Before we checked out, I dipped over to the coffee counter to get some caffeine before we entered our sugar-coma. I asked for a dark roast coffee and the manager on duty went to the back just to make sure she was able to get me a dark-roast. It was really cool that she went out of her way when she could have just said they were out and gotten me a light-roast. The sweets were great and the service made them all-the-better. Within a day or two they responded, and I paid the balance, which was very reasonably priced. The week of the event, I asked for confirmation for my order via email - that was seamless. When picking the cakes up, they were well packaged. Stiff board, vented box (so the icing didn't run), and decorated cakes exactly like I had ordered. We cut into the cakes the next day - and they were SO fresh. I ordered one in marble and one in white/vanilla. It was like they had just been baked. Thank you for making our events memorable. We will definitely use again. Tip for other people: Always communicate weeks or months early for your expectations and you should be pleased (May and December are very busy months for bakeries).
