    Blue Velvet Cake Slice
    Caitlin V.

Five stars for their Blue Velvet cake slice! So moist, crumbly, chewy, and melts in your mouth goodness, like a cake should be. And it has the right amount of frosting and it isn't overly sweet. Whenever I'm in Carson, I try to stop by and grab a slice. The staff is nice and the place is clean. When I walked in, I was welcomed with the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls. I was tempted to try one, but I stuck with the blue velvet. Next time though.

I gave this location another try. Customer service was a little better but I'm still not sure why staff seem timid when people walk in. Items were better stocked. Not only was there cake slices but finally cupcakes, peach cobbler nachos and cinnamon rolls. I bought the peach cobbler nachos. They were good. It's a different twist on peach cobbler, less filling, crispy nacho-like crust and cream on top. I was not happy about the carrot cake this time. It was kind of crumbly, definitely not fresh. I'm being generous to up my review to 4 stars because the store was more stocked on a Monday.

    The Peach Cobbler Cheesecake slice!

A super cute but not-so hidden bakery, which is WHAT WE NEED MORE OF! I feel like all of the cute local bakeries are always hidden and out of sight, so I'm glad Sweet Red Peach isn't... esPECIALLY since their sweet treats are AMAZING! I got a Peach Cobbler Cheesecake slice as well as a Cinnamon Roll from here and MAN. THEY WERE BOTH SO GOOD! You can absolutely tell they didn't just throw it outside of the freezer and let it thaw out, which is heavily appreciated in today's world. I want to also say how amazing the service was! It was my first time in and I believe the cashier had noticed I looked a little lost. She asked if it was my first time in, and when I had replied yes, she politely started introducing me to all of the sweets they had on available stock, as well as letting me know of Banana Pudding that was still getting made. She had a smile the entire time and was kind and patient with me. WILL COME HERE AGAIN!

Another location with some sweet red goodness.. I got a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream & German chocolate cake this time but my favorite is the lemon blueberry, red velvet & carrot cake but this location don't have them so that's why I only gave 4 stars..

Saw on Facebook that the soft opening of Sweet Red Peach Carson was today, so I had to check it out! I arrived about 10 minutes after opening. The bakery is located in a new condo/retail building -- everything from the parking lot to the storefront was spotless and welcoming. It's a grab & go setup, but there are tables out front if you want to enjoy your treat right away. Parking is easy with both street options and a lot behind the building. There were about 20 people in line when I arrived -- word's definitely getting around! I wanted to try the cinnamon roll, but they weren't ready yet. Instead, I picked up a toffee chocolate chip cookie with pecans ($4), banana pudding cup ($7.50), and a slice of chocolate/chocolate cake ($8). Everything looked -- and tasted -- just as amazing as the original location. Service was courteous. I could tell employees were excited and a bit nervous about day one. This is actually my first time adding a business on Yelp, and I'm happy it's for Sweet Red Peach. Welcome to Carson!

Went here on 10/21 and they were closing so there weren't a lot of options, but I returned on 11/13 and it was early in the day. It was slow and seemed like they had just opened a bit before that. There were so many desserts to choose from. We ended up getting the strawberry cheesecake cake, coffee cake, banana pudding and white vanilla cake.

I love sweet red peach Carson! I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners Michael, and he was so polite and inviting! My cupcakes were fresh, the establishment was clean, and the staff were so professional and friendly! Go visit this location!

The slice of cake in the oversized container.

I actually really like this location because it's a little closer to home, but INGLEWOOD will always be my OG. I love them folks over there -- the energy, the crowd, the supporters, everything. And don't even get me started on how fire the desserts are. Ok, I'm done praising INGLEWOOD OG. Now Carson is coo too, and the lady here is nice. They don't really have everything like Inglewood, but they're still solid. The only thing I have to mention is the container situation. The ones at Inglewood are a bit smaller and fit the cake perfectly. Carson uses the same type of container, just bigger, so the cake slides around. By the time I get home it doesn't even look the same. Y'all are nice!! But please get the containers right!

German chocolate cake and banana pudding.

I went the other day to get a banana pudding and a german chocolate slice of cake, they were both really good. It was interesting to have the banana pudding without the wafers being soggy. Everyone was also polite. Will be returning.

We've been looking forward to trying these baked goods out. First physical impression leaves a bit to be desired, there's no warm inviting nook seating or seating at all really other than the folding picnic table and 2 chairs. The counter is very clean so I'll give that an A+. Shelf stock was low and I'm not quite sure what it looks like day to day or if there's a specific time when it's at full stock and that being said, options were pretty much limited. We went with a blue velvet, chocolate- chocolate and a cinnamon roll (the sign says they're voted #1 roll in LA). As far as we tasted, the kids loved both cakes therefore kid approved. As for adult taste buds, I was seemingly surprised that the blue velvet was pretty darn good and more enjoyable than the chocolate- chocolate. The chocolate cake was good, don't get me wrong, but it was waaayy to sweet for my liking. 1 forkful was more than enough sweet on the chocolate one. Anyway, I'd definitely go again and try the other flavor cakes. Plus why not enjoy a sweet craving every once in a while *update. The cinnamon roll is dulishes (in my tots words) it's definitely worth the trip alone. 10/10 recommend

Unfortunately my cake slices were dry & breaking apart. The frosting is super delicious though. Will be back to give them another chance.

Expect a line, always. If there's a wait, that just means they're busy and always in demand of fresh breads! I highly suggest coming in the morning versus afternoon because they will run out. If you do need huge quantities, then preorder. There's only one cash register at all times, hence the long wait. Be patient! I love that it's in a huge plaza with Seafood City, Jollibee, Chow King and Red Ribbon! Parking is huge but again, it's always busy here! Plan accordingly. If you've read this far, thanks! (: I've been going to this Valerio's since childhood. This is our go-to for fresh pandesal! My parents and relatives always bought from here. I've tried a handful of their breads--ube, cheese pimiento, pan de coco, cheese filled pastries! You name it! You can't go wrong with any of their goodies. I especially love ordering from their glass shelves! There's Turon, Suman, Eggrolls, hopia, empanadas..the choices are endless! They always offer pancit, pandan, bilo-bilo, nilupak, palitaw, Puto bumbong, puto flan and more! It's hard to pick just one favorite since everything is so delicious! I ordered the strawberry cream croissant, and it was absolutely amazing. It was light, airy, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. The pastry itself was perfectly flaky and buttery every bite was delicious. I can definitely see why this place is such a big hit! I also tried the iced condensed coffee. It was definitely strong, but also incredibly creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. It paired perfectly with the croissant. Another plus is that they have plenty of parking and lots of seating, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a coffee and dessert. Few key notes: * There's a small free private parking lot and it is almost never 100% full even during busy hours. * While the bakery closes at 7 PM, come before lunch hours to get the full selection of baked goods and refrigerated sandwich options; otherwise, many of these items sell out before closing time. * Plenty of indoor tables, but no outdoor seating. * S-tier items: strawberry croissant, sticky bun, steamed pork bun. * A-tier items: half turkey avocado sandwich, pork katsu sandwich box. * B-tier items: almond croissant, drip coffee. This is a nice grab-and-go spot for anyone who is looking for a quick bite and quality baked goods. Personally, this is not an ideal first-date spot or a place for really good coffee - stick with places like Corridor Flow just few blocks away.
