I get my eyebrows tinted, only $20 and they look great, better than any other spas in the area that WAY overcharge. Won't name them, but I'm sure if you know shelby you know the ones. They speak broken English and they are sometimes hard to understand but they are extremely nice and professional, and very clean. They have punchcards as well, after so many threading you get a free one. I would like to try their facials and body wraps, also very fairly priced and maybe get a henna tattoo for the fall when I start belly dancing again. Highly recommended, walk inns are find but I have a feeling they will be getting very busy soon. I decided to give The Beauty Bar a shot, and I have no regrets! The ladies here are so kind and gentle, and they do a wonderful job (I used to go to a celebrity brow threader). And, you can't beat the price at only $12 (they prefer cash but take card). The spa is nice, and they offer other services too. It's in the mall which I don't mind, I just have to convince myself not to stop at Auntie Anne's every time lol. Totally recommend!

Secondly, I had my ear buds in I took a call while others around me were having active conversations, Denise proceeds to tell me she received a text from up front that told her that I was on my phone and no phone calls are allowed. So I proceeded to ask the proposing question "if you could not see my ear buds in how did anyone notice I was taking a phone call rather than just having a casual conversation with you Denise?" Which tells me that she was lying but rather having discussions on her phone (texting) rather than performing a service. Then Denise tells me she needs more lashes. This is very odd given you should know whom you are servicing and have your area prepared and ready for the customer. I opened up eyes and seeing Denise coming back from the front. To me this is very unprofessional service. I tell Denise that I decline her services and to take the items off my face. She tried to justice all actions but at this point I wanted to leave. I go up front, to understand the situation and now I'm in encounter with rude and confrontational manager Amanda. I told her my issue and which I never had an issue as I am a stellar tipper and had no issues with anyone else. She gets defensive and rude; pretty much insensitive and trying to justify the poor behavior and treatment that lash lounge did display at this appointment. From her facial expression to how she acted during the discussion does not reflect manager and I am quite disappointed. Amanda needs more training or really needs to be fired at this point, she has been the reason why senior lash associates and others have left due to conflicts. Businesses should be held to its upmost highest standards and Amanda does lack those capabilities. This is not high school it shouldn't be ran as such. I've had a bit of trouble finding a new eyebrow artist since I came to Michigan, as my skin is too sensitive for waxing (plus I'm a baby with no pain threshold). I decided to give this place a shot since my brows were a disaster and it was close by. Usha was quick to welcome me and get me seated. The back area and waiting room were really clean and simple. We talked a bit about how I wanted my brows, not too thick or thin. To be honest I just want them to look "natural and pretty", and I don't necessarily know what shape or arch that entails so I honestly just left it up to Usha LOL. She made me feel like a million bucks, I love my brows so much. Plus I have to say that she was by far the most gentle threader I've ever had - I was hardly tearing up and I ALWAYS do. Some places I look I legit cried. She was really quick but my brows don't look bad or misshapen at all! And no stray hairs or skin nicks either! I've even had places accidentally yank out an eyelash (OUCH), but not here! I also appreciate that she has a stamp card that you can stamp every time you come in. She was so welcoming and so nice to talk to as well! Her prices are more than fair ($8 for brows! That's California level!
