We dropped off the tires and rims, and the following day, they confirmed everything was ready for pickup. We paid $120 and asked if everything was properly installed--they assured us it was. After bringing the tires and rims home and installing them on our truck, we noticed within a couple of days that both front tires had deflated to 10 psi and both rear tires to 20 psi. We inflated all four to 35 psi and sprayed soap around the tire edges to check for leaks. One tire bubbled around the rim, and the other three showed leaks around the valve stems. We contacted one of the shop owner's family members, who told us the shop should fix the issue since it should've been caught before releasing the tires. My son called the shop and asked when we could bring the truck in for repair. They said they would charge $100 to remove the tires from the truck, citing their weight. However, they offered to fix the issue for free if we brought in just the tires. Shortly after that, they told my son it would be $100 to replace the valve stems. That's unreasonable--valve stems cost under $10 total. We already paid $120 for the installation, and most reputable shops check for leaks and include valve stem replacement as part of the tire mounting service. This experience was extremely disappointing. I plan to contact the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and other consumer protection services to file a formal complaint. This behavior feels fraudulent and deceptive. Consumers should be very cautious when dealing with this shop.

It's like right in what I would call "old towne" Laytonsville (though I'm not really certain that's a thing). But yes, gas prices are really good here, and the pumps are always all working. The card chip reader is working as well. The gas station is clean. There's a couple of entrances and exits. What more can you want in a gas station really? Cheap, convenient, clean, and it's never usually too too busy.

Having been a service manager myself for 2 independent shops and a dealer, I understand what might be justifications to decline a service. None of my visits were out of the ordinary. I understand time is money, but turning away customers is just not right. The most recent visit, was to have a TPMS sensor swapped from one wheel to another (brand new wheel and sensor). I had visited the ship the previous day, and was told it could be done. I even made the effort to take the wheels off the car, so not to take up a lift. Not to mention I scheduled time out of my day , only to be T old work won't be done bc rubber seals on the stem can get damaged. I did inform that the sensor is new, but no luck. TPMS sensors can be removed and reinstalled with no problem, especially when new. I'm just guessing the job wasn't worth their time. But wasting my time was apparently ok. I made an appointment online for a multi-point inspection of a used car I recently purchased. They had a coupon I redeemed online. Reason for visit: -Multi-point inspection -Diagnostic of electrical failure for driver seat (potential warranty claim) -Failed tire plug on rear-passenger tire (potential warranty claim) Phone call before appointment: Andy called me about an hour and a half before my appointment time to confirm the reason for my visit. I explained to him I had redeemed a complimentary inspection for my vehicle online and wanted it looked over. There was some conflict with the process of getting my seat looked at but I'm going to follow up with the warranty company about their process. Parking: There were plenty of parking spaces to choose from when I arrived. I didn't have to walk far to get to the shop's entrance/front desk. Facility: Enough seating for about 6 people inside. There's more seating outside, if the weather permits. They have a TV and refreshments for guests. There weren't any strong, unpleasant smells other than residual tire smells you tend to smell at an auto shop. Sometimes the chemical smells at shops can be overwhelming but I didn't have that experience here. Check-in/waiting: Upon arrival, there was only one other guest in the waiting room. There was enough seating for me and a family member to sit and wait. I approached the front desk and saw Andy. We had further discussion about the warranty process and I decided to just get the inspection and tire looked at. I didn't have to wait long for the inspection. They provided me with a detailed report that included pictures. They then looked over my tire and said they could re-patch the hole that a previous mechanic botched before I purchased the vehicle. I was grateful they were honest because the dealership suggested replacing the tire completely. I agreed to the tire being patched and they got right to work. It was quick patchwork. Since I was crunched for time, I couldn't get the suggested routine service done--but I do plan on scheduling to have it done here since they were honest about what my car required and didn't try to upsell me unnecessary work. Overall, my experience was good, so far. I'll provide updates for future service I receive on my vehicle.
