I have been nothing short of amazed by the service I have received from Sweetwater Pools. The President, Jim, is super responsive to customer concerns and I knew I was in great hands in giving them the project to completely re-do the pool that existed on our property when we began construction. The entire team was great and Jim even came onto the property multiple times to see how everything was going. Because of that, I decided to keep Sweetwater for my weekly maintenance of the pool. SO HAPPY THAT I did. If you are reading this you have to request JAVIER. Javier is upper level management for the company and will assign your pool maintenance person for your home. The cleaner we have, Jose, does a spectacular job for us. He is attentive and even sends us a detailed report with a photograph of what he did and how the pool is doing. After a very expensive pool remodel with new plaster, tiles, lights, decking, pumps, etc., not impressed with the durability of their work. The lights only worked for about a year and stopped working just outside the warranty period. I paid full price with the same result shortly thereafter. Tiles around the spa started falling off and required replacing after 8 years. The plaster when new met our expectations. We have always had our pool professionally maintained. After 12 years the plaster is now flaking off of the spa steps and starting to fall off the side of the spa. The solution is to re-plaster the entire pool again if we want it to match. Will not use Sweetwater Pools again. read more

My son took the lifeguarding class with Sweetwater, intending to work for his local community pool (not managed by Sweetwater) during the summer. It has been almost a month, and we still have not received his certification, despite repeated calls, and having received a mixture of excuses, blaming Red Cross, and attributing the problem to staff turnover at Sweetwater. This was supposed to be an opportunity for my son to get a summer job, and the summer is almost over. Money down the drain. I asked for a refund. We'll see how they respond, but I expect more of the same: deflecting blame and more excuses. read more

UPDATE: Sweetwater Pools contacted me immediately after my review on Yelp and finally gave 100% attention and response to my concerns. They are definitely all ears now and are doing everything to correct the mistakes and dropped balls that have happened. They have issued complimentary service to me for the weeks of poor service I experienced. It is unfortunate that the service started so poorly but I am grateful for their attempts to fix the problems and start anew. They are now responding as you would imagine a good business should. read more

Dan the manager actually came to my house to try to make things right. Together we worked out what months my service was done appropriately, but also which months it was likely not. He was responsive and refunded me the months where my pool was probably not cleaned due to miscommunication about the net. He is a stand up guy. The company needs more employees like him. read more

I cannot say enough about how bad this service is. They would spend thirty seconds or less thinking no one was watching and then leave. We had a slow leak in our hot tub and they came out four times to fix it and never fixed it. There are so many other choices out there, don't waste your time on this worthless business. read more
