It was my husband's…read morebirthday and we were looking for a place to stop for a special birthday treat and the Dairy Palace was on our way home. It's a small stand with a small parking lot and, although the line wrapped around the building, it moved quickly. There are a large number of choices, many of which are pictured and described on the side of the building to peruse while you are in line. I decided to have the Bananas Foster sundae. It was vanilla soft serve sprinkled with cinnamon, topped with caramel and thinly sliced bananas. Pure heaven! The ice cream itself is sweet, creamy, and had a very natural vanilla taste. The bananas were the perfect ripeness and meshed well with the other ingredients. I loved it! My husband had a mango pina colada freeze, which is like a milkshake. Again, the flavors blended well and their vanilla soft serve is outstanding so it brought the drink together. They take cash or card but do bring some cash for a tip for the hard-working staff. This is definitely going on my favorites list and we'll likely combine it with a trip to the Dog House, which is nearby.
