Donuts, stale & the rest wasn't available but charged. It was a delivery. So, I found a bakery with much better, fresher products. Word of mouth is everything.

We didn't try the cupcakes, so cannot speak to them. One issue with the cakes, however, that doesn't let this rise beyond four stars is that they make the cakes in their Nanuet location, and then freeze them. You actually cannot order a fresh cake, which is odd. Upon calling in an order, they start to thaw out the cake. They recommend keeping it thawed for two hours, at least before serving.

Even my simple request for a naked cake which had a clear scalloped "Happy Birthday" nameplate and letters in script was not followed. They were both incorrect, and the final result was not what i asked for. The pastries were also completely different from the reference photos I provided. She later explained that she had just returned from vacation and did not have the ingredients needed to make what I had already ordered and paid for. That should have been communicated before she accepted and completed my order so I could decide whether to proceed, not after she made substitutions without my approval. I spent over $400+ on this order to not get what ordered. This was especially upsetting because everything was intended to coordinate with a specific birthday theme. I communicated exactly what I wanted, provided visual references in person, and paid for an agreed-upon order. Instead of following my requests, or communicating with me, she made whatever she felt like making based on what was convenient for her. My experience showed me that she prioritizes her own choices over what the customer actually orders and pays for. I'm sharing this review to warn customers who need specific designs or details for an important occasion, providing clear instructions and reference photos may not mean they will be followed. Confirm every detail and make sure she has the correct ingredients before paying, because I did not receive what we agreed upon.
