I had gotten a quote from another glass place and it was nearly three times the amount Lyndale Glass did it for....and they did a stellar job! The glass they cut matched my template perfectly....I received a call telling me I could pick up the glass on the day they said it would be finished....and they even loaded it into my car for me. I had two screens on my windows in my home that both needed an overhaul, I was so sick of looking…read moreat them. I brought them into Lyndale Glass and found out they could just put new screens on my old frames. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. She gave me a quote and said it would be two weeks until they could get to them. Less than a week later they called me and said the screens were ready, and the price was under the quote, how often does that happen these days? I am so happy with my window screens, I am going to bring them two more next month. We have also had Lyndale Glass replace windows in our home in the past and they did a fantastic job. If you have ugly, torn window screens on your house I would highly recommend taking them to Lyndale Glass, it's an inexpensive home improvement project.

Not that I planned to do that anyway...then asked what would be an appropriate lead time to schedule a visit. Then she brusquely pointed at the business card holder saying...'Take a card'...like take a number.. And said 'You will have to speak with the manager about that'. They acted like they did not want my business or maybe they were running interference for the manager?who knows?. I will say contacting Adam the Manager was a much better experience. He explained how motorcoach windows, in order to slide freely have no sealing. The glass panel simply rests in the slide so it can be moved back & forth as you open & close the windows. Leakage might be occurring due to blocked drainage slits at bottom of window so be sure to clean those out.... Adam spent several minutes giving me lots of good info...things that I should check off 1st before scheduling an appointment to bring my motorcoach in for window glass issues. As a Senior RV'er I appreciate the time & expertise Adam took on the phone to speak with me. I will make sure I bring my motorcoach to Louis Glass in the future because these days good CUSTOMER SERVICE is hard to find. P.S. The mobile RV repair guy also installed plastic water diverters that extend off the end of the roof gutters. Window glass water leak problem solved!

I don't remember the name of the gentleman I spoke to at Stirling Glass, but he verbally walked me through how to fix this problem and then suggested I search YouTube for some videos on the repair. After the phone call and watching a video or two, I attempted the repair myself and it took me less than 30 mins to fix this. This is clearly a professional and courteous operation if they were willing to help me repair the window over the phone rather than send someone out to do it and charge me for the service. After inspecting my window he told me it couldn't be repaired and that we had to buy new windows. I trusted that he was providing expert advice and started getting quotes for new windows. Luckily I decided to do a little research because everything else was fine with the windows, so instead, now I'm replacing the coils on my windows myself. His expert advise was not only a waste of money for a visit but nearly caused me to replace windows at a greatly increased cost and waste.

We had a problem with my entry door with one of the new windows that was installed next to it. The trim out to tie in the 2 components was not aesthetically correct. Mike and I worked out a solution that was agreeable which included my buying a new entry door and frame. I got the single bore digital lock to install on the door and delivered it to the shop and notified everyone involved that it is the lock to bore the door for, weeks before the door was machined. I received the door with a double bore? I called Mike and he said "We are not doing one more thing for you". "Do you want everything for free?" Along with some other insults. He was defensive, didn't own the mistake, defiant, combative, abrasive and indignant.

Two weeks later I get a call from Kevin saying "oh, I was looking on my desk and I saw your order was sitting there." They had been waiting for a document and it took him two weeks to realize he didn't have it (though I had sent it within minutes of getting off the phone with him). He then laughed when I asked why he felt it was appropriate to just let an order sit for two weeks on his desk. So I asked if there was anything he could do (maybe call the manufacturer) to speed the process up since he just wasted two weeks when he KNEW my contractor was planning things around these doors and windows being delivered. Then once the products arrived he called 3-4 times while I was working so I couldn't answer. I asked my husband to call him to see what the emergency was. He had been calling asking for the delivery address and then laughed when my husband called to say "oh, nevermind, it was in the file." And then we move on to delivery. What a joke. They never call back and when they do, though the delivery address is literally less than a mile from them, they only offer two days a week and the guy in charge of that doesn't call back, so better hope you catch him when you call. And when we did finally get it scheduled, they said "oh, you need to have people there to help us unload" I have NEVER had a company tell me that. It seems like a HUGE liability on their part, if someone gets hurt helping them unload a French door, that's not great for their business. If you've gotten this far, do yourself a favor and literally order from anyone but this business. They clearly give exactly ZERO f*%#ks about customers and though they seem like the only game in town, you can order from DUNN or other retailers. ANYONE would be better than dealing with this.
