There were variety of small stains and spots all over and one larger dirt spot from a naughty dog. The previous owners of my house had not had this carpet professionally cleaned in years, so overall there was a tinge of grey all over as well. A team of two men worked on my living room - they put up a temporary door to keep the heat in (it was snowing out!) which kept me from having to turn up the heat, and they used protective booties on their shoes when walking around. They answered all of my questions and described everything to me in detail - it is quite the process and involves a variety of tools! I appreciated the time they took to go over spots multiple times and treat areas that needed more attention. They went around the exterior of the room on their hands and knees with a brush making sure the edges of the carpet were clean and fluffed. The process they used seemed efficient and thorough. They treated the rug, spot treated areas in need, steamed the entire area (it was basically a sauna in the room!), sucked the carpets dry, fluffed the carpets, and treated the entire area with the Scotch Guard product that I wanted (I may have missed a step or two, but that is what I remember). I qualified for their first time customer discount, and overall the price for the cleaning was just right - affordable and upfront. They are a paperless company, so they sent me my receipt via email - which is better for the environment and is great for receipt/record keeping. I am actually planning on bringing an area rug to their HQ to have that cleaned as well later this summer. They had texted me the day before to confirm the booking which was great, but Friday comes it's 12pm and I get a text that they are on the way. I was confused and in the middle of work - had immediately asked why the deviation from previously agreed 2pm, asked for an ETA so I could plan when to leave and never got a response. I ended up going over to the apartment, called the person who then told me it would still be about 20 minutes till showing up. At this point, I was already pretty irritated. When they arrived it was fine - showed the 2 cleaners where to park and helped them bring some tools up the entrance stairs. They finished up and locked the door behind them no problem. I ended up paying the price I was estimated which was great so no surprises. When I went back to the place to check, I noticed the same smudged footprints from our movers, debris, straight up dirt on the ground and product streaks on the counters and toilet. The fridge and microwave which did need their focus, were spotless. I texted the person I had communicated with and asked if they even cleaned the floors with pictures attached. She did quickly remedy this by having a cleaner return in the morning to do the floor. Overall, I am grateful for the work they did and the price I paid. But between the scheduling mixup and the floors being missed, I just don't think I'd be able to hire them again. Just be careful if you book them!
