great bakery with lots of items to choose from. they're reasonably priced as well which is nice. we ordered the spinach and feta croissant, red velvet cupcake, and wedding cupcake. they warmed up the croissant before handing to you. it was delicious and the croissant itself was a bit sweet which balance between the salty filling. cupcakes were moist and delicious. i would've ordered more! they had lots of flavors to choose from as well. we definitely recommend coming here to satisfy that sweet craving! read more

Was nervous to order here as there weren't a ton of reviews and all cakes have to be custom ordered ahead of time (I'm used to walking into a bakery and picking something out). I'm so happy Sweet Henrietta's opened close to us. There's plenty of parking and it's easy to access. We rode our bikes to the store and ate outside. The interior is small but very cute! They sell local items in addition to their desserts which was nice to see. They offer items such as scones, muffins, croissants and a huge cinnamon roll (which we will have to try next time!) and cupcakes. We decided to go with a chocolate muffin and chocolate croissant. The chocolate muffin was one of the best one I've ever had. It was huge and extremely moist. It has a very rich chocolate flavor but not overly sweet, which we love. I would get this muffin again and again. The chocolate croissant was perfectly flakey and the kids loved the chocolate drizzle. We also ordered the ice latte with oat milk. It was delicious and so refreshing! We also met Pete, the owner, and he's so nice and friendly. We will definitely be back. read more

We have been ordering and picking up key lime pies for the past year. They were the best we ever had eaten. But last time we picked up a key lime and a coconut neither pie had any flavor. I stopped here with my sons on a Thursday afternoon during our spring break week. I'm vaccinated, my oldest son has had covid but my youngest has not and the town just west of this was way too crowded for our liking so we kept driving. I placed an online order for a custom vintage birthday cake for my daughters 21st birthday. I called the store on 3 different occasions, the day of pick up, to get a pick up time. The associate could not give me a definite answer, and gave me 3 different times to get there. Once I arrived, I had to call the store 5 times to let them know I was there, but they never answered the phone. On the 5th call (that was not answered) someone finally unlocked the door so I could come inside. I waited an additional 20 minutes inside the bakery before the cake was brought out and to much disappointment, was NOTHING like the picture I submitted when ordering. From the coloring to the piping to the design, the cake was just not what was expected. I left without a cake. I received a phone call later with an apology on the cake, however, I was also met numerous excuses. From medical emergencies, to cakes coming up missing, decorators not being there and running out of buttercream. I was told that the cake I ordered had Swiss buttercream, (they use American buttercream) therefore the color and piping would not be comparable to what I requested. At no point, during my email exchange to order the cake was that explained to me. I could have and would have requested a different cake, that they could have easily made, as I had them make a custom cake there last year (that decorator is no longer there). The entire experience was disheartening and disappointing. I was able to find a last minute cake at another small local bakery. read more

Sweet Henrietta's carrot cake is AMAZING! The cake itself was outstanding, and the cream cheese frosting was delicious. My dad requested a carrot cake for his 75th, and Sweet Henrietta did not disappoint! Our family ate that cake for 5 consecutive days (I might have ordered too much), and it stayed moist and fresh each day. We could not believe it! To top it all off, Kendra and her team were true heroes. My family was travelling from all over the place, meeting up in 30a to celebrate Dad's birthday. We were all running late, and no one was going to be at the rental to receive the cake delivery. Kendra was patient as she worked hard to communicate with me about delivery throughout the afternoon. When it came down to it, she let me pick up the cake after they closed for the night. Kendra saved Dad's birthday, and was absolutely gracious while rescuing me from my own bad planning. I'll never find another cake as delicious as Sweet Henrietta's carrot cake, and hope to get back to this part of Florida so I can enjoy more of their treats! read more

I contacted Sweet Henrietta's and the response was "what kind of pies do you want?" I said, "Chocolate Icebox, Chocolate Pecan and Bitter Cream." To make a long story short, they made exactly what I asked for and they were better than I expected. I found out that these guys make everything from scratch. And you can tell. So, for New Years, we ask them for something special for our family. OMG. We get a three layer cake with chocolate, cheese cake, chocolate. With chocolate icing. This is one of the best thing I have ever eaten. It was huge, it outlasted the quests. I found out they also make cinnamon rolls the size of your face and mini cup cakes the size of a quarter.
