Our carpets (just for your information!) are white - AND we have two children under the age of 4 at home. We had many, many, many stains and overall, it was a nightmare to look at. Anthony, somehow managed to clean our carpets so efficiently that my husband (who is very critical of any work!) said, "Man, that is amazing, this guy knows what he's doing." Whew! I was happy to hear that, and most importantly happy to walk on our super clean carpets. Finally, I texted a picture of my baby to a friend recently and she commented: "Cute baby - WOW your carpets are CLEAN!" Too funny.

He worked straight through two full days to get the job done, even coming back the second day to complete a few more items that unexpectedly came up during the first days work. I was quoted their very reasonable (for Seattle!) hourly rate for the extra work, and he was back the next day to finish everything up. He had novel solutions for my old house wiring that helped keep the job minimally invasive, and he was very respectful of our space, taking great care to clean up after himself. All in all, a very good experience at a very fair price. Can't recommend them enough!

I started reaching out to them and finally got a projected start date of late Sept. 2020 at the end of July, 2020. As we got into the middle and late August, I tried to reach out to them again to get a firmer start date. After numerous attempts by me they finally responded in the second week of September that they would not be able to follow through with the late September start date. I was told they could do the job next Spring! They stated that due to CoVid they had laid off half their work force! I understand that CoVid has created huge effects in our personal lives and economy. However, I noticed that other companies are responding and continuing to take on work. Ren-O-Paint's decision and late communication with me forced me to immediately search and find a company willing to take on my house painting. Fortunately, I was able to succeed finding someone and will get my house painted when I wanted it done and not to Ren-O-Paint's schedule. I regret having to give this negative review of Ren-O-Paint not keeping their commitments, but so it is! Despite the crisis, other companies are able to make commitments and keep them!

Apparently the generator hookup in our electrical panel wasn't connected. He came out Saturday to take a look, unprepared to fix the matter. He said he would be back Sunday around noon to fix the problem. After this post here (prior to revision), and a similar post on his FB page (which will never be seen by anyone) he came out today with the builder and fixed the problem to our satisfaction.

I contacted him and he cane out and gave me a verbal quote. I agreed and told him I was having floors replaced so I would need to have that completed first. He said if He did that part he could give me a price break, unfortunately his price was higher than the flooring company that I was using. So we set the date for after the floors were completed. Along the way i reached out regarding trim work and replacing doors to which he rarely answered the phone and preferred text. I would ask when he could start and his responses were hit and miss. Finally when we set a date, I reached out the day before and asked about items I was purchasing, and then asked him to send a final invoice (which he did not seem to want to provide) and when i gave him all the prices we discussed he mentioned an additional $500 or so for the paint. Now keep in mind when we initially discussed this project he said the price would only increase if I chose a color other than white. And he was giving me the price because it was because he would use the same color and sheen for the walls and baseboard. He decided in the end that he wanted more money and since he does not provide written estimates without repeatedly asking, he was able to change his price. Being that tine was running out I asked if he would honor his price and told him to cancel one item on the list because this was going to put me over budget. I asked if he would honor his original price, and from there he stopped responding. The next morning I called to see what the plans were since I had to schedule time off to have someone there for them, he did not respond to texts or my last call. In the end, I am fortunate I was able to experience this before the project started since it could've become very stressful. I do not recommend any company that does not provide written quotes and will change prices on a whim. Not to mention one that stops responding to a client that they've scheduled a job with.
