The customer service is great given the fact that customers come in every five minutes asking for the swatch-omega watch. The one star is for the purchase of the Moonswatch collection. I've been falling in line everyday to get the watch. I'm okay with it. They want to control the crowd (if this is really the reason) inside the store. Today, Sunday 12/18/22, I know when the UPS driver delivers so by noon the lines started to form. I was in line at 11:15. I was the first in line so I was called in at 12:00. So all along they had the watches delivered yet they let u wait for almost an hour outside. Their system is flawed. Instead of just announcing what watches they have in order for customer not to waste their time standing in line, they let you go in one by one. There are three or four sales people yet they line you up outside and take one customer at a time. To wait for an hour only for them not to even have the watch you want. Again, tell people in line what you have so that people can do their other shopping instead of falling in line for nothing!!! Do better! read more

Brought two swatch watches needing new batteries in and the friendly manager installed two batteries with cheerful willingness. I went into this Swatch to get a new watch of mine resized (online order) and to buy a Fifty Fathoms collection watch. I waited my turn in like like everyone else as they were letting only one party in a time, I assume to minimize competition/issues for the limited quantity watches. Each group got about 15-20 minutes inside alone with the sales people. I went in with a friend of mine and started with my watch resizing. Only about 3 minutes later, they let another group into the store. After my watch resize I went to the register and let them know which watch I wanted to buy after looking at them. The gentlemen at the register and lady helping me proceeded to tell me that they were going to sell the watch to the group after me because I was too slow (I was there for less than 10 mins) and they didn't think I would actually buy (I am on the younger side, 18 y/o and they did not take me seriously). I proceeded to tell the man that it was unfair that every other customer go the opportunity to have a watch of their choice based on the availability at time they got in line (as it is for all of their watch drops, I have gone to multiple). At the end of the day, the nice couple buying the watch let me have it as I was there first but as I went to check out, the two employees could not stop reminding me that I "only have 14 days to return" , I "can't use apple pay" , and I "can't wear it or anything WHEN I return it." They told me these things many times as to deter me from my planned purchase or to try to prove a point that I couldn't buy it. I have been a Swatch consumer for many many years (I have over 10 watches from all different collections) and was thoroughly dissatisfied today with the service as it was objectively ageist and I was not treated like any other customer. read more

Came in to take a look around and see the Omega watches in person- salesperson quite literally threw us out saying that our presence was offputting to other customers and to stop "pretending to be shopping". I have an obsession with Swatch watches. I hope this location is here to stay. What I love about swatch watches is that the battery replacement is good for a lifetime. This is one of the best customer service you can give your valued customers. Every time i walk into this store i get greeted by all their staff. Everyone is so friendly and patient. I love Swatch! I've loved their fun, colorful watches since I was in high school. I bought the blue one I currently have on my way to Barcelona three years ago as I heard it's better to have a watch to check the time instead of checking your phone and making your phone susceptible to being stolen. So a Swatch it was! It was reasonably priced and I loved the color as it would go with lots of outfits (I use it mostly for jobs where I'm out on the sales or restaurant floor where I can't check my phone constantly for the time). And the best thing about Swatches is that they replace the watch battery for free! Love this!! Plus, the little band that holds the extra part of the band down so it doesn't flap around was replaced for free also. Thank you! read more

I was in town for the week, and on the hunt for the elusive moonswatch. Teasing you at the front of the store is a glass case showcasing the full run of different colored moonswatches. You can look, but no touchy! I was able to visit the store three times in the week to see if they had any stock of the watches. First visit no luck, no restock. Second try in the middle of the week I walk in and what do I see, a customer being rung up for the last moonswatch, rats I was too late! Third time just in the knick of time, I was able to score one! Swatch watches are so loud, and the 800 customer service is terrible. Took me 10 mins after receiving watch to realize the loud ticking was disruptive, distracting to others, and annoying. They won't let me return or exchange it for anything less noisy. read more

Purchased a watch for my wife for Mother's Day as a surprise gift. The watch never fit right, but she wanted to try it out before deciding to return it. However, we didn't watch the calendar and when we decided to return it and it was a couple days past the return date of 30 days. OK, so anything you spend over $30 for a watch is jewelry because a cheap plastic Timex or Casio keeps nearly perfect time (I'm old enough to remember when you had to spend hundreds of dollars to buy accuracy in a wristwatch). I've always liked Swatches because you can easily replace the battery yourself--just use a coin to open a large plug on the back, shake out the old battery and drop in a new one from Walgreen's. One problem with Swatches is that you can't replace a Swatch band with anything other than a Swatch-branded one. There are notches where the band attaches to the watch so you MUST buy a band unique to Swatch. The leather band on mine was getting seedy and it was always a bit too small, so I decided to replace the leather band with a stainless steel one which the sales person installed for me. Turned out that the steel band was much too large, so I went back to the Swatch Store the next day (today) and the nice, young sales technician removed a link--he was very friendly and eager to help. It's not as easy to find Swatches as it was in the past--Macy's had a Swatch section years ago, but that's gone. And when I was recently in the Palm Springs area, I couldn't find a Swatch store anywhere. Fortunately, here in San Francisco, there's and excellent Swatch Store (corner of Grant & Geary) with nice people running it. Amar helped me purchase this watch. It cost about 130.00$ I was only hoping to spend between 70-90$ but this watch was my favorite. I tried on at least six or seven different watches. Amar patiently assisted me. I can be a picky shopper so I appreciated that. The store is in the heart of the Union Square shopping district. Parking can be a pain but I was able to find free street parking (it was a holiday). Amar says that Swatch will replace the battery for free. Also they can refinish the face of the watch for free any time. That's a great deal. I needed something classy to wear as I am a piano teacher. It is rude to pull out a cell phone and check the time during my lessons. With this watch I can casually glance at it without being too distracted. Thanks Amar and thank you Swatch. I took off one star because I wanted more classy watches in the 70-90$ price range. But maybe that is Swatch the company's fault. Not the store. read more

Only giving 4 stars due to the price but they do have a 2 year warranty & my watch is accurate. Prefer the silicone band to original rubber band that came with my watch because the silicone band is more soft. All in all, I'm a satisfied customer. 5 stars for their service. I went there wanting to buy a nice Skin Swatch watch without being sure of exactly which style i wanted it. So i spent almost 2 hours at that tiny store to try on different watches. The staff was very very friendly and patient, they offered the free service of links removal hence my tiny wrist wouldn't fit in with most of the watches. The salesperson tried to adjust the bracelet twice or three times until the length reached my satisfaction, I am very happy with my purchase, and most likely I will return to this location if I need to buy another nice watch! read more

Their manager Peter needs to go through more customer service training. I completely understand the time period we live in and that his store probably gets a lot of homeless going in and bothering the staff and I'm sure, tons of theft. I am not homeless nor was I dressed in a way that would lead him to believe I was anyone but a normal customer. Upon entering Peter in an aggressive tone of voice told me to sanitize my hands before coming further into the store. Again, I know the time we are living in and I am a manager in sales myself, but that is not how you speak to a customer. After telling him I felt his greeting, which was not a greeting, but a demand, was aggressive, he proceeded to tell me "I am sorry you felt that way". At first I was going to let it go, but when I left, he didn't feel the need to hide his disdain for me in his tone of voice when he said to "have a good day". I went into the store to buy two watches with neon coloring to wear with an outfit I will wear just once. Clearly someone was telling me that maybe I shouldn't spend so frivolously or that I just shouldn't purchase from Swatch. What a great staff!!! They went above and beyond today's service standards. They replaced the battery in my 1988 swatch and gave me useful tips to keep my vintage swatches running. They buffed the scratches and were so good at explaining sistem51 I walked out with little shopping bag with my own new one. I didn't feel pressured just welcomed. I went to swatch several times to look at the same 2-3 watches and the employees were still happy to have me here. I've never owned a nice watch before I bought my automatic here, so I really had to know what I wanted completely. Although I get anxious when an employee would be quick to ask if I needed assistance, these last few times were actually pretty good because they would just let me browse if I didn't need anything. A drawback was that I didn't receive as much background knowledge about some watches I was interested in as much as I wanted. Additionally, when I did ask some questions, only some employees would be knowledgeable enough to answer technical questions or even mention part of the mechanics that would make a watch memorable. I still purchased my automatic because I loved it and got the links adjusted free and onsite. The employee working with me that time was really careful about the adjustment with measuring and options such as which links to remove- I have small wrists and hovered between removing 4-6 (exclusive) links. I settled with 4 links. A downside was that she didn't readjust the clasp as well. My friend adjusted the rest so I was okay. As I left, I ran into Oliver, who was pretty knowledgeable and into the swatches. He told me that another way to know how much to wind my automatic other than counting the revolutions was to see if the coil in my automatic tightened all the way. Not something I would've noticed for a while. It was good. I'll most likely pop by again for some cleaning or buffing or something. Note: I purchased the Uncle Charly for $180. read more

Remember when this place used to be fun? So I went into swatch a week ago to check out what new watches they have and I realized that there is an entire new staff working at this location. ( new management maybe?) Anyway this leads me into why I am giving a one star review vs my old 5 star review. Part of why I liked to come into this location was the old staff, they were nice, helpful and fun to be around. The new staff doesn't seem to know as much product knowledge and history of the product. They are also very very pushy now. When I walked up to the store one person was standing outside with a tray of watches and another swarmed me once I got into the store. I told them I was just looking and they would not leave me alone. It got very old fast, so I left. Luckily there are now two other swatch locations in the area (overkill maybe?) that I can go to. The mall one is cool now that they have their act together and the one in macys has watches that the other two locations do not, plus they leave you alone unless you actually need help. Anyway, this made me sad, I used to love going to the geary swatch but I don't think that I will be anymore. read more

would honestly give it 0 rating. had the most horrible and disrespectful experience with one of the male workers. asked to inquire about the swatch omega watch and he told me to look at the display, i asked to see it in person as one does when making an expensive purchase but he was aggressive, and raising his voice just because i had a lot of questions, and did not offer me any help. meanwhile the white male customer before me, the worker so gladly and patiently helped and allowed to examine the watch. you can't tell me this isnt because of the fact that im a woman of color. it is simply a microaggression i will not let slide. the huge difference by how he treated me and the white male customer is astonishing. i felt so disrespected and offended. he should NOT be working customer service at all. that is NOT how you speak to your customers. i asked someone else who gave a 1 star rating and they said the same exact thing about the SAME guy. absolutely horrific experience. you need to train your workers and he needs to gets fired and brought up to HR. read more

I have been to this place about 10 times .. battery change, new strap, free strap repair, etc and they have never ever disappointed me one bit.
