One of our bathroom doors was installed prior to new carpeting being laid down. The height of the carpet made shutting the door a problem and it it sustained damage. I sent out a project request to replace the bathroom door and Chase (Handymax) responded. Chase was the only business that offered to fix the door without replacing it, which saved us hundreds of dollars. Chase was punctual and completed the work in the exact amount of time he quoted. He was also sent me pictures of various door handles when he went to the hardware store to purchase one. Would highly recommend this company for all small projects! read more

Awesome service. Great handyman who went the extra mile. Pricing was under the going rate.

Stop what you're doing and hire him. I got quote from about a dozen different folks and all of them were quoting 2-4 hours for my project. Mark came out here and did everything incredibly quickly in just 1 hour. I was absolutely astounded by the quality of work he did in the amount of time he did it in. Mark is living proof that you can do something quickly and still do it well. What really blew me away was how he was willing to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it and what tools he was doing it with. I'm very new to home ownership and really have little idea what I'm doing (which is why I needed Mark's help to begin with!), so it was refreshing to have someone so willing to entertain my novice-level questions about things that are no doubt old hat to Mark. I absolutely will be hiring Mark again and you should hire him too. read more

I was hesitant at first because he changed per hour. He is very experience, knowledgeable, fast and honest. Great guy, highly recommended.

Mark and his crew are fabulous. Trust him completely. Excellent, throughly, professional service from Start to finish... could not ask for any better. You will be sooo glad you went with Handymax. Repaired grout in bathroom, wiring issues, insulation issue in basement, wall Plastering, patches on concert walkway. Thank you!! read more

Superb professional highest quality service at a very fair price! Mark and his team restored my bathroom and laundry room that had been extensively water damaged. They had to replace most of the drywall, all the flooring, the shower wall, reinstall the toilet and vanity and repaint everything. All work was of the highest standard and done on time (2 days) and on budget. They also extensively cleaned up after the work was done. Don't waste time with anyone else! Call Handymax! read more

We needed a fence repaired and a small fence/gate made. When they noticed other issues, they were brought to our attention with recommendations (which were very practical). They performed their job admirably and the cost was reasonable. read more

Had 3 fence posts leaning after a windy night, called handymax, they showed up, replaced them quickly and with great quality, with details matching my existing fence, and cost is also very reasonable. Very professional crew, polite and answers questions patiently. read more

We needed a sturdy 6x6x3 toolshed built next to our home, which is in a high-wind area and on sloping ground. Chase was excellent from beginning to end. He was very transparent upfront on costs, provided two options regarding materials, and broke out the materials vs labor. He also made several suggestions that improved our vision. He worked two full long days to get it done on the schedule. The end result is terrific. A definite recommend, thank you, Chase! read more

We requested for help with a few things: - Filling a hole in a door : this was done well - Fixing a wardrobe door + beam that had fallen out : fell out the next day after them fixing it and we ended up re doing it ourselves. - Fixing some squeaky floor boards : they said they can't do anything about it AFTER coming home and don't work on floors. I had clearly stated my asks when I requested for their service so I was very disappointed to hear this. Had they told me before hand, I'd probably have not got the appointment at all since we could have solved the first 2 issues our selves with some patience. Also, they said 2 people would be coming over and I figured they would both work independently since the projects were so minor. But they just huddled in the same corner for the entire duration, ultimately taking longer than I expected them to finish. I paid them in full. But I'm dissatisfied with the service. read more

I needed a tv mount mounted on my wall above my fireplace and chase was a big help. Got it installed quick and the quality of his work shows

They did an excellent job for us. We had a problem with a kitchen linoleum that had come up. They were able to re-lay it with double sided tape. Chase did an excellent job. He also cleaned up after he was done with a vacuum. Taylor also removed a falling down privacy fence in our back yard. They both worked extremely hard to get the cement out that was used to secure the posts in the ground. They cleaned up the area before they left. I will definitely call them again! read more

I cannot adequately describe how dedicated and hardworking these guys are. Their professionalism and attention to detail are superior. They are truly great and honest people; they are trustworthy and do the right thing. Whenever I have had them do work for me I honestly trust that they treat their customers the way they would want to be treated and their workmanship reflects this. Finally, their pricing is more competitive than any I have experienced. For the person micromanaging their work in another review, I'd suggest calling around for other price quotes-you won't find anyone as reasonably priced as they are. read more

Mark and his crew are efficient and punctual. Hired Handymax to install 3 pairs of closet doors for us. It was a very smooth and pleasant experience working with Handymax. We ask ourselves why we waited! Highly recommend! read more

At first, Mark seemed to be the ideal handyman; courteous, flexible and talented. Then came Covid-19 and its aftermath. Suddenly, he became unreachable, and claimed that he was booked solid for the foreseeable future. Still, he offered us the services of an Electrician, who not only failed to show up for his appointment, but didn't bother to call and reschedule. When questioned, Mark had no explanation for this irresponsible behavior, other than to claim that the appointment was never made (which it certainly was, for I was present during the phone call). Worse, he stated that he was booked up for the next six weeks, and when I called to follow up on this, he then told me that he was in a meeting, and promised to call me back. This never happened. Somehow, we had failed to meet whatever unspoken criteria that he judges his customers by, and by necessity, we sought out someone else. If you want things fixed, take your money elsewhere. Life is simply too short for such unstable and unpredictable flakes like him, talented or not. read more

Mark and his team are very professional, they stick to timelines, do great work, and are very fair with pricing! I have used them for two jobs already and have him scheduled for a third! read more

Overly Priced. Unprofessional - showed up to the job in a huge truck but none of the basic materials they required to do the job. Waited for them to drive around to get the materials they already knew they needed, on my dime! Work was done improperly - and when i called them on it, they said they'd make a 'work request' but it could take weeks... its been months they never returned... Beware of these guys... there's better teams for much more reasonable costs. read more

I reached out to Mark to help with a Kitchen cabinet project that became much to complicated for my husband and I to complete. Mark worked closely with us in getting the correct hinges (he took my endless texts with grace & humor) and did an outstanding job on the final project of converting our ugly visible-hinged cabinets to hidden-hinged doors. Additionally he mounted another set of cabinets, installed a lazy susan cupbord, & a utensil drawer (plus consulted on a multitude of other future projects that we're DEFINITELY going to hire him for in the coming months!) I feel SO lucky to have found such a skilled, responsive, and reasonably priced handyman service in Handymax! I don't hesitate in the slightest in giving 5 stars! read more

I am so extremely pleased with the work that Mark and his team at Handymax performed. He very clearly communicated time frames and expectations up front, came out to the house to review the projects ahead of time, did such a great job completing all the projects I requested, and charged very reasonable prices. He and his team installed two GFCI outlets, patched a hole in the ceiling, replaced an older range hood with a newer (and very heavy one), and made our side yard usable again by moving back fence panels, adding a gate, and installing an amazing set of stairs with two platforms. I highly recommend Handymax. His team is already in demand and you may need to wait a little bit to have the work completed, but they are worth every penny, he will clearly communicate time frames, and they are definitely worth the wait. read more

The diverter on my shower broke and I couldn't fix it myself. I asked Mark if it was something he could help me with. He came by that day, fixed it and didn't charge me! I asked him if he could replace my range hood, It was done two days later at a very reasonable price. So pleased to have found a great handyman service! read more

We hired Handymax to put wainscotting, trim and baseboards up in our basement rec room. Everything went very smoothly from the initial contact to completion of the project in the time they quoted. The nicest and most helpful guy, he will come fix anything that needs it. He charges a VERY fair price to do so too.

Repeat ( 7 or 8 times) customer - never for the same problem. If I could rate 6 stars I would. No job to small (how to open overhead light fixture so I can change a light bulb) or too large (110 sq ft raised garden bed around back yard patio - 14 6" x 12" x 12 ft fir timbers involved - laser set-up to insure level, square, and plumb installation). Always prompt (will even wait patiently until I make an appearance if he and apprentices are 10 or 15 minutes early). Ever professional (researched and combined new sillcock parts to repair the very outdated equipment in my home to make my outdoor backyard patio water faucet stop large leak when in use). Always fairly priced - worth every dollar and more. I recommend Marks's services to any an all! read more
