I…read morethought it was weird that the train station got a Chick-fil-A when there was another bigger location above the train station. I guess convenience is the most important thing for Chick-fil-A so thankfully the people in the train station don't need to go outside. This location was very tiny and very loud since it was opened to the whole public and had a lot of back and forth traffic in the halls. The time table schedule for the trains was in this restaurant so I know when my train was about to come on what track the timetable announces. All the tables were taken when I was there and I could barely get a booth with a comfortable cushioned seat to myself so that sucked. The food got to be ordered at the counter in this location. There were no self kiosks and no pick up order through the mobile app. Also the rewards app cannot be used in this location so that sucked a lot. The food was pretty expensive and sucked that Chick-fil-A is getting expensive these days. I paid around $30 for a kid chicken nugget meal and a Chick-fil-A deluxe meal together. The kids meal consisted of nuggets, waffle fries, apple juice, and a kids toy. You can swap the fries for a fruit cup, the apple juice for a milk, and toy for ice cream. I loved the paper bag the kids meal came in. The bag was very vibrant and blue with farm animals and lots of educational puzzles and games on the bag. This time the toy was a pretty good construction compared to other times when the toys were just card games of trivia, which is not really my thing. This time the toy was a DIY cow kart where I broke out cardboard inserts and built the cow kart myself. I don't know why the wheels were made out of plastic and everything above the ground was made out of cardboard paper so I cannot even wash the toy or put it in water. They gave a lot of waffles fries this time. Waffles fries are my favorite item from Chick-fil-A. The sandwich was alright. It was kind of dried though. The tomato was very ripe and fresh. Other than that I don't think the sandwich has sauce so that's what's lacking. I had to dip the sandwich into Chick-fil-A and sweet and spicy sriracha sauce. The sriracha sauce is my favorite and was very good and spicy with a hint of honey. I got frozen coffee this time and was surprised the lid was a soda lid and not a clear plastic lid with a huge hole for the straw. The frozen coffee was still very good though, creamy and semi-sweet. Overall, I wish they had rewards and pick up order. Other than that everything is good especially with the automatic door opener garbage can. I didn't need to touch the door or anything to throw my garbage.

Grilled chicken with Saffron Basmati Rice, Traditional Hummus, Pickled Onions, Fiery Broccoli, Tomato + Cucumber, Kalamata Olives, Harissa, Red Pepper Hummus are delicious and healthy! The Balsamic Date Vinaigrette and Lemon Herb Tahini add more taste to the meal and are healthy as well. On top of that, meals come in compostable fiber takeout bowls along with disposable utensils made of plastic. If you care about cutting waste, the same as I do, it makes sense to carry reusable utensils made of stainless steel.

He was about to close up my bowl without any dressing which was odd. I told him which dressing I wanted and he said, "Dressing is an additional charge" with an annoyed tone and face. So you expect people to eat your bowls and salads with no dressing included? Even though that raised eyebrows, especially since I was never charged for dressing at other locations, I was in a rush so I just said, "that's fine". He charged it as "Extra Dressing" indicating to me that I was correct. Extra would imply additional to what's already included which would be understandable. But he closed up my bowl with no dressing at all and almost seemed offended I asked for it as if dressing on salad is foreign to him. Just an odd experience overall. Like dude, maybe you're having a bad day, but I was friendly to you so maybe don't take it out on me? Especially when it goes against Just Salads policy which explicitly states that one dressing is included in every bowl, salad or wrap. Not that I really care about a measly $.97 but his attitude and own arbitrary policies going against his own companies policies is what annoys me. This Blimpies is located inside a convenience store where you can also get items like candy, drinks and potato chips. I ordered one of my favorite sandwiches, a ham and swiss on whole wheat with the works. Onions, peppers, lettuce, tomato with of course oil and vinegar and seasonings sprinkled on (no salt however, there's enough of that in the meat and cheese). So what makes this sandwich great? First, the bread is nice and soft and tastes fresh. It does not have any odd lingering flavors afterward. Then, the meat and cheese taste fresh like from a deli and finally all the extras add layer after layer of both sweet and tangy flavors. The family that runs this store are really nice. It feels good to support a local mom and pop business. They took my order fast and made the sandwich in no time. If you're in the area and looking for a good sandwich, definitely head to this Blimpies. The strip mall they are in is currently trying to get more businesses in so they could definitely use the foot traffic!
