Do you have a sweet tooth like me? Lol for some reason instead of ice cream I choose candy. I love bringing baby girl here and picking out candies. We got probably too much stuff it all came out to a little over $60. Outrageous and way less candy then when we can grab it ourselves. Inflation is the worst but to satisfy cravings and get some candy to brighten our day why not. The girls working here were really nice, it was pretty busy there. We picked out a bunch of candy to share and eat. Brianna was our check out girl and told me they have more of those viral peelerz candies so I went and grabbed the peach one. They had all the flavors I think, banana, peach, mango, idk if I saw the grape one but they had so many. They have so many fun candies to choose from for kids and adults. Never too old to have fun and eat some yummy candy :) Thank you for sweet service and delicious expensive candy. I recommend this candy store especially if you have a sweet tooth. One of the last remaining Sweet Factory shops I've seen in a long time. My boyfriend and I felt so nostalgic walking in here we decided to get a few of our young selves' favorites to share. So convenient that they didn't have any pricing signs up. So prior to the pandemic the candies were individual pieces for you to grab as much or as little as you want. I'm assuming for sanitary reasons. They have them wrapped in smaller packets for you to grab, so there is a minimum purchase per type you like. We got some jaw breakers, coke bottles, chocolate covered raisins and the strawberry sweet and sour belts. How much can it be?? Well SURPRISED the price is $19/pound and our candies added up to a little more than half a pound. It literally would have been cheaper to buy the full size containers of these candies elsewhere. Nostalgia is expensive. I understand that the business needs to charge enough to remain in operation, but this is way too much for me to consider coming back. read more

I barely step into the store, and no employee was in the floor. Out of nowhere one employee comes from the back. I didn't mind since I was seeing what items the store had. Employee gone , and blink of an eye 2 employees came out. Both employees were eye hawking me if I did something wrong. Umm...almost $11 for about three little bags of candy?! Really?! I used to go to Sweet Factory back in the day when there used to be a location at the Main Place Mall. Out of nostalgia, I was drawn into here when I was recently at the Brea Mall. Post COVID, candy is now pre-bagged in little bags -- so gone are the days of the tongs and scoops where you can pick the quantity that you want. The woman working couldn't have cared less if I were there or not. No greeting. Zero customer service. Kind of made me want to drop the candy and Ieave - but whatever. I got three little bags of candy -- two bags of sour belt and one of licorice. $10.55. Really?! Horrible never going again. Went with my boyfriend and got a small bag of candies. 18.02, what, guys lets think for a MOMENT. That same weight in Yogurtland would have been $7. They serve dairy which is expensive with a shelf time and expensive equipment. THIS is forever lasting sugar, it is a slap to the face. 5 stars for the sweets!! The mall is a slow dying breed, especially when your favorite stores start closing left and right! I was losing faith in the malls when Aeropostale closed in the malls (including this one). The malls were letting me down and I found myself avoiding it like the plague LOL! A few weeks ago my sister and I started talking about making a trip to Sweet Factory since it has been ages! We avoid the malls on weekends and holidays, so we knew it was going to be on a weekday. Fast forward to this past week and we finally got the chance!! First off, a wonderful female employee greeted us right away and gave us a basket since we came to stock up! We weren't playing! I loved how she took our bags and left them at the counter already weighed out so we could continue to go nuts with our candy LOL. AND... if you have AAA you get a 10% discount off your bill! Bonus! Came in on my break so I could stop by and get some sweets. The young cashier did not even look up to greet me or the family that walked in after me. When I was being rang up, I asked if they have a mall employee discount (when I rudely cut off by the worker without even finishing my sentence) and she said they didn't. I always used to come by even before they moved stores and they did offer a mall employee discount, don't know what happened to that. It's fine if they don't have it anymore, but I know this location doesn't have the best track record of having nice employees. read more

The other day I came in here and found something really useful - Chocolate covered espresso beans!! They charged me $15 for a few pieces of taffy and Starburst. Way overpriced, but I knew this going in so whatever, it was convenient. However, when I got to my car, I tried a piece of the taffy and it was so bad I had to spit it out. I went back to get a refund or store credit or something and they said they could not give me a refund because it was food that I bought and preceeded to rudely explain to me the concept of selling and returning food. I spoke to a manager who even more rudely told me that I could talk to whoever I wanted to in the mall, but there was no way she was ever going to give me my money back. Don't go here! Overpriced and bad candy! Just find a local Target or something, I promise you'll be happier, and the staff won't be nearly as rude! read more

Wonderful way to have a different taste for every mouthful, and not spend too much money.

There's a few times when I feel complaining is worth my time. And this is one of those times. I walk in purchase a triple power push pop for my daughter left the store to have her open it and one of the push ups is broken I'm back in the store not 2 min later to ask for a exchange. The same cashier who I bought it from which apparently cannot make that type of decision. Are you freakin kidding me. With no manager on site I pay for an overpriced broken pop. I work at the mall and go to this place a lot. Mall employees get a small discount, so I went to pay for my stuff and I tell the girl that I'm an employee and I guess she didn't hear me . Anyway she doesnt apply the discount and I ask her if they don't do that anymote. She looks at me and said, "oh did you say you were an employee? Well it's only 5%...." Overpriced. I spent $16 on a pound of of candy here then went to Winco Foods, which sells bulk foods including candy, and it was $2-$8/lb. depending on the candy. Won't go here again unless there is absolutely no way I cannot find the candy I want in another place. read more
