Unfortunately, they place all the muffins, pies and sweet treats right next to the register, which is evil. So your brain goes: Will the fresh juice I am about to have somehow negate that slice of pumpkin pie? The answer is obviously no but wouldn't that be nice. Why doesn't anybody place blood sausage or chopped liver next to the register?
