Food was ok but lacking a bit of flavour. We had samosa and onion Bhaji and they both lacked flavour and were a bit dry. Onion rings in my view never qualify as onion Bhaji. Wow, was I surprised to see this restaurant on Yelp…read more We just returned from Munich and on our last day, Good Friday, we were heading back to the hotel late and needed a good dinner. This place was around the corner, so we decided to try it. The lady was helpful and service was speedy for our takeout meals. The restaurant looked nice and it had a few dining in. I got prawns in red curry, hubby got some pho, and my daughter got sweet and sour duck. All were good with the curry and duck being top-notch entrees. I especially liked the sauce on the sweet and sour because it was like the one my Mom used to make, not cloying and thick like most restaurants serve. We were sad that we didn't discover this place until our last evening. We definitely would have eaten there again. It was the best food we had in Germany!

Served with a delicious spicy brown sauce (sent in a seperate container). - Mango Lassi: Light and delicious, wonderful ripe mango flavor, not too thick or heavy. Surprise! The Murgh Tikka entree is served with a large side of white basmati rice.

As this place was not on Yelp, I have added it. The location is great and the place itself is nice and airy with, lots of windows and plenty of outdoor seating, something the other place was missing. The menu is the same as the other Dhaba. I call this place Dhaba2 although the name is the same on both places. The service is very friendly and welcoming, something I have always loved about Dhaba. The food is excellent and of the same high quality I have been used to, for the last two years. Our starter was good and my main of Lamb Boti Masala was excellent. The fresh roti out of the tandoor was also very good. For dessert we tried mung bean halava (a new addition to the menu) and it was nice too. All in all, for a place that has been open for two weeks, it was an excellent experience. They have a few more finishing touches to do at the restaurant but, a place I would happily come back to again. This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Munich and, the second place did not disappoint. In a way I prefer the layout of this place for the summer months. Well worth a try in my opinion. I hope you like it just as much as I do :-)
