Please listen to those who say to STAY AWAY! We bought a $6K SUV from them in April and all we've done is spend money to have it repaired. And yesterday, the motor broke and we now have a dead car. Close to $9K in the trash. We called and of course they said there was nothing they could do. We are going to contact the Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services to see if there's anything they can do, aside from that, all we can do is warn others. Purchased a 2001 Pathfinder from here, obviously being a 21 year old vehicle I expected an issue or 2. When I test drove the vehicle it needed to be jumped due to sitting on the lot and Zac said "an open lot" so people walk on the lot and turn lights on and such and it's been sitting so understandable. The car drove great when I test drove it and I purchased it. When I went to drive it off the lot it needed to be jumped again and I asked if it could be the alternator in which he said no or it wouldn't click like it did and that it just needs to run to charge the battery up. So I left w the vehicle and drove it for about an hour to dinner after dinner the car wouldn't start again so I called AAA and they tested it and not only did the battery have a dead cell the alternator was no good as well. I drove the car back to the dealership which was closed at the time and left it as well as text messaged Zac. In the morning even before the dealership opened he called and asked why the car was there and I told him and he said I needed to pick up the vehicle and refused to help because he sold it as is even though he lied and said it wasn't the alternator. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS LOT. My son traveled 120 + miles round trip to purchase a used car from Swerve. After test driving for 15 minutes and doing his best to inspect the vehicle, he purchased it. He left the lot, then headed for his journey home, with excitement on his $5400 + tax, tag - purchase. **BUYER BEWARE** At exactly 5.7 miles, less than 10 minutes after leaving the lot, the car stopped running while on the highway. A ranger had to push the vehicle off the bridge to a safe area on SR 417, then my son had to get the vehicle towed to his home zip code because SWERVE AUTO said "THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO, IT WAS DRIVING FINE WHEN YOU DROVE IT OFF THE LOT." They do not care about their customers and offered nothing, other than that verbal response. We understand it was a cash purchase, AS IS, but this has caused a tremendous hardship to my son. All of this is verifiable as he now waits for our repair facility to inspect the vehicle and determine what caused the car to stop less than 6 miles away. read more

We drove almost two hours to look at an Odyssey there. We were referred by our Bank. It was the best priced and cleanest we could find. They had the Carfax readily available as well. The lot was clean and we noticed potential buyers coming and going, as well as a purchase taking place. All good clues. They are a no pressure lot and made us feel comfortable. Great place to buy a well priced used car. Got a 2004 Toyota 4 runner. Put 30,000+ miles on it in 6 months with nothing but oil changes. It was the best priced, lowest mileage, best looking car I found in the central Florida area. They don't charge a dealer fee, very upfront with the price, what is on the sticker is what you pay. They let you test drive the cars and take them to a mechanic to have it inspected. The people who work there are not your typical pushy car sales person. Would highly recommend getting a vehicle here. read more

BUYER BEWARE!! I recently purchased a 2005 Lexus GS 430 from out of state. I asked Zach to be honest with me about the vehicle's condition. So, after the repeated assurances of Zach that the "Lexus was a great car", I bought the Lexus. I purchased the GS 430 after I asked Zach numerous times if there were any engine check lights on, and his replies each time were "no engine lights on the vehicle". This was the first lie. After purchasing the vehicle, numerous engine check lights and "VSC" lights appeared while driving the car for the first time. I also asked Zach about the keys to the car, and Zach sent a picture to me of a perfect looking Lexus key. Upon delivery of the vehicle, I received a broken Lexus key completely covered in duct tape. The key is $300 to replace. This was the second lie. I am now taking the Lexus to my local dealership to fix all of these issues that Zach lied to me about this car. They were very good to us. When I explained that I was on a budget and needed something reliable for my son to get to college, the salesman steered me away from the more expensive SUV he liked into a very reasonable Buick with low mileage ( for the price). We had been to 8 other places and it was the best cosmetic and mileage under $2500 by a landslide. A month later I went back and got another car for my nephew for only $2000. Almost a year later and both cars are doing well without any repairs except regular oil changes. read more

Bought a 2001 Honda Odyssey from here about 2 and a half months ago. They priced it as 4000 on jelly blue book (which was an OLD estimated price for a WORKING van) We test drove it and all seemed fine however, we could not go that far as the car did not have much gas at all. So we only drove about a mile and then went back and decided to buy the van since we needed a car badly. the very next day the car started slipping when going into the next gear up, we took it to auto zone and it had a number of issues that were covered up and rigged. (Adding up to an estimated price of 3.5k to repair fully) We spent just over 3,000 dollars on this car and after a month we could not get the car to excel over 25 MPH without driving the RPMs up insanely high. With that being said do not go here, if you do bring your own mechanic and insist on the car getting more fuel before test driving it. I'd stay safe and just not go here at all though. We ended up trading in the van today for only 500 dollars. Which was one of the highest trade in values we were offered. read more

This place sold my friend an overpriced car ($8,500 for a 2008 Lexus). The AC didn't work when he bought it, and they said "no problem." They did something to it, and it worked 2 days before it stopped working within the week. They refuse to fix it and say it's not their problem. This is unethical. He is here for a short time from another country and needed transportation. He also needs AC as it's summertime. This company does not take care of its customers. He got an estimate somewhere else to fix it, and they told him $1,000+. SWERVE AWAY FROM Swerve Auto! I have called them on his behalf and the person HUNG UP ON ME! They do not back up their cars. I bought a car there which seemed Ok at first but now within a thousand miles use the air conditioning compressor and transmission failed and I'm just waiting for the next failure the engine to go next. Apparently it was a vehicle that they got at the auction which was cosmetically very nice but mechanically a rolling time bomb, so if you are looking for something there be suspicious, very suspicious, especially if it seems like a "good deal". They seem to be very good at what they do but just not for you, the buyer. Take it to be checked out by a mechanic. I sure wish I did. My mistake. read more
