No high-pressure sales tactics! Very thorough, thoughtful, and professional. They really work to see you get exactly what you want.

I recently ordered pens with my name, # and logo on them. Joe was fast, efficient and the price was very reasonable.

I ordered polo shirts for my business and these shirts are amazing! We got the really nice Nike golf shirts and the embroidery is on point.

First, I am a physician and do not just make unwarranted complaints of this magnitude without just cause. I understand that there are poor outcomes and not everything goes according to plan. However, I also understand that when you make a mistake, you own up to it and exact the type of compensation necessary to make things right. This was not done. While in medical school, I began an organization and invested a whopping $8,000.00 in having T shirts made to raise money for our club. As it turned out, the shirts were printed so horribly that they were not able to be sold. As the pictures on my website will show (link at bottom), the proofs which were sent to me and I agreed on was not anywhere near what was sent to me. In addition to the prints being completely off center and in the wrong place, there was an error in color which made one of the words not visible from more than a few feet away, and in daylight, not at all. I attempted to work this out with them and stated that I did not want to go to court over this. They agreed, and they made me an offer which will be submitted as a screen shot to the authenticity of my claims. In short, they wanted to compensate me for free printing on some shirts while I had to pay for the shirts themselves. First, this was nowhere near the number of shirts that were incorrectly printed. Second, why would I spend more money for shirts that were incorrectly printed? I would be out even more money and have less shirts than that were actually able to be sold than initially invested into. Being that I was in medical school and extremely busy, and given the incredulous nature of their attempt to make it right, I knew that they were not going to refund my money, and I also was too busy to pursue anything in a legal matter. Furthermore, I didn't have the resources to even if I wanted to. However, now that I am a practicing doctor, I have the resources to pursue this, and I am. Their statement to all of this is that since it is near 3 years ago, that I should not be able to complain. As mentioned, the reasons for this is very simple. In addition, I was the one who was wronged, not them. Someone doesn't get off of committing murder simply because he or she was caught 10 years later. This type of thinking is absurd. They did wrong and need to be accountable. I would stay away from this company as they are unethical. While they may be cheaper in cost, there is a reason for this. I can say with certainty that the shirts that I have worn have cracks in the pain and do not hold their value. But most importantly, if you have a mistake, I can guarantee that they will not refund your money but instead will ask that you spend more money on more shirts and prints. If you choose to go with them, at least you have been forewarned. PS. If you buy that the 5 star review by Buck is authentic, then I suggest you use a little more analytical thinking. This person has done business with them for 8 whole years, but THINKS that they speak with Heidi? They have a handful of people and she's the one who deal with the orders. How can he not speak to Heidi? Smart companies find friends or pay people to leave good reviews, especially if they have bad reviews to begin with. Remember, it's all about business. Good luck. You can see the evidence of what I'm saying in the website that I am creating at FisheadPrinting dot com.

Starlight Knitting Society - Wish I lived closer. Will make this a regular stop on my next Portland trip. Great customer service.

Though they were packed with other shoppers, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We each purchased a few skeins of yarn, and my daughter picked up an adorable claw clip in the shape of a ball of yarn with knitting needles. There was a wide variety of yarn, from cost-conscious basics to mid-priced natural fiber staples, all the way to sumptuously decadent fiber yarns at a luxury price point. Their needle selection was robust, their notions and other celebratory yarn-goodies plentiful as well. There is literally something for everyone here! They also have a wall dedicated to cross-stitch/embroidery with super fun kits. I know I missed mentioning something since it was stuffed to the gills with people, and if I'm honest, I was a little overwhelmed, but we look forward to returning soon for a more leisurely amble.

First of all, the staff were some of the nicest people I have ever met. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and were happy to answer any questions I had as they came up. They were also extremely friendly and seemed to want to get to know me, what projects I'm working on, and what I was looking for. Second, the selection and prices were unbeatable. Starlight Knitting Society had so many different yarns and crafting accessories to choose from at very reasonable prices. Despite wanting to buy everything in the store, I left with a Starlight Knitting Society tote bag (my new favorite bag to carry my knitting projects in) and a tension ring. I really wish I lived closer to Starlight Knitting Society. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Portland!
