Stumbled upon the sweet smell of fresh waffle cones today and this place was so YUM! we got the ice cream Nachos, yes please!! Two flavors, it was like 3 scoops of each, with lots of waffle cones pieces, whipped cream, sprinkles and asked for hot FUDGE instead of the syrup. Ellanie was our dessert barista and she couldn't have been "sweeter". I asked a ton a questions about everything and she was very helpful, even with recommendations. We also got caramel apples for $5!!!! Our nachos were only $9, all their stuff at Disneyland would be $2k. This place is a sweet deal for being in a tourist spot. It's a nice place to come get some ice cream after walking the boardwalk. I got rocky road and it was pretty good! Maybe not having the chocolate chunks in it & adding more marshmallows instead would make it 10x better. There was a line out the door but the staff were quick. Stopped by Belmont Park for a quick stroll and stoped by Sweet Shoppe for a treat! It's only $11 even and you get three ice cream flavors with all the regular ingredients on a banana split (whipped cream, banana, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, cherries, nuts, etc.) They give a scoop of each so if you share it with someone else you're practically paying $5.50 for a scoop.5 for two people! The strawberry cheesecake was one of our flavors we got and it was especially good because it had authentic cheesecake bits in it. It is tourist season right now so expect longer lines on especially hot days. One of the most populated places to go at Belmont Park. There were giant chunks of black cherries which I loved. You can tell they use the best ingredients in their ice cream! The waffle cone with the sprinkles looked so pretty but was too sweet. I also loved the amount of ice cream they gave you for just one scoop! The guy who was working was very nice and happy even though it was Christmas Eve and I'm sure he would have rather been home. We found this spot walking through Belmont Park at Mission Beach. It's a nice spot for ice cream. They have a good selection of flavors. We ultimately decided to go with black cherry. Pretty good. Customer service was very good. They definitely made us feel welcome and never rushed us to make a selection. In addition to ice cream they also have brownies, cake pops and Rice Krispies treats.
