Bomb ! $8.50
Katie G.

This is the most adorable little shack on the boardwalk. I noticed people walking around with the most delicious looking ice cream cone , so I look around and see a shack with a huge ice cream cone by it . My daughter and I just had to have one . The ice cream cone is so gigantic that we decided to share one . We went with vanilla soft serve ice cream in a chocolate dipped with peanuts cone for 8.50 . It was amazing eating this delicious ice cream cone right on the beach on a gorgeous day . Loved every second of it . They also serve snow cones . We can't wait to try one next weekend when we are back at the beach . Most likely we will be eating here a lot all Summer long .

Vanilla waffle cone

I was here for superbowl weekend and my friends and I tried this place out. The waffle cone with ice cream is $8 unless you want some extras like a chocolate dipped waffle cone. I asked for a frozen chocolate dipped banana but they were out. The place runs out of things so what they list they may be out of. One friend got a snow cone but the staff had some trouble making it. By the time were they were done the rest of us were half way into ours. Their snow cones was frozen together and the poor guy had to use his spoon like an ice pick. It cost $8 and he could not enjoy it. I suspect that it is a sunlight treat and one should not get it unless the sun is shining hot enough to melt the snow cone. The rest of the ice cream waffle cones melted pretty fast so I would recommend that you ask for a cup to put your cone top down in so you can spoon out the ice cream. Even if you are a quick ice cream eater it looked like a third to a half the cones leaked ice cream from the bottom. The good news is that the waffle cones taste good, the ice cream too. It is soft ice cream, not the greatest but not the worst. The customer service is friendly enough and on that I feel five stars is appropriate. The availability of some of the menu items and the difficulty with them, along with the prices they charge are marks against this place. The thing is, its in a good location and is great for taking selfies at with the scenery. My verdict is that it is worth trying once if you are there but stick to the waffle cone and get it with a cup.

Shaved Ice (piña colada, blue raspberry, strawberry)

Fun and refreshing shaved ice. Snow cones are incredibly big. Perfect for two people. They have a decent amount of flavors. Off the top of my head, Piña Colada, Tigers Blood, Blue Raspberry, Cherry, Strawberry, etc. The server accidentally gave me one of the wrong flavors. As soon as I brought it to her attention she immediately apologized and gave me a new cone.

This spot was awesome. The staff was friendly and quick to get to orders. It's a little expensive but the treats are very large.

Twist

Looked like a cute place to grab an ice cream. Much to our surprise they are massive! AND One size! I was a little nervous but it was so delicious! If I wasn't full on one I would have gotten another. What an excellent choice. They had a few different waffle cones, and flavors. I also saw pizza and a few other snack foods. Small place but clean and the food served here all looked really good. Friendly people. Will definitely be back on our next trip soon!

Twist and fudge with a view!

Me and my family were taking a sunny beach stroll down the boardwalk and found this place. We wanted some ice cream so we got the twist with fudge in the middle and boyyyyyy was it good. They give good portions and the staff was friendly. Morgan was our cashier and she was great. Great smile and good at what she does. Keep it up Morgan! We will be coming back for more treats!

If you want to have an amazing dessert experience this is the place! There is another location north of this location about a 7-minute drive but there are not as many tables. The same inventory but the parking is even more limited. The ordering workflow can be confusing at this location but here's how it works. The line on the left lets you view the dessert display that line will get you to the cashier but patrons think the line starts at the cashier. It does not, it can be confusing. I recommend having one person in your party stand in line near the register and have another party stand in line near the dessert display case on the left side. Swap places with your party if they want a better visual of the desserts. The coffee, tea and lemonade are good here, just be patient with your order it's a process here but the wait is worth it. This was not our first time visiting Extraordinary Desserts, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Sadly, every time we come back, the service seems to get worse. The waiter's attitude and level of attention were unacceptable, and the overall customer service was simply not there. For a place that is supposed to be about enjoying beautiful desserts and having a nice experience, the quality of the service completely ruined our visit. Service, attention, and hospitality were all a zero.

If you're waiting in line or making the trip out, I'd highly recommend adding a cake or pastry to your order. We came on Saturday around 11:30am and there was a line outside that took about 30 minutes to get in. While we were waiting, we saw parking enforcement come around a few times so make sure that you pay the meter! The inside is soo cute! We ended up staying here for a bit and studying because it was super spacious and cozy. There is a lot of seating in the front and back and even outside too! A lot of people were there working as well. There are plenty of outlets available so that was nice. If you do plan on studying/working, just bring noise cancelling headphones cuz it does get loud. The biscoff matcha latte was pretty sweet and the matcha flavor was not that strong but it was definitely a dessert more than a drink. Their cakes are pretty great too, I don't like cake but their cakes are worth trying. I liked the banana dessert the best though, it was like a banana pudding.
