A family friend invited me to Zen out with her and my Mom at the Salt Cave and I was so excited! First of all I knew I needed to relax and I knew the private session for us would be what we all needed to heal so much we're all dealing with. Once I entered Casey greeted us kindly. Such a warm bright smile. I love walking in here the aura is so Zen and the vibes are just perfect. They have stuff all around you can buy- stones, salt items, shirts, jewelry. There was just so much to look at. To the Cave! Casey made sure we got into our zero gravity chairs easily as they can be tricky. But once settled in the cave with our blanket (they provide) and all set in the chairs seated back and relaxed it was time for Zen. My mom and our family friend were immediately relaxed it did take me some time as I have a lot going on in my mind. But the cave does a short guided meditation and then the rest was just relaxing sounds. I can't explain the calmness this cave brings. It like forces you to relax. Your mind and body are like being forced to let go of all the pain and hurt. It's so hard to explain you just have to try it for yourself. The salt cave you must wear white or light colored socks. They have cubbies for your shoes in the back. The rocks do hurt your feet but once you're in your seat you're perfectly fine. The sessions are also private. So whether it's 1 person for I think 8 max it's private for you and your group which I love.I also found out they do massages in there as well per request, and yoga! I'm for sure going to do a massage in there! I love it and I'll be back a few more times before I move.

It took a while to really get into the guided imagery/zero gravity chair and become zen but I eventually got there! Walked out of there feeling so much lighter and more relaxed. Hung out in the rest/beverage and snack lounge for a while. Loved the games, books, oracle cards and tarot decks. Will absolutely be back again. I needed some peace in my life and Saltitude absolutely provided this. So greatful to my friend for this gift!

The 60 minute float was the perfect amount of time for me. I did fall asleep at some point which was nice. I was super sleepy and relaxed for the rest of the day. The float tank also does a great job of relieving minor aches and pains because you can stretch with no weight on your joints. I wish that I had thought to turn the lights off in the room before I started, because there was a little bit of light seeping through the cracks of the float tank. You can have the option to turn the lights and spa music in the tank on or off. My skin was super soft afterwards because of the epsom salt, but you might want to plan to do this on a day when you don't have any plans afterwards, because my hair was kind of funky for a while afterwards. The person at the counter was really friendly and did an excellent job of explaining everything. They provide a towel, q-tips, ear plugs, and anything you might need. The cost was $55 for one hour as a new customer. Definitely hoping to come back here and I've been recommending it to everyone!

Elizabeth asks if you have any areas that need attention before you start and I had been having some trouble with my hip flexor so she worked on it and I have had no problems with it since then. Ideal for an hour or two! of relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle that generally consumes Main Street. And the therapists here are amazing. Lara, who also owns the studio, is brilliant. She worked my shoulder after months of stress left me in a ton of pain. I wish I had gone to see her sooner - trust me, I will not be making that mistake again. I booked a second appointment BEFORE I left. What I really enjoyed about WHW though was its uniqueness. I hate those day spas that try to be something they're not. The service feels cheap (yet sooo expensive). You know, with the cookie-cutter sounds of the Amazon playing in the background and you end up worse off than when you arrived? WHW is not that. It's relaxing, its cozy and the staff know what they're doing. Treat yourself friends! Oh, and you're welcome!

Their prices are very reasonable for boutique fitness which is much appreciated. I usually go to the 6am class, so parking is very easy on Main Street then. I've only been to Heather's classes (she is the owner) and they have been lovely (well, I feel lovely afterwards, but die internally during the whole class while giving myself pep talks that I can do it). I've tried the Heated Power Yoga and the Heated Sculpt and Flow. Both challenging! If you are more of a yoga pro, you will definitely love the class as well. Very happy to have Vibe On Main so close by!

The Providence Zen Center is an incredible, healing place. I stayed there for a month in 2022 and…read moreit was a transformative experience. Everyone in the community is so incredibly kind. The mission of the Providence Zen Center is just simply to focus on compassion and practice meditation. That's it. And if by being more compassionate, learning to be more in the moment, learning to be focused and in control of our minds can help make the world a better place and help others, then heck yeah I'm going to keep doing that! I truly believe that people should at least visit the Providence Zen Center once, either on Wednesday nights at 5:30pm for dinner and meditation instruction and practice, or come check out the Sunday morning meditation instruction/practice at 9:00am and the Dharma (wisdom) talk led by a Dharma Teacher at 10:45am. The grounds are beautiful (there is a LOT of space to wander), the people are awesome, and they're even working on doing organic farming! I helped take care of plants when I stayed there. They've been selling their homegrown vegetables in farmer's markets after harvesting. The goodness they put into the local and greater community is immeasurable! It's a nonprofit organization too, so if you donate anything, it's tax-deductible. I sincerely hope that the Providence Zen Center can thrive but that can only happen if people continue to visit and join practice! So if you're looking for a place to grow your mindfulness, your compassion, and your meditation practice, look no further, this is the place for you :)
