Honestly, I have to write about my experience with this company. First of all, HERSHEY is a terrible place. There are maybe only 3 restaurants to even bother eating their food and maybe 2 bars. The "theme park" is comically small. I'm staying at one of two sub-par marriott properties and I realized I left me credit card at Troegs... The ONLY place worth visiting in this hell hole. So, I called the ONLY cab company in Hershey. They refused to pick me up. Refused. They are in a "legal battle" with the fairfield. I explained I DIDNT care what had or hadn't happened in the past and explained I would walk down the street to ANY other establishment. After several times "checking" with someone next to him, the "operator" hung up. Just hung up. I plan on taking my own legal action against this customer as they failed to provide a service to me and I feel discriminated against... I think it was my race ?? read more

Cheaper than uber. ($25 from Comfort inn at the park to Harrisburg airport vs $37) cheaper than the hotel's reccomended shuttle service ($10 vs $15 in hershey area) Driver was very friendly and very punctual. He was nice enough to point things out like a mini tour on the ride to Penn State hospital where I was having my interview. He picked me up the next morning at 4:30AM to go to the airport and was 10 minutes early. He even remembered me and asked how my interview went. Very thankful for his services and for the friendliness. I will use this taxi service again if I am in the area. read more

Avoid Sweet Ride at all costs! (Especially for transporting large groups) I have used Sweet Ride on a large number of occasions (due exclusively to the lack of other options in Hershey), and they are consistently rude, unprofessional, and unreliable. I typically have used them for transportation to downtown Harrisburg with a larger group, so I usually call a couple of days ahead of time to check availability. On multiple occasions, I have confirmed availability with them on one day to have them tell me on a subsequent day that they "don't have anything available". This is, of course, during the 1 of 10 phone calls that doesn't go to voicemail. I was ecstatic when Uber came to the area, because it means no longer having to deal with this ridiculous "company." You're better off hitch-hiking. read more

Very Punctual car service. Keisha and John are terrific and friendly! However, if you are in Hershey for a few days and got there via Amtrak or airplane you are better off renting a car. This car service is very expensive. I used their service to and from Hershey Park for 2 days and charged me $40 instead of $45 to Amtrak on my departure date. I think they could have done much better than that providing that I patronized them for those two days. Nice drivers, clean car but $15 for a 2 mile drive from the hotel to Hershey Park is a rip off. 'Proudly serving the Hershey area', what a crock of shit. I called 24 hours in advance to set up transportation for two days while my car was being worked on. I specified three times I needed a pickup at 7:30 AM, and three times I was told this was fine. At the time of writing, it is now 8:20, nearly an HOUR after the time I was told I'd be picked up. HALF an hour ago, I was supposed to clock in for work, and NOBODY at their office is answering the phone, despite their posted hours saying they're open. This is the ONLY car service in Hershey, so I guess they can afford to do whatever they want. Isn't monopoly a great thing? Don't ever go with this company, just rent a car instead. Utterly useless, and if your needs are time-sensitive at all, you WILL be late. Only reason Sweet Ride gets one star is because there's no option for 'zero'. read more

I have lived in Central PA for 10+ years and struggled with Cab service to and from the Airport. Then I found Sweet Ride. What a major upgrade to local cab companies. I prefer town car service but this is very close. Clean vehicles and professional prompt service. Don't call anyone else. You will regret it. read more

I made a reservations a day prior for a taxi pickup to take me too work for an auto garage to drop off my car. after fifteen minutes past their pick up time I called them, very confused they put me on hold and eventually hung up on me. after I hitched a ride to work from my mechanic I called these guys again and they made up some excuses saying "didnt we call you". nope no call I responded they put me on hold and hung up on me again. I proceeded to call them again. no answer. I got a text from them...cant talk now. I get the feeling they dont have a clue able customers service. Im glad I didnt miss a flight or get in trouble at work. dont waste your time with these guys. read more

Arrived by train in Middletown from Philadelphia on June 18th. Was taking my grandson to Hershey, something he had been looking forward to for three years. We are from San Diego, but were staying in Philadelphia. This company took a very long time to go the 10 miles we were away from the hotel and then charged us half the fare of a round trip ticket from Philadelphia to drive us the 10 miles! Don't go to Hershey without a car. This service is NOT worth the cost. I would NEVER use them again. read more

I had a confirmation for Sweetride transportation to the Harrisburg airport. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP for an early morning pickup. My car was in a repair shop so I missed my plane. read more

I had a confirmation for Sweet Ride to transport guests from a hotel to and from the wedding site. They arrived as scheduled but when the wedding was over they failed to show to return the guests to the hotel. When we called Sweet Ride the person answering the phone, Eddie, was extremely rude. Needless to say we will never recommend Sweet Ride. read more
