The first place of its kind and a brilliant idea - EVERYTHING on the menu is dairy free, including ice cream, sundaes, and even milkshakes with whipped cream! Another thing that really impressed me was the awesome service from both staff working. We went on a rainy Monday and it was still busy. We got the chocolate brownie ice cream and wow... it tasted so good! There have been so many times where we've gotten nondairy ice cream from other places and it's just not even close to real ice cream. This place is the real deal! They also had so many flavors to pick from, as opposed to other ice cream places that usually just have lemon sorbet as their dairy free option. All of the ice creams (I believe) are coconut milk based. I saw this place randomly in a TikTok vlog and I'm so happy that I did. There are also gluten free options. read more

Absolutely in love! Ice cream is what I miss most when it comes to being DF and having 10 choices felt so indulgent I didn't know what to choose it was overwhelming. Everything is also gf which is a huge bonus. My favorites were cookie dough, minty Oreo, and S'moreo (only available in pint size). The cones were incredible, someone knew what they were doing when they put a healthy amount of cinnamon in the mix...heavenly!! The hot fudge was also to die for and the whole experience felt like a special treat. I highly recommend for anyone who has allergies or a friend with allergies this will bring them so much joy! read more

Sweet Izzy is such a lovely little find. We originally stopped in because someone in our family has a dairy allergy, but it ended up being a treat for everyone. Everything is vegan, dairy-free, and soy-free, and you can tell there's so much thought behind what they make. We visited the Denver location and ordered several different ice cream creations to share, and I remember saying right then, "This may be some of the best ice cream I've ever had." And I don't have any allergies! Two years later, we're still talking about it, which is always the sign of something truly special. I can't wait to visit the Massachusetts location and enjoy it all over again. read more

I have a dairy allergy, and there sadly aren't many nondairy ice cream places around. A friend told me about Sweet Izzy's many moons ago. I live off cape, so I don't get down here often. I happen to be in Dennis for work, and noticed Sweet Izzy's was only 10 minutes away and knew I had to try them! When I arrived at the window, I was greeted with a friendly face. I got the hot fudge brownie Sundae. I haven't had a sundae like this since having to go off dairy, and it was delicious! I was debating ordering something else, because this was so so good. I can't wait to come back! read more

First off. A place with all vegan ice cream?? AND soft serve. AND my non plant based friends tried and loved their flavor choices. The man at the 'side window, same options as the front window but on the side" clearly loves making people happy serving them ice cream. And this was some of the best I have had. One of the flavors I miss the most since going plant based is coffee Oreo. And man it was soooo good. I got one scoop of that and one of mocha bro-eo and had no regrets. I only wished I lived closer so I could get pints of this at home. Five plus stars. read more

Thank you Sweet Izzy for bringing vegan ice cream to the Cape! This cute little ice cream shack is serving up all vegan and gluten free ice cream next to a trampoline area. You can definitely tell the ice cream is made with a coconut milk (everything has a coconutty flavor + whatever the flavor is) but if you enjoy that flavor you'll love this! I've tried both hard serve flavors and soft serve and I think I enjoy the soft serve slightly more (it's harder to find vegan soft serve) loaded up with toppings (esp. the raspberry sauce and choc chips!). The cannoli sundae on the "secret menu" is soooo good. I've never had to wait for more than a few minutes for ice cream even on busy summer evenings. Highly recommend :) read more

I reallyyyyyy wanted to like this place. I'm lactose intolerant, so finding a dairy-free soft serve ice cream option is a dream for me! Unfortunately, it just wasn't that good. I got a soft serve vanilla-chocolate twist with rainbow sprinkles. The texture of the soft serve was more icy than creamy, and it wasn't super flavorful. Also, the girl who made my ice cream put wayyyyyyy too many sprinkles on it. It was more sprinkles than ice cream. All-in-all I am disappointed. I also thought it was really overpriced too. Bummer. read more

Came here to try the GF ice cream. As my daughter is Celiac. She got the coffee Oreo. She wanted a GF cone but unfortunately there were none. Young girl said they ran out as it's been busy. But they would have more tommorrow! Girls were helpful. Offered other toppings. They did give her a sample of waffle cone chips which was so sweet. Will definitely be back! read more

Being Gluten and Dairy I'm mostly limited to just sorbets. So happy we found this place. Just had the vanilla and chocolate twist on a GF cone and it was delicious. Will definitely go back for more. read more

Got another twisted Izzy where you can pick 2 soft-serve flavors and 2 toppings. We did a medium of chocolate with Oreo and banana and it was almost $10 which is why I am going down a star. It is nice that they have a nondairy option for folks. The seating is right in front on picnic tables that have umbrellas to block the sun. Easy parking. Next to a trampoline park, so A great stop with kids. read more

Great service, very good soft serve ice cream. Wasn't looking for dairy or gluten free and thought it was delicious!

I was thrilled to find a non-dairy ice cream shop on the Cape with a variety of wonderful flavors but disappointed that all serving sizes seem to be the same despite the size you select and are charged. I don't mind paying for a large portion but expect to get what I order. I was not the only one that noticed. Please train staff to serve accordingly. read more

As someone who has a gluten and a dairy allergy, this place was a godsend. This was so delicious that I went back two days in a row. Maybe the best ice cream and soft serve I've ever had. I went to another famous ice cream spot in the area and my friends who do not have allergies agreed this place was leaps and bounds more delicious and flavorful. read more

I've been wanting to try Sweet Izzy ever since they opened! I follow them on Instagram and see their deliciousness every day. I finally took the hour and a half drive to the cape to try them out. I'm severely lactose intolerant lol and also have a soy allergy so this place was pretty much heaven to me! I ordered the brownie sundae which was absolutely delish! It was incredible to be able to order anything on the menu and know it wouldn't make me sick. I'll be back and I promise it won't take 5 more years this time. Thanks Sweet Izzy! read more

I was sceptical about vegan ice cream, but my nephew took us to Sweet Izzy for a treat. What a pleasant surprise! The coffee Oreo flavour was delsh! The vanilla soft serve had a bit of a coconut scent or taste and my daughter may have regretted her choice, but finished her serving. Tip: If you're ordering the peanut butter sauce, know that it's thick, so better to ask for it on the bottom of your cup so you can control the topping distribution to get your perfect bite. As a newly lactose intolerant person, Sweet Izzy's was a nice treat. read more

The best VEGAN, DAIRY-FREE ice cream around!!!! They have coconut milk, almond milk, and oat milk based flavors - YUM! The soft serve is airy & creamy while the hand packed ice creams are light & chock-full of mix-ins. Sweet Izzy also has a HUGE assortment of homemade vegan sauces & toppings! Their hot fudge & whipped cream are both deliciously coconut-y, while their fruit sauces add a subtle tartness to the sundae. I can't wait to go back and try every flavor and topping! read more

My daughter has dairy and nut allergies and was safely able to eat their soft serve ice cream. It was delicious! Would recommend!

This was not only the best ice cream I'd ever had, but their brownie sundae may have been the best dessert of my life! My boyfriend and I were in town and discovered this gem and were there 4 times in 3 days. We even had their waffle breakfast one of the days. All of the flavors we tried were perfection. Sweet but not so sweet you feel sick. We brought our non-vegan family and the kids and adults all loved it more than their usual dairy ice cream spot in the Cape. PLEASE franchise and bring Sweet Izzy all around the country! read more

A great option to traditional ice cream with a coconut base to many of the offerings. All flavors we tried were great. Staff always friendly here. We ordered and enjoyed our ice cream in less time than those still waiting in line at an inferior ice cream place down the street. read more

This place is doing it right!! They have a small hut for ice cream with a couple picnic tables outside. They usually only use one window but have two in case the lines get long. From a perspective of being gluten free, it is truly amazing to be able to eat Oreos and gram crackers in their very creamy ice cream. All of the staff are so kind and are very good with the orders. After looking for gluten free dairy free ice cream and finding Sweet Izzy in Harwich, I drove two hours including traffic to get there only to find out they have changed the ingredients. While online everywhere it says they use coconut milk and almond milk when I arrived the signage says it is now coconut and oat milk. The staff verified everything is made with both. That is crazy with all the varied intolerances people have. It is great that some celiacs and gluten sensitive people tolerate oats however many don't. Genetically it is very similar to wheat and some people with immune disfunction are told it probably is mistaken by the body as wheat. Please fix your online info that is really thoughtless! read more
