WARNING: UNRESOLVED ISSUES AND BROKEN PROMISES WITH STANWOOD REDI-MIX…read more DO NOT do business with this company. If I could leave zero stars I would. I strongly advise caution and due-diligence before considering using Stanwood Redi-Mix for your concrete projects. They supplied a concrete mix for our $30,000 driveway pad, front walkway, back patios, and firepit that resulted in severe, permanent blotching and discoloration across the entire installation. Our experience with their management and ownership has been incredibly frustrating: Acknowledgement of Responsibility: The company has acknowledged responsibility for the faulty concrete product numerous times, even stating this happened to at least one other customer. Broken Reimbursement Agreement: The owner, Erik Christoferson, explicitly agreed to reimburse us for the cost of the concrete due to the faulty product issues. However, that promised payment was never sent. Communication Breakdown: For over 12 months, we were given assurances of a solution and next steps. Now, the company has completely cut off contact. The owner no longer returns our phone calls, and staff members block us from speaking with management. Unfulfilled Claims: While their marketing emphasizes customer service and long-term relationships, our personal experience has been the exact opposite. We paid for materials that compromised our property's appearance AND value, and the company has walked away from their promise to resolve the financial damage. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this business. I advise checking other community reviews closely and taking your business to a supplier that follows through on its financial agreements.

Of course I wouldn't have pics of it flying at me. It was the only truck on the country road coming at me. And lucky I didn't go off the road. Be advised that if you buy a house plant from Ace, they CHARGE you for the bottom water protector…read more How chintzy can you get? I am also disgruntled with their ubiquitous begging for charities. You literally CANNOT choose not to participate in their begging game. I refused to hit the 'no' button last time and the cashier insisted it had to be me to opt out of the donation. I pushed her on that and she eventually hit the 'no' button herself. How weird is that? I choose which charities I donate to and don't appreciate having that shoved down my throat. She told me their computers lock up until a choice is made, which sounds like a program problem on their end, not my problem. I just want to pay for the stuff I am buying. End of story. Finally, discouraged they have no riding mowers in stock, only push mowers. I try to avoid big box stores but away I go. It's spring and the grass is growing. Guess they lost a $3K sale.
