Durian soufflé pancake with a side of durian and maple syrup.
    Sarah C.

Small place on the 2nd floor of a busy strip mall with a small selection of specialty desserts with different fruits. Durian, mango, grass jelly and other delicious and uniquely Asian treats. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was some covered outdoor seating for cooler days, but the inside is cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The soufflé pancakes are huge and beautiful and definitely shareable. I also had a yummy watermelon ice which was sweet and refreshing and served in a reusable cup. The service was a bit slow but there was only one person and it was quite busy so no worries. If you have the urge to try the viral soufflé pancake, this is your place.

All of the Sweethoney desserts near me have closed down so I was super excited to see that they have a location in Vegas! This is on the second floor of the plaza. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It smelled strongly of durian when I came in, but I grew up eating durian so I didn't mind![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was only one other table of customers when I arrived.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My partner wasn't feeling like dessert so I got a sesame soup with tofu pudding for myself. He had a few bites and thought it was good. I love sesame soup and tofu pudding so this was great. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'll probably stop by again.

You got me at Durian pancake souffle...found this place as we were trying to pass time and treat mom for a quick tooth fix, I love anything everything that has durian in it. The real Asian in me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]located on the second floor in a strip mall on Spring Mountain Road. You can get full service sitting down or order at the kiosk.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was a nice and light fair Wish the serving plates are not plastic and weird but overall it was good.

I love this place... everything on the menu is good. I recommend all of it. From the drink to the ice cream desserts to the eggletts. Definitely my go to place for dessert. Super nice staff and very friendly.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]this place is spacious with plenty of seating and kiosk ordering.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I suggest ordering variety and sharing them as they all taste good , you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They have surprisingly good service for a asian place, those that know you know what I mean when I say this. They even come around giving you cups of water! Tell me that's not good service! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It;s upstairs from the hustle bustle of the very busy very crowded shopping center so it's actually nice ambience to get away a little.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

SweetHoney Dessert is an absolute gem on the second floor of Shanghai Plaza. Whenever my fiancée and I are craving something sweet, this is our first stop. The soufflé pancakes are next-level-so light and fluffy, and they pair perfectly with the fresh strawberries and whipped cream. If you need to beat the Vegas heat, the Mango Pomelo Sago is incredibly refreshing with generous chunks of fresh mango. The service is fast and friendly, and while they have a great patio space, their items are also perfect to grab to-go if you're heading to the casinos. Highly recommend!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We went to Sweet Honey on Friday night and were lucky to get a seat because it was packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress was really nice, took our order quickly, and our desserts came out fast too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is nicely decorated and there's a good amount of seats available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the Mango Pancake and the Thai Black Glutinous Rice & Mango in Vanilla Frost. I loved everything I ordered, and even enjoyed my husband's dessert. Nothing was overly sweet or bland, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely be back. Their desserts are so good.

I love this dessert spot! I'm never disappointed when I visit. Even though we arrived full after dinner, I still made room for the mango pancakes and red bean green tea ice cream. Both were delicious. I usually stick to the souffle pancakes or mango sago, but I'm glad I tried something new this time. The service is also great; friendly service and efficient even when this spot gets really busy.

This is a 2nd-story dessert place in Shanghai Plaza. Parking can be difficult here on holidays, evenings, and weekends, but this is not the business's fault. The menu for desserts is expansive (I took a lot of attached pics) and there's a page for warm/hot bites as well. Service is minimal because they'll take your order, bring your food and desserts, and then leave you alone. Nothing wrong with that though. My girlfriend and I ordered two items and had no complaints. Worth a stop if you're in the area and have a sweet tooth.

I've seen this place so many times but never tried it until my current durian obsession led me here... and I'm glad it did! I love how they even have a whole durian section on the menu. I got the durian mochi, durian tea drink, and the durian soufflé. The durian tea actually isn't listed on the durian page though it's all the way in the back with the drinks menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was really nice ..calm, clean, and not too busy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our order came out pretty fast too. The soufflé does have a note saying there's a a little wait, but I think our order came out in around 15 minutes. Customer service was great they greeted and seated us pretty quickly. I'd definitely come back here for sure. This might be my new dessert spot... hopefully they never run out of durian .lol

Still one of our favorite after dinner or dessert places in Chinatown. They continue expand on their menu and add seasonal items. Usually we get the mango pamelo sago- perfect for warm weather. Can't go wrong with their Japanese soufflé pancakes- comes with choices of flavors; very light to eat. They have warm and cold desserts. They also have some warm appetizers dishes. Service is always good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Crowd comes in waves.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Only bad part is located at Shanghai plaza- parking is hit or miss but totally worth the visit.

    Sandy T.

Came here for dessert one night. Nothing special about their options. It was also not the best we have ever had. Very mediocre. Staff was friendly and accommodating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant had decent seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking lot can get quite busy since its inside a shopping center.

What are ingredients in the soufflé pancakes?

Usually, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder, sugar, oil and water. But this place has a few different options so ingredients could differ from one to another.

Is this a good place to study? Are there any places to charge your device?

I probably wouldn't study here. It's usually really busy and the interior is on the smaller side. If you like being outdoors, there's a patio with seating that could be good for studying! I wouldn't recommend it though. But I'd recommend trying it…

Are you automatically charged 18 percent service charge when you pay the bill?

Nope! :) You can choose how much to tip. However, I'm not sure if large groups (5+) have auto-gratuity.

    Are they open during covid-19?

Yes, you can call to order. It's all packaged up nicely.

What are the opening and closing hours?

    2 pm - Midnight Everyday

Are there any vegan items on the menu or can be made vegan?

    no there is not

    What time is it open?

    10am

The matcha parfait was good with a nice creamy texture and flavoring. However, I have one complaint. When coming with two others where we are lactose sensitive and with one having an allergy to oats, they wanted to try the matcha latte's and we asked if they can make with almond milk . The female worker said they don't have almond milk and only do oat or whole milk which was odd, and I asked again to confirm and was told no. They ended up having to do whole milk despite being lactose intolerant and was bothered. I look through here from comments by the owner saying that they CAN substitute with almond milk, which is confusing and a little annoying that we were told they don't substitute almond milk and was never told a reason why. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

Some other spots in town have similar offerings and may be doing a better job at it. I ordered the J2. Jumbo Pomelo & Mango with Sago ($13.95) to share in our group. There was a wide variety of ingredients, generally tasting quite good. The actual mango fruit was soft and super sweet, there was perhaps a coconut jelly topping that was also nice, as well as a coconut ice that felt snowy in texture, a mango custard, and a decent helping of sago near the bottom. However, I wish that the mango ice cream wasn't so hard and icy, and I was disappointed later to realize that we didn't get any pomelo at all. I really enjoyed the pomelo the last time I had a similar dessert. The dining area did seem pretty clean at least, and they offered complimentary cups of water for each of us after I requested it. Napkins are cheap but freely available, and spoons are pretty sturdy despite being disposable plastic. Maybe I'll come back to this Hui Lau Shan location if I'm around Spring Mountain and find myself really craving their brand of desserts. But I'd prioritize different businesses if I were planning a trip.

Reviews of this Korean coffee shop were impressive enough for us to give it a try. This "hidden" coffee shop had "speakeasy" vibes as it was a bit hard to find. Online photos led us to a massive, unmarked medieval-style wooden door with an "open" banner. Definitely don't judge a book by its cover as the interior featured antique furniture, a glass atrium, soaring trees, and a 3-level wooden bookshelf-reading area designed like a grandstand with seating you could climb on. I suggest staying here awhile and enjoy the F&D inside as it is definitely social media worthy and a gem in LV's Chinatown. After saving our spot, the gang proceeded to order from the long queue at the bar area. Took photos and marveled at this cozy cafe while waiting for our assortment of coffees and baked goodies to arrive. I had The Gäbi (dry cappuccino topped with raw sugar and espresso grounds) while my wife opted for the velvety Einspänner. We shared a Berry Ricotta Brioche. I was able to taste the other artisan pastries (Ube Mille Cake, Tiramisu Croissant and Strawberry Shortcake to name some) from our group and they were as good as they looked. The only complaint is the pricier bill than what other coffee shops might charge. I guess this view is at a cost then. First time trying in a Korean coffee shop and we loved it! We would definitely return if we're in this neck-of-the-woods again.

We specifically wanted to stay off the Strip because Vegas prices on the Strip can be pretty wild, so we found this place through Yelp. The space is really cute and has a cool industrial feel, with books and other little touches that make it more interesting than your typical dessert spot. They even had a couch swing, which turned out to be a lifesaver when my toddler was getting a little cranky. The desserts were good, but I have to say the prices felt pretty steep for the portions -- around $12-$13 for a very small slice. We tried an ube dessert and a matcha dessert. The matcha one was definitely my favorite. It had this interesting French-style flavor/profile and felt more unique. The ube one was just okay for me. And as a Filipino, I have to be honest: putting ube in something doesn't automatically make it amazing. I feel like sometimes ube gets treated as the magic ingredient when it's really about how well it's actually executed. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. It's a cute place, the atmosphere is fun, and it served exactly what we needed that day -- a casual little birthday-weekend dessert stop somewhere away from the Strip. I'm glad we found it, but given the prices and portion sizes, I'm not sure it would be a regular stop for us.

However, I do want to clarify one very important point regarding my service dog. He was calm, quiet, and completely under control throughout the entire visit. He was not active, disruptive, or vocal at any time. He is a trained service dog, not a pet. I also want to clarify that under the ADA, a person with a service dog cannot be required to sit outside simply because they are accompanied by a service animal. Service dogs are generally permitted to accompany their handlers in areas where customers are normally allowed. A service animal may only be excluded in limited circumstances, such as when the animal is out of control and the handler does not take effective action, or when the animal is not housebroken. Neither of those circumstances applied here. So while I understand your policy regarding active or vocal dogs, that does not describe my dog or what happened during my visit. He was calm and caused no disturbance whatsoever. I sincerely hope your staff can be better informed about the distinction between pets and service animals so that another customer with a legitimate service dog is not made to feel unwelcome or told they MUST sit outside.
