They told me that the ring needed another coat of rhodium because the white gold was starting to yellow a bit. They offered to fix the prong, do the rhodium, and clean the whole thing up in the process, for $145. My ring looks great! I don't know how much of the cost was prong vs rhodium, but I was happy with the results and will go back for further service since my usual dude retired.

When I asked for it to be cleaned they saw it as another job and wanted to charge me an additional fee! The girl behind the counter first said she couldn't see the glue that was clearly there and then followed up with "when you work with glue it smears". When I said "yes it can smear but then you clean it" she said they would clean it for an additional fee. They charged me $51.75 for crappy workmanship and a battery change. Ridiculous! They get 1 star for properly changing out the battery.

I contacted the store and they suggested I mail it back (I don't live in Quebec), it would be replaced, and I would be responsible for $15 shipping back to me. The ring was just over $100 + tax so with shipping ($25 to get it there and $15 back) it would have cost me about 30% of the cost of the ring to have it replaced. I completely understand it is up to me to get the ring to them, but I would have though that if a stone fell out after 5 days, they would have at least covered the shipping back. I have spent hundreds of dollars at the store and this has made me rethink future purchases as I am not confident they will stand behind the quality of their products.
