Eager to finally try the place, imagine my disappointment when I took a bite of this beautiful dessert, to be met with nothing but the taste of egg whites. It was already a steep price of $15 + tax & tip, but for it to not to have the flavor profile of anything besides egg just felt like a scam. The fruit was the best tasting thing on the plate and I was sad when that was finished. On top of this, the ambiance inside felt hectic and sweaty with the lack of ventilation. All of the Sweethoney desserts near me have closed down so I was super excited to see that they have a location in Vegas! This is on the second floor of the plaza. It smelled strongly of durian when I came in, but I grew up eating durian so I didn't mind! There was only one other table of customers when I arrived. My partner wasn't feeling like dessert so I got a sesame soup with tofu pudding for myself. He had a few bites and thought it was good. I love sesame soup and tofu pudding so this was great. I've seen this place so many times but never tried it until my current durian obsession led me here... and I'm glad it did! I love how they even have a whole durian section on the menu. I got the durian mochi, durian tea drink, and the durian soufflé. The durian tea actually isn't listed on the durian page though it's all the way in the back with the drinks menu. The ambience was really nice ..calm, clean, and not too busy. Our order came out pretty fast too. The soufflé does have a note saying there's a a little wait, but I think our order came out in around 15 minutes. Customer service was great they greeted and seated us pretty quickly. This was a very late post but had to let you know that this is a must try desserts place! The reason we went here was for the coconut jelly which was so delicious but a bit pricey. We also tried the sponge cake and another mix jelly sweet forgot the name sorry. This is located on the 2nd floor of the building inside Shanghai Plaza right below is the cuties store. We went when the sunset was going down which is addition to a nice view when you opt in to sit outside tables. There was also table seating inside. The service was pretty quick and they are very busy when we went so the customer service part is lacking because they were trying to attain every one and there were only three staff from what I observed when we went. As a durian fan, I was incredibly surprised that this dessert shop offers fresh, and I mean FRESH with the pulp and everything, durian ice cream. I have never tasted anything like it before.
