I want to like this bakery so much, but twice it has fallen very short. Why?…read more I'd read a review about cakes--this must have been a comment about custom cakes because there were no cakes, cupcakes or anything like that there In fact, their total inventory included a few donuts, scones and cookies. I bought a few of each and none tasted particularly fresh (my visits have been in the afternoon) The second time the person at the counter was super friendly, so this is a plus. I do not believe I've met the owner. I'd be hard pressed to go back--just nothing really here to buy.

Lol. The sign is small and it is in a lot with other businesses. They have coffee and various specialty drinks. They make custom cakes, cupcakes, and then have an assortment of pastries. I believe each week she has a different assortment of pastries available. I ordered a variety of donuts, chocolate pecan scones, a monster cookie, and she had two different kinds of cinnamon rolls. The monster cookie was delicious (there was only one left when I was there unfortunately). The chocolate pecan scones were awesome! There was an iced cinnamon roll and a maple icing cinnamon roll. I LOVED both the cinnamon rolls. They were both very soft and just right. I'm not a huge donut person but the donuts were very good! Stop and try this place!

Updating my last review…read more I'm part of the rewards program They have this one pastry that's under four dollars that has around 300 cal in it. It's called the very very pastry. It's a good value and it tastes really good. And as far as pastries go, I don't feel like it's excessively sweet or color. You don't feel guilty eating it. So when I got the bing on my phone showing they had a St. Patrick's Day special buy a drink at a pastry. I headed that way. The young lady that works there is always very kind She'll take good care of you She said I could pick out any pastry that you wanted from the case didn't matter really the price as long as it was in the sandwich or a piece of cake so without looking at the price, I ordered an Irish Creme. Latte I went to go pick up my pastry. I settled on a strawberry custard pastry Came back and when she told me my total of just under nine dollars, I nearly died because that meant my coffee was nine dollars. Again that's my fault. I didn't read the sign. I didn't look at the price. I just assumed that no coffee would be in nine dollars. Lol. Lesson learned read their signs.!!! Ha ha. She was very sweet. She offered to change it out, which I took two sips of it and took her up on it as I hated it bwhy? Personal preference. It was just too sweet (for me) and tasted like a mocha. I asked her to make me a regular latte with steam milk. I went over to the bar bar, added some cinnamon to the top of it. And honestly, it tasted great for coffee that comes from a machine where you just press the button. I went home and I ate my pastry, which was delicious I highly recommend any of the pastries that have that custard. Again it just is very light tasting and it's usually paired with fruit and the calories normally are under 400 cal for something like that. As a little occasional sweet treat, I guess I do like it they definitely have nailed the café vibe the black-and-white checkered floor they keep meticulously clean Their little chairs that they have our darling and again I already have stated that I love their patio I think it's a nice family that runs this Despite it being a chain, they are local family. They treat their customers really nicely I will keep occasionally coming back Thank you for changing out my coffee -That was very much appreciated

The savory kolaches were *IT*. Both the Pepperoni and the Smoked Sausage/Jalapeño/Cheese were 5 star in equal parts to the fillings and the soft dough that surrounded them. The two sweet kolaches (strawberry and cream cheese) featured the same dough, but the fillings weren't as ample or satisfying as the savory ones. Still 4 stars. Breaking the tie was how absolutely kind and engaging the owner is. He checked in with us after we dined in their upstairs space. He gave us a little insight into his process and shared the tip to call in or order online to see what's available that day. Doing so would also help you avoid a particular kolache selling out if you really had your eye on one.
