We called them out to fix it several times before and after the warranty expired. After it expired they charged around $100. Each time. The technician would "adjust" the door and say it would be fine now. Within a few months the same thing would happen. The last time we requested the owner come out. He did the same "adjustment" was very unapologetic and billed us around $100!! It still didn't work right. We are finally buying another opener. Terrible customer service! They don't stand behind their product. Don't use them.

I was told by multiple people that damage in one of my garage door panels couldn't be repaired. To…read moremake matters worse, that style of door has been discontinued and I was faced with having to replace the entire door and since I have matching doors, I would have to replace both which would cost thousands. I found Swanson Garage Doors on Yelp and decided to call to confirm what I had been told. Jerry was quick to respond and showed up at the scheduled time. He said the panel could be repaired and quickly took care of the repair. He also serviced both doors and one opener to make sure they were working properly. I couldn't be happier with Jerry's work and he saved us a lot of money.

After firing Kustom U.S., I hired Ethan Home to upgrade my kitchen after a water leak. Although I…read morewas out of town when the work was performed, the work done by Milt and crew was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely hire them again. Conversely, the company I fired, Kustom U.S., will never set foot in my home again due to multiple issues. This was for a home located in Bellingham, Washington.

We had Milt and his team renovate two bathrooms and we have a very high bar for quality. We had…read moretaken a very long time to choose all aspects of these rooms and once we were ready to go Milt helped us meet the challenge. We changed an old tub for a wonderful upgrade, expanded the shower area, with high-end glass, added excellent tile work throughout (he has a great tile guy), changed counter-tops, and even moved a wall of 50 year old cedar panels to extend an existing wall. Were there hiccups along the way, sure. But now, several years later we are thrilled to use these rooms every day. We work at home and the lifestyle enhancement has been profound. Truth be told we did a good deal of research before and chose well with our components and visual choices. The paint work was superb (he has a great paint team too). The team had an amusing cast of characters and I enjoyed them. They took tremendous care to keep the spaces (bedroom next to the bath) absolutely clean and protected. It took a while with delays and fixes but now all I can say is we really appreciate all the effort that went in and Milt's good spirit to get it right. If you want a successful project like we experienced i'd say you might need to be an engaged partner in the process, that's what I did and the results speak for themselves.

Looked at our door, put some lubricant on the tracks and we were back in business. He wouldn't take any payment for the house call. Two years later our door stopped working again. This time he determined it was a critical problem and helped us buy a new lifter from Sears, calling them for us. He came back the next day and did the installation for a VERY reasonable price. What a pleasure to have a hard working professional right here in our neighborhood. I recommend him for ANY garage door work! He even programmed our car and gave us a little lesson on using the door's features so we did not have to read the manual!
