This place is properly named extraordinary dessert for a reason. They are known for their desserts…read moreboth in taste and in aesthetics. Desserts: 5/5 We got a blood orange scone and a strawberry danish. The scone was warm and delicious. The orange essence was well infused. The danish was crispy and creamy. Everything was so picturesque. Food: 3/5 Unfortunately, the food was not the best. We got the smoked salmon sandwich which was not very flavorful. The salmon was also slimy. The pesto spread was good though. It was creamy and the artisan bread it was served had great variety. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is such super cute. When you walk in, the desserts all look super appetizing. The seating areas are super cute and the floral decor are stunning. Service: 5/5 It is an order then sit down establishment. There is great attention to their dessert. I saw them heat up a knife just to cleanly cut the cake. The food service however did take some time to come out.

This was not our first time visiting Extraordinary Desserts, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Sadly, every time we come back, the service seems to get worse. The waiter's attitude and level of attention were unacceptable, and the overall customer service was simply not there. For a place that is supposed to be about enjoying beautiful desserts and having a nice experience, the quality of the service completely ruined our visit. Service, attention, and hospitality were all a zero.

Simply delicious coffee!…read more It's always a relief when you find a hidden gem. This establishment was so cute they even had cows hanging upside down! Such a fun and unique atmosphere. They also sell gelato, although we didn't get a chance to try it this time. The service was great, and the cashier was very helpful and friendly. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and it was perfect. They also offer a great selection of coffee from Hawaii. The place was clean, welcoming, and had a very friendly vibe. Next time, I'll definitely have to indulge in some desserts! ts.

The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.

Absolutely exquisite! I haven't tried the drinks (yet!), but I can review the truffles... I asked…read morethe staff member what his favorite chocolate was and he mentioned 'pomegranate'. I ordered one 'pomegranate' and one 'oat vanilla' truffle. One for now, one for later if you will. ;-) The girly in front of me ordered a matcha latte which looked amazing. They have a long list of chocolate drinks; many of which I look forward to trying next time! :-)

Ordered their Aztec spicy hot chocolate, hot. The chocolate tasted high-quality, a bit bitter. I…read moredidn't really feel the cayenne pepper until the end, but it was still pleasant! My sister ordered the same drink iced, it also tasted good and a bit more spicy. My brother got a hot chai latte and liked it. Mom ordered a matcha latte with coconut milk. Overall, drinks are prepared well. Their chocolate drinks are worth it, especially if you like your hot chocolate a bit strong and more bitter than traditional American hot chocolate. All drinks come with oat milk (oatly barista) btw! You can sub for coconut milk, almond, or soy. I didn't buy any chocolate truffles, but noticed they're all vegan. They had some conchas and pastries too, all gluten-free. Didn't try them but they look promising! Apparently they offer free chocolate tasting, but the barista/cashier was busy making our drinks and had a couple of customers waiting so we didn't bother. They offer a variety of truffles and chocolate boxes.

My best friend and I stopped in for a little sweet treat while we were in San Diego…read more I got the lemon yuzu tart and she got the crookie. Both were really, really good. The lemon yuzu was bright and tart, but in a good way, and the crookie was honestly beyond good. I'd never had anything like it before and definitely could have eaten the whole thing, but it wasn't my dessert lol. She also got a refresher and said it was really refreshing. Service was simple. We ordered at the counter and they brought everything out to us. We parked nearby at Park It On Market, which was really convenient. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely stop in again.

Could have informed ALL the customers a little closer to closing. Ordered a banana strawberry parfait and a caramel coffee, but the young lady behind the counter got the coffee wrong the first time. Bright it out again AND still got it wrong! Will not return to this particular location any time soon.
