They have dessert crepes, waffles, shakes, churros, cakes, sundaes, chocolate dips, etc. Whatever you're craving, they most likely have it. I ordered the S'mores crepe ($10.99) which included nutella, graham cookies, and marshmallows. The prices do seem high for a dessert, but the portion sizes are fairly large. You could easily split it between two people. I'm a big back at heart, so I can finish it all by myself ;) The crepe was heavennnnn sent omg. The employees are always friendly and work quickly. They make everything fresh on the spot, so depending on how busy it is, you may have a bit of a wait. This location doesn't have much seating and is pretty small, so it's more of a take out spot. It's also street parking on a very busy street in Paterson. Don't lose your mind, just think about the desserts.

There are tons of pastries both sweet and savory so next time I'll have to try one of those. The baristas new also friendly and eager to recommend coffee drinks that they believe you'll enjoy. Would come back for sure!

The Nablus website directs you to door dash for online orders but just call the shop directly if you don't mind picking it up and saving money. Anyway, we took it out of the box and put the entire tray in the oven. They gave us a container of syrup to pour on top after heating it up. After that my friends LOVED it and said it's the best knafe they've had in their life! Nablus is simply the best!

He had tried it at a friend's mosque and he says he's been chasing that high ever since. We figured we'd try to get some at Mokafe. It wasn't too difficult to find street parking, but the cafe was surprisingly busy for a late Sunday night. We placed our order for Adeni Shai, Dubai Knafa Brownie, and a Lotus Biscoff croissant. Everything was delicious. I have never had Yemeni tea before so I didn't have a bar to measure it against. I really enjoyed the tea though my friend said it wasn't exactly what he was looking for. I feel like it could've done with more spices but it still tasted very good. The Dubai Knafa Brownie was excellent. The brownie by itself was nice and moist with the perfect texture for a brownie. The Knafa set it over the top with the crunch and pistachio flavor. I'd definitely get this again. The Lotus Biscoff Croissant was good, but I liked the brownie more. It was about an average croissant but the Biscoff spread added some nice flavor to it. I think it could've used more though. It was buttery and flaky; pillars a of what a croissant should be. However, I'd try another pastry before ordering this again. The place is clean, they play great music, and the service is prompt and friendly. Mokafe is a wonderful Coffee House and I'd love to come back.

Since I couldn't try any churros I left disappointed, with being refunded. I waited a month to give them a second chance and was rather disappointed. Maybe it's the whole automation thing but felt the churros were very forgettable. They were a hard overly sugary mess. The dulce de leche wasn't even that tasty. In the end, I decided the taste wasn't worth the wait to make it nor the caloric intake, I placed it unfinished in the bin. It was really disappointing I really wanted to like this place. I have fine memories of eating chocolate helva from Helvaci Ali in the Kadıköy çarşı in the evening…read more- sometimes as dessert after a meal at Çiya Sofrası before catching a late ferry back to Eminönü. I would argue that Turkish helva is the superior form, better than its Levantine and South Asian counterparts, with a decadent superfine texture covered in oil, typically served with ice cream. The Turkish chain has now opened an outpost in Paterson, NJ, and while they use a bit more oil than I recall being necessary, it's such a pleasure to have access to this sweet again. The environs are a bit sterile inside, with an overuse of the color "mavi," so on a warm night, I'd instead recommend taking your helva to go for a stroll down Palestine way.

Part of that is staying up to date on the new spots in town. I had been watching them renovating and did a bit of research. I found that Helvaci Ali has a rich 100 year history and that this is their second US location. All of that was leading me to want to try it and then a coworker that I recommended Paterson to, returned the favor and told me how good Helvaci Ali was after he tried it. That was the push I needed to walk past my usual favorite dessert spot. (If you come to Paterson often, you'll have a favorite of everything) First things that hit me when I walked in with my daughter was the delightful air conditioning, followed by the stunning decor. Absolutely gorgeous navy blue, with decorative touches and great tables/seating. Next thing that we experienced was incredible service, super pleasant and accommodating staff. They provided samples of the helva and it was love at first bite! Pistachio is always a favorite. They made my daughter and I sundaes with pistachio helva, kunefe topping, and Turkish ice cream. So wonderful! The Turkish ice cream has a unique and lovely texture from a slight thickener that helps it stand up to the heat without melting quickly. That made it ideal for the sundae with the helva. What more can I say other than, add it to my list of Paterson favorites!
