They have a great variety to choose from, whether you're into milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or even non dairy options. I also love that they offer chocolate drinks and coffee, so it's easy to turn a quick stop into a little treat moment. I tried the peanut butter dates and they were so good. Smooth, rich, and just the right size when you want something sweet without going overboard. I also had a dark chocolate truffle and that one was just as good. You can really taste the quality. Customer service was a highlight. The guy helping me was super personable, gave great suggestions for drinks, and was genuinely kind, which always makes the experience better. Honestly, I'm just happy I found a chocolate spot within walking distance. Definitely worth stopping by if you're craving something sweet but still want it to feel a little elevated.

I sampled chocolate from Peru, Madagascar, and Kenya, and they all had unique fruity characteristics. Because they're vegan, so they use oat milk for their chocolate instead of dairy. My wife and I also wanted some drinks while we were here. I had a hot chocolate. My wife had hers with espresso shots. Good espresso in pure chocolate will never not be good. They are family owned and they only add chocolate, sugar, and oat milk to make their bars. Overall, this was a fun place to check out at Little Italy, and they also had a stall at the Farmer's Market.

The boysenberry was the perfect separation for the waves of chocolate and the subtle crunch of the hazelnut toffee type of layer on the very top. The chocolate mousse was the exact mouth feel needed to separate the rich layers of chocolate cake. I saw, I conquered, and I was yet again impressed by what Extraordinary Desserts so purposefully and gracefully offered. My sister ordered the same drink iced, it also tasted good and a bit more spicy. My brother got a hot chai latte and liked it. Mom ordered a matcha latte with coconut milk. Overall, drinks are prepared well. Their chocolate drinks are worth it, especially if you like your hot chocolate a bit strong and more bitter than traditional American hot chocolate. All drinks come with oat milk (oatly barista) btw! You can sub for coconut milk, almond, or soy. I didn't buy any chocolate truffles, but noticed they're all vegan. They had some conchas and pastries too, all gluten-free. Didn't try them but they look promising! Apparently they offer free chocolate tasting, but the barista/cashier was busy making our drinks and had a couple of customers waiting so we didn't bother. They offer a variety of truffles and chocolate boxes.

The cafe is very cute with big open windows making it feel like a nice indoor outdoor space with the beautiful San Diego weather. There was no one there really on a weekday afternoon. Feel free to bring the beret, but leave the ménage a trios and cigarettes at home! I've never been to France, but I believe this place is like going to France just without going through customs and people speaking English, BUT other than that it's exactly like France! My friend and I wanted to come here for breakfast since it was both on our Yelp bookmarks list, we decided why not?! It was a quiet Sunday and the crowd hasn't rolled in yet. We ordered an almond croissant, Benedict, and macarons. We ordered them to go because we wanted an ocean view with our meal, however it would be better at the restaurant as the Benedict didn't transport too well. All in all, the food and ambience is great. Highly recommend getting there early so there isn't a long wait because it gets crowded on the weekends.

My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The latte was good, and my friend bought a kitchen sink type cookie with chocolate, coconut, and macadamia nuts. It was warm and gooey good! Another friend tried the gelato and said it was very good. There are a few tables inside and tables out in front outside. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful San Diego weather. The decor and tables definitely gives you an old school Italian neighborhood vibe with Italian markets right next door. If I am in the neighborhood again, I would definitely come back here to try the gelato and/or a piece of an excellent looking lemon pie bar I spotted.

From start to finish, she provided the kind of customer service that's hard to come by these days--warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about her craft. I reached out with a somewhat unique request for custom chocolate and wine pairings for a special event, and she not only rose to the occasion--she exceeded every expectation. She took the time to understand the ask and the wines we planned to serve. The result? A stunning and thoughtful collection of handcrafted chocolates that perfectly complemented each pour. Every bite was an experience in itself--beautifully balanced, creative, and utterly delicious. It was clear that she put a great deal of care and expertise into each pairing. Our guests were absolutely blown away, and many are still talking about the flavor combinations. Beyond her talent, what truly stood out was how easy and enjoyable she made the entire process. She was responsive, insightful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If you're looking for someone who brings artistry, professionalism, and a personal touch to their work, look no further.
