Totally cool place with something for everyone! Vintage garden, clothing, furniture, etc, etc. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only open once a month Thursday-Sunday with themes for each month!

Sweet Savage is a very nice vintage shop! So many creative ideas to incorporate into your style. Reasonably priced items! I could spend hours browsing. The staff are all welcoming and friendly.

The warehouse is loaded with unique finds. Main building chocked full of trendy interior magic.

Pinterest in real life. This is the perfect place to go and wander around after a nice dinner in the area. Even their bathrooms are adorably decorated. There's plenty of friendly staff around. I loved the French market theme this month and I'll probably return for the holiday theme next month. However, I'm giving it four stars because I don't think I could afford to actually buy any furniture here. The prices seem a little arbitrary, too. There were some gorgeous frames and mirrors in the $30-$50 range, but I also saw a tree branch being sold for $98.

Love this place- great finds, some vendors reasonably priced, others a bit - way too high. All very beautifully decorated and creative with their space. Great place to go to decorate your house for a shabby chic look and not pay to get in or park like you do at Junk in the trunk. Every month is a different theme. Ex: Halloween, Christmas, Spring, European week and more... Parking is limited though so best to go early or later in the day. Lanyard with your # as you enter helps you shop. As you find things they will take the items to the front and put them in binds w your # in it. Tip- if the check out line is too long at the front- there is one in the back building too that never has a line. Just get your items and go to that building to check out and no wait! Amazing vintage jewelry lady- Anne - runs Dos Fannies just to the left of the from registers- she's so nice, small little space and her jewelry is amazing! All vintage pieces she has made from hand, and customized. Like old lockets and old buttons and charms. Tons of furniture, old windows and more here.... they have everything.

I've only visited Sweet Salvage twice in 2020 but I am hooked for life! This is one of the best gems in Melrose and I have been telling all of my friends about this vintage marketplace. Each month that they are open (Thursday-Sunday) is designed around a theme, and there is so much to look at, that it can be overwhelming at times! The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and they offer delivery services if needed.

    My first finds!

Very much what white people consider 'vintage' but in reality it's just lots of paint on cheap furniture.

Is it ever open? Why pay for space and power for a place that's never open? I don't get it.

Malcom's great too, but you can't help but feel happy to shop with such light that shines from Josiah. There are a million things in there to buy. There are some good bargains and super bargains if you like the hunt. I was also really impressed by how quickly the line moved and the cashier's friendly attitude. As mentioned in other reviews, there's ample parking and usually homeless people outside. They haven't bothered me or other patrons. There's a bathroom that requires a passcode, probably as an anti-homeless measure... I'm not sure how large other Goodwills tend to be, but I'm always able to walk out of the store with something decent. I've purchased bowls and dishes for about $1/piece, dresses for $8 avg, skirts for about $7 avg, tops for $6 avg. I've even purchased 2 suit sets for $10 each -- 100% silk and 100% wool respectively! Always happy with my experience at this store, although it's more expensive than I'd like a thrift store to be (then again maybe that's just the world we live in, in general). Note: if you donate a bag of clothes, you can get a 20% off coupon, although sometimes the cashier hooks me up with the coupon anyway!

I mostly focus on men's clothing, including suits, shirts, ties, and belts, and this was a decent location for those items. Unfortunately they mostly carry sport coats with very few matched suits. My homeboy was able to find a really nice suit right when we walked in but after 10 or 15 minutes of perusing the rack, I was not as lucky. It was also towards the end of the day and I'm pretty sure with the 50% off sale there were a lot of shoppers that likely combed through the racks before we got to them. They have the full array of both men's and women's clothing, housewares, sporting goods, kitchen wars, etc.. they also had some furniture items, including a couple of love seats and couches. This location also had more bikes and sporting equipment then I am used to seeing.

It has the patented Goodwill scent, lots of merchandise - some interesting. Family is here for reading books today. My carcass is parked on an old sofa from a smokers house. Goodwill had nothing to do with that. Prices - not defibrillator level, but a flipper of stuff would have to shop very carefully. I have to go. Someone is ringing that cowbell I had my eye on. Plus my backside will smell like the nicotine and food scented furniture of my youth.
