbee golf holes in the park again can see pics. There were some children playing in the water of the spring. There were at least four cement benches that were comfy. I used one while waiting for my wife as I really couldn't get up some of those very steep hills. It was a great pocket park and a nice place for a picnic. There are a few out of the way plCes to go there for a more private picnic. Great little place.

It is separate from the neighboring "Speegleville Park" that has RV campsites. The park is on the west site of Lake Waco and is easily accessible with an unmanned guard station. There are "pay stations" throughout the park where you're expected to pay $5 per vehicle. The park is "day use only" and does not allow overnight parking or camping. There is a boat ramp. More than 50 covered picnic sites, most with charcoal BBQ grills, are in the park. These are available first-come, first-served and I had no problem with the one we would use today at 8:00am. I spotted a playground in one area. There are also restroom facilities throughout which are helpful though primitive. The park is clean from trash and in good condition. Giving an initial "slightly above average" rating of four stars as I have only walked a portion of…read morethe trail. The part I was on has no shade and I didn't see any benches available. The trail was concrete so ideal for strollers etc. According to a "rails to trail" site this was part of a rail system to St. Louis that was repurposed. There was an intricate bridge/walkway on the part I walked that overlooks the Bosque river. I walked around 1-2 or so. I don't recommend walking then as shade on the portion I was on was only provided by trees. I believe you can be there after dark as the bridge part has lights powered by solar panels on the bridge itself. The rest of the trail isn't lighted. It is pet friendly but no waste bags provided and a sign was there stating that you needed to clean up after your pet or possibly be fined 500 dollars so please be prepared. The logo I took a pic of is on the bridge itself. There is another trail of the same name in Irving Texas about 2 hours from here. It appears to be a local repurposed trail. I didn't reach the end of the segment I was on due to the heat of the day for me and my dog but it ends at the dump. The parking on the corner of Lorena road and church road in Mc Gregor Texas is in the middle of the trail. The trail is about 5 miles total length and a popular trail in the community. Will try to get more pics next time and a better star rating next time.

HIked here hundreds of times, totaling well over 1000 miles in all kinds of weather. This place is…read morefantastic, you can get lost if you are not careful as there are many miles of unmarked ,unmapped trails and lots of deer trails and creekbeds to hike. So either be careful or go crazy as long as you have enough time and water. Entrances on both ends of park. LOts of litter so don't make it worse please.
