    Lots of goodies!

Cute little bakery. I was surprised to find out it was a local mother-daughter team. Perhaps due to its proximity to the mall, I just assumed it would be another chain. But nope, mom was working the counter and shared how her daughter is a pastry chef and this store is her dream. Very cool. The space is small and bright. There is one small table with two chairs which makes this definitely a grab and go type place. There was a decent selection of cakes in all different types: cupcakes, cake pops, mini bundt cakes. Many different flavors too. They also had chocolate covered Oreos and pretzels among other things. The look of the treats varied from cutesy to beautiful. They also had layer cakes on display and mom shared they do events. I tried the mini lemon bundt cake and while it had a nice lemon flavor, I found the cake to be a bit denser that I was expecting. I picked up a cupcake sampler for a co-worker and she said they were very good. It had six mini-cupcakes priced at $7.95. I don't know if they rotate the flavors in the samplers or not but all samplers the day I was in included lemon, moscato, red velvet, vanilla, almond, chocolate (which she may have said was Bailey's but I'm not sure). Parking is easy. It's located in a strip mall across from West Towne, where you'll find Rejuvenation Spa and La Baguette.

Due to poor lighting, this photo does not due the cake full justice! But still amazing none the less!

Yum. Tried gluten free lemon raspberry and regular white chocolate raspberry. The regular is so…read moremoist! The gluten free was okay, but not the same texture at all-much drier. Great flavors. Reasonable price. Pity pumpkin not available in the small single size. They have cards there which were fun. I thought it was local, but it's a franchise. Would go again bit prefer to support local only bakeries.

As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me and were super friendly! Just like at other locations, the cakes here were soft, moist, and packed with flavor. I'm not usually big on frosting, but the cake itself was absolutely delicious. I ordered two mini Bundts ($6 each)--Strawberries & Cream and Oreo Cookies & Cream--and both were rich, flavorful, and worth every bite. They offer over a dozen flavors and various cake sizes to suit any craving or occasion. At $6 per mini Bundt, it's definitely a bit of a premium treat--but these aren't your average cakes. The quality and flavor make it worth the splurge. Bonus tip: sign up for their rewards program! You'll get a free mini Bundt cake on your birthday and a BOGO coupon just for signing up. That's basically a sweet excuse to come back. Overall, I had a great experience and genuinely enjoyed the cakes. If you haven't tried their mini Bundts yet, sign up for the rewards and treat yourself--you won't regret it.

Seems like they bake in a convection oven based on the crunch of the outside of these items. Visit 2: Ordered a Chai and Nom Nom sandwich for dine in. Chai had NO flavor. It tasted like milk with some cinnamon sprinkled on top. The Nom Nom sandwich was a No No. It's a cheddar chive biscuit with egg, cheese, and maple syrup. It does not work. Listen, if maple syrup were good on eggs, it would be a thing. It's not. Furthermore, the way the cooked the egg was freaking weird (soft boiled?). The yolk was nasty and they did not season the egg. The maple syrup completely hid the taste of the biscuit, which made their wonderful cheddar chive biscuit pointless. They would be much better off making a basic egg and cheese biscuit. Just because you are located in Madison doesn't mean you have to try to come up with something unusual. Be yourself and show off your food! Visit 3: Got 1 cheddar chive biscuit to go. Woah. You'd think I offended the person working the counter. "That's IT???" she said, along with an eye roll. I felt as if she would have rather not I not bought anything. And the other person working also glared at me. WTF??? Normally I would give a pass, but a previous review mentioned the rudeness. I don't feel like being treated like that again, so I'm done. The only thing worth getting was the biscuit anyway. I can do without.

I also ordered the nom nom on a cheddar chive biscuit it had an egg, cheese, and a little bit of maple syrup on it. It was sooo delicious you should absolutely get it. I think some hot honey or a little bit of Tabasco would also be sooo good on it if you're brave enough to bring it! The general vibe of the coffee shop is bright and homey with high ceilings. A lot of nice wood furniture! It was a great place to get some work done. I will definitely be coming back.
