They don't operate with heavy marketing budgets, over the top aesthetics like say Tiffany's or Birks so they do not pass on the extra fluff to the customers. I'm a price conscious customer but I will spend more on quality products AND quality people/service. We had looked at many options in Montreal for engagement ring and later on wedding bands. We were impressed how design and quality was up to par and sometimes exceeded leadings competitors, whilst often at a significantly lower cost. I guess my finger got smaller because it kept slipping off recently. Long story short, I dropped in and the incredibly sweet owner went above and beyond to find someone willing to do the job correctly. I waited 2 weeks which is nothing considering he went to 3 different sources to get the work done right. He is very helpful his prices are really fair and you know your being taken care of by someone who is passionate about his work, and his clients ,even those right off the street. BTW I was referred to his shop by friends who had a great experience getting a watch fixed, he has really nice stuff his shop as well, so yelpers be sure to visit him when you need anything jewelry related.

This is a cute little shop on Rue Mont Royal, in the heart of the plateau, selling jewelry, cards, stickers, mugs, t-shirts, tea towels, mugs, and other fun gifts made by local artists and reasonably priced. I stop by several times each year and always find something delightful.
