We are from Jackson, MI and our office unfortunately doesn't have a doctor right now. So I had to either choose Okemos or Ann Arbor for my kid's exams/glasses. I chose Okemos, and I couldn't be more happy with the service! Its about a 40 minute drive for us, so it was a little frustrating BUT I have always been a firm believer that everything happens for a reason! Well there's a reason we had to go to Okemos and the amazing staff/service is why!! We will be returning for ALL future appointments there and then just shipping glasses to Jackson office!! I came back to SVS because I've never been to any provider's office that had been that polite professional and helpful...ever! They actually check on your insurance benefits...I happened to have two insurances the first time and they helped me with the most inexpensive option! This visit was no different only this time I was getting contacts as well..the whole vista including contacts and glasses and exam was a quarter of the price of America's Best...I went to them twice and both times I felt I was ripped off!! I love SVS. The staff members are so friendly and helpful they make it easy to go through the entire process. I tried on about 30 pair of glasses just to find one I liked, and even though they had to sanitize each pair they never complained and actually helped me choose. They are so kind. the doctor is friendly and thorough. She talked me through different concerns and options so I could make the best choices. I wasn't rushed out of the office either. I had a 2pm appointment which they called to remind me about the day before! I arrived promptly at 1:55 and was giving a warm welcome. I filled out my paper work and was quickly took back into the office to be examined. The doctor was very kind and respectful. He did a wonderful hob at making me feel at home. Once he was done with me He brought be back out into the waiting room where a nice lady helped me pick out frames and complete the process. She and He were much help! In and out all in 30 minutes! Excellent staff! So nice and helpful. The doctor explained everything he was doing very clearly, and professionally. My glasses arrived quickly and when I tried them on, they looked great but kept falling down my nose. They have this machine that creates a curve on the ear part of the frame, and it worked perfectly! I have never had a pair of glasses that fit me this well! The office was really clean and it smelled nice in the store too. By far, the best experience I've ever had at the eye doctor. 10/10. :) read more

They have a great selection of glasses and works with my insurance. The office is neat and the workers are helpful and are super nice. They have a 45 day love them guarantee which my wife has used before and selected another pair at no cost. I love the digital lenses and the transition (if wanted). I find they don't take to long to get clear. I'm trying the blue defense as a grad school student I get a lot of screen time. Anyways helpful people up there 5/5 would recommend. read more

Patrick was fantastic and so friendly. He helped me schedule my appointment and guided me through finding the correct forms to fill out online. When I arrived to my appointment, I was greeted with a friendly smile. My interactions with Patrick could not have been better. Dr James was amazing as well. Staff ensured my safety was a top priority. I came in two different times: one for my eye exam and another time for a scheduled eyeglass fitting when my frames came in. Both times the staff were extremely friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my frames and even perfected the frame adjustments. I've never experienced anyone going above and beyond like they did for my glasses. I highly recommend this location. read more

SVS has caring, thorough, kind staff. Dawn helped with all my wye car needs and my sons contact needs and questions. It is a pretty safe environment during these times. I just don't like the doors being closed during exams. Other than that, it is not busy or congested. Items, counters, and doors are continually cleaned after each customer. I even seen the great employee named above cleaning the outside door and handle after customer use. read more

The people at our SVS location are so good - they are helpful, courteous, kind and very informative. We have been going to this location for several years now and just love the service we get when we are there! Doctor there is very efficient and informative. I recently switched to SVS Vision and I'm so glad I did. I have never had such an easy time finding glasses I like. I actually had to narrow it down from 6 pair. Usually I'm lucky if I find one. The staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable and you can't complain about 50% off the second pair. read more

Staff is super cool, professional, knows their way around the insurances and discounts and isn't averse to giving you a lower cost option in order to keep you satisfied.
