This place consistently makes incredible Indian food at excellent prices. The girl in front is sweet and willing to explain dishes . I didn't take any pictures this time because I did a To go order but she suggested next time that I try the Panna Puri in house and gave me one of the sweets they sell . Great prices excellent food, friendly people. read more

The food was incredibly delicious and tasted truly authentic. Every dish was full of rich flavors and spices that felt just right. The service was just as impressive -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I did an Uber delivery from here not even 30 minutes ago. While I was waiting on the customers order for over 10 minutes there were 3 men who came out the business surrounded my car kept looking in my windows and took pictures of me and my plates. They made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I was just sitting with my car off, windows down and reading my pocket Bible while I waited on the order to finish. I'm a small woman, only 5'2" and for three men to do that from this business is highly unprofessional and concerning. I will not be picking up anymore orders from them read more

Tikki Masala is out of this world but the Naan could be better. Sweet Magic's Paneer Tikki Masala keeps me coming back everytime. It is absolutely delicious. I've also dabbled with their Chicken Biriyani which is great as well but pretty spicy! Their Garlic Naan is not my favorite and is sometimes over cooked. But once you dip it into the curry, you forget all about the consistency/texture of the bread. This place is mainly a take-out spot with only a few tables and limited seating. I would recommend placing your order over the phone a head of time. They get busy so call at least 30 mins before you would like to pick up the food. read more

Amazing South Indian and Panjabi food! I am so impressed with everything. We ordered a masala dosa, Idaly, mattsr paner, mango lassi and chai. Wow so goor!!!! I can't wait to share this with my friends who love Indian Food! read more

Used a night in by myself as an opportunity to order a ridiculous amount of Indian food to enjoy! I have been really impressed with the Indian food in north Phoenix and sweet magic is part of that! I ordered delivery through door dash, they accept the order right away and the restaurant had my food ready quick. I typically get some sort of dal dish because I love lentils, but yesterday I got the malai kofta. I also got a masala dosa, which is one of my faves. I got spring rolls too! Spring rolls were crispy on the outside, kinda soft and a little doughy on the inside but good! The malai kofta was creamy and flavorful without being too spicy. The masala dosa was my favorite of everything I got! Would definitely order from here again. read more

Sweet Magic Indo-Chinese Restaurant - Malai Kofta, Veg Spring Rolls, Masala Dosa - Indian Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Good food, clean cooking practices, fresh ingredients and quality customer service. The #1 concern I had with almost all other Indian restaurants is kitchen cleanliness, unhealthy cooking style, unhygenic surroundings and subpar food quality. With "Sweet Magic", I always had a fabulous experience. read more

Food was good. The price and quality match. Taste is good. Wouldn't say too fancy, but taste is good. Vada and dosa was good. Very economical and good taste. Giving 5 star to motivate them. read more

Ordered Veg Biryani family pack. We got chilli paneer as an appetizer. This is our second visit, first time came to a tiffin buffet. Both the time, taste of the food is below average. Chilli paneer wasn't fried which didn't taste good. We fried on our own after coming home which tasted much better after that. And biryani taste is also not impressive. Way too spicy and lacked correct flavor. Didn't felt like eating from a restaurant. Got a decent quantity with family pack but unfortunately don't feel like eating it. So probably will end up throwing the food. There are several other restaurants around in the area which offer much better tasty food. Note: Chilli paneer pics attached is the one the restaurant provided vs other pic which we fried on our own. read more

My family did takeout from here last night and the food was delicious! I LOVE the butter chicken- butter chicken is my classic go to and these guys do an amazing job! As an Indian family you know a place is good if we like to order from here read more

Don't let the size of this little place fool you, they make food with big flavor! We have only tried the dosa and samosa, but have loved every bite! We've had the mysore masala dosa (lentil flower) and the rava masala dosa (semolina flower). Both were great! The accompanying chutneys are also good, and well spiced! The samosas were good but the dosa are the highlight. My only issues are that the online ordering kept failing to process my order, and it would be nice if they marked items on the menu as vegan. read more

I had SM special chicken biryani here , the taste was good to what I have in phoenix , good service I ordered early on phone before visiting , the lighting and ambiance is perfect too . read more

Try them for their Indian desserts and snacks. Samosas especially. The restaurant is not suited for big group dining, and has limited seating. Maybe because of that, they have more take out orders. When I dined in last time ( for a school fundraiser), I was left waiting 45 minutes for an appetizer(chaat). I almost cancelled and walked out. Taste wise, they have some great dishes. They just need to improve service. read more

I order food through Grubhub.. I get a call saying they are out of haryali kabab instead they will send me tandoori chicken.. I spent $60 on 3 items including driver tip but to my dismay there are no veggies in vegetable biryani except for few carrots here and there and same with chicken biryani.. I have promptly sent message to them on WhatsApp but no response even after 3 days .. not sure how they run the business not getting basic things right and charging huge amounts.. I never write bad reviews keeping in mind that it will impact the business but here I got frustrated as they don't respond to my messages .. Hope they take this in positive way and improve in future read more

Food is great but the service is slow... your order will take forever! for-ever! So, call in and order ahead of time.

Don't plan on dining in, here. Take it to go. This is probably a great place to get Indian cuisine to go. The biryani was a new experience for this diner. Meh, I'll stick to curry next time. Maybe it is better for more refined cultural palates. Dining in with a friend was okay, but Sweet Magic is scarcely equipped for it. Was the A/C on? :D There is definitely a cultural influence here...and underlying judgment. Paid for a bottle of water with my meal. Didn't get it, had to ask, was given begrudgingly (it sure seemed), and it was warm (okay, maybe room temp). Nevertheless, I'll be back to try their curry. To go. read more

I was there to dine in on Saturday night, the food we initially ordered was tasty and the service was OK too. I wanted to order some more and said I will pay at the end but the lady behind the counter forced us to pay for the food ordered until then even when(as if we are going to run away without paying). I mentioned I have some more to order and she insisted we pay for the food. I at that point paid off and then my daughter wanted "Mango shake". My wife went to get one and tried to pay using a credit card which she said I have to buy at least $5 to pay with the card. This was not mentioned anywhere and was not told to us. And we ended up getting 3 of those for no reason even though we wanted one and out of which 2 of them tasted so bad and had to eventually trash them. For that reason I may not go to this place again. Have so many better places with better food. read more

Sweet Magic is our default choice for good South Indian food. Always consistent in quality and taste, their biriyanis are some of the best in Phoenix. The staff is very courteous and the food is very good. Definitely recommended. read more

We ordered the chicken biryani to go. Our order was very specific, and was for 24 people. They had it ready on time. Everything was packed very well as we had explained that we were going to be driving to Sedona with it. All the garnish was in separate containers. THE FOOD WAS JUST DELICIOUS. There was a very generous ratio of chicken to rice and we had requested that it not be too, too hot. It was full of flavor but not drowning in hot chilies. So we could all taste the food and enjoy it. Our guests all enjoyed it too. Vinod was a good listener and filled our order just the way we needed it to be done and everything was ready for an early morning pick up time. Go in person or call ahead and get the food to go made to your specifications. read more

Recently ordered Paneer-65 biryani and it's not great as they claim, the worst part is biryani rice itself is hard and not cooked properly,I faced similar taste issues with other appetizers, It looks like only their sweets are good and for other items they need a better cook. read more

Yummy food and sweets. I go there often. Prices are a little on the expensive side. One of the few south indian restaurants.

This spot has become a staple of my weekly lunch routine. They're priced well and the food is great! They're always friendly (some other Indian Food restaurants in the area haven't been...) My coworker loves their food too! read more

Small place in Scottsdale, but food is good and prices very reasonable. This is my second time here and the place did not disappoint. There was consistency in the food. If you are around, definitely worth a try. Try their Dani Batata Puri... I tried 3-4 items from their quick bites menu and this was the best! read more

Our go to restaurant these days food is amazing . My favorite is gobi Manchurian must try dish . There deserts are also fresh and delicious

Fresh and flavorful! Quick and the food is hot. Love this place. I've ordered 4 times and have not been disappointed

The Southern Indian food is quite delicious. The lentils and chutney to go with it were rather spicy and the Idlis weren't soft but overall authentic Indian taste. The restroom could be a tad cleaner and the area around it please. Will definitely go back to try more dishes. read more

Ordered takeout. Very good chicken 65, chaat items (papdi chaat, dahi poori) chicken roll, chicken curry (although curry was little oily) Pretty good ulavucharu biryani. Garlic naan was good, but a little too much butter to my liking . Malai kofta had burnt kofta, that was only bad item read more

We order food here after a recommendation from a friend and we spoke to Vinod and ordered Baby corn & Gobi Manchuria. He is very attentive and spoke to us in the evening of the day of the order and got the exact time when we are coming to pickup, so they can cook fresh so we don't loose the crunch & tast of the Gobi & Baby corn Manchuria. Items are packed and piping hot when I reached and they tasted amazing. I certainly recommend them for your future party orders. While I was there I picked up some Madata Kaja Sweet which is famous Andhra delicacy and I remember my days back in India with the taste. Its been long time I had a indian sweet with a tast of back home. Thank you Sweet Magic & Team read more

Totally Mismanaged restaurant. They give Dosa without sambar. If they give sambar, the sambar is full of water. Veg fried is not all cooked. They will change the dish without asking you and then say they tried calling you but could not reach you hence they changed it !!!! what a bunch of lies. They will say 15 mins but you wont get your order upto 45-50 mins. They will say only 2 mins sir only 2 mins sir only 2 mins sir and you will waste your energy chasing them. No ethics, no management. They will give false advertisement of specials in order to attract customers and once you call, they will say we are out of the promo but you can try so and so AVOID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Today I bought a dosa and an oothappam from sweet magic and highly disappointed with their sambar quantity and this is the least quantity of sambar any restaurant served in my experiences so far and I have asked additional sambar and gave the feedback right at the place probably to the owner of the restaurant and the answer from the person at restaurant was highly unconvinced, this is good place for sweets and may be for non veg appetizers but I won't recommend if you want to try dosa or idly, more over it is 80 percentage water and 20% sambar read more
