I had not wanted to spend much on the trip -- and, well, Blush on Main ended that fantasy pretty quickly. Blush on Main has racks and racks of beautiful women's clothes and accessories. If it weren't for being pregnant, I may have revelled in these racks a bit more. My sister-in-law, though, found a few items to try on here. What I really loved was Blush on Main's hat collection. I'm a sucker for a great hat (for proof, see my main Yelp profile pic). This shop had a few varieties that were particularly good for more regular wear, such as when outside at home, at farmers markets, on vacation, etc. I found a straw hat with a blue band that I had to have. It cost around $45, I believe, which was over my budget for the day (see the second paragraph above) but not so much to break the bank. I forked over my credit card, and I wore the hat the rest of the day. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law also got great hats. He wasn't sure what size he needed, so he grabbed the size he thought he needed. Due to COVID-19, fitting rooms were closed, which is understandable. He said to the guy working up front that he would try them at home and if they didn't fit, come back and exchange them. The guy working said that was fine. He took them home and they were way too big, so he came back and grabbed the next size down and put the original jeans on the counter. The girl working rang up the new jeans, but told him after he purchased the new ones that he couldn't exchange the old ones due to COVID-19. Again, I totally get this, but your whole staff should be on the same page. If a staff member tells someone they can exchange something, you should honor that. I used to buy all of my boots from Timmy, but we won't be coming back here again. I understand the policies in place for the better of public heath, but you should educate your staff.

Prices are fair for a local business with high end clothing and accessories. Some may think it's slightly expensive, but I felt like I got high quality items for the price I paid. I was looking for an offbeat sport coat to compliment a pair of slacks for a wedding ceremony and celebration. Jim took his time and helped me find what I needed and had me try on numerous clothing items. Found a perfect coat for the occasion which he is altering for my sleeve length. I also picked up a great cardigan that I have gotten numerous compliments on. The service was top notch and Jim was fun to talk to. He even gave suggestions for other clothing shops in the area.
