I had a great experience with everyone at svs. I was very please with how the doctor answered my questions and explained everything to me. She was very courteous and polite to me. She showed how much she loves her job and wanted me to have the best vision I can have. The staff that helped me find my frames were wonderful. I had to go with what my insurance covered this time and was shown some very beautiful frames. I was so happy that I didn't have to pick them out alone. The lady that was helping me made sure the frames were the right size for my trifocal lenses and was very informative as well. She even showed me another pair of the same glasses in another color. I had choices! She did tell me about the polycarbonate lenses and I was so happy to have lighter lenses since my prescription almost doubled. I left a very happy girl! The staff was welcoming and friendly, but maintained a safe social distance. They were very conscientious about wiping everything down and sanitizing. The service was quick and thorough and the sale was very easy. They were very knowledgeable about my insurance, and they helped me find frames that I really like. I have been coming here for years, and I particularly like that there is not a big turnover in employees. Each year, I am happy to see people that I worked with in previous years. My husband and I just returned for our annual visit. I am continually amazed at the new selection of frames, which are on trend and very desirable. My difficulty is choosing only one or two! We schedule our appointment for a day when Cathy will be working, as she is completely amazing. She knows exactly what we will like and makes the process smooth and efficient. I have been going to svs monroe for about 4 years now an the service is wonderful everyone up front is so nice an helpful i love dealing with them. But i was going to go somewhere else because of the Doctor, very rude an unprofessional. I could not get an appointment till late January everywhere else so i made the appointment an hoped for the best. when I got there I didnt wait long an was taken back by a very nice young lady then came to realize she was the new Doc I was so happy she was very friendly an knowledgeable. I was treated with respect, and the whole experience was overall quick painless and fast. The eye exam was only a few minutes long. The doctor explained what kind of glasses I was going to need, and answered all the questions that I had at the time. When picking out my frames I asked for a suggestion and was able to find the frames I liked within a matter of looking at two sets. The glasses came in when I needed them and fit very well. I would recommend Karen , she is the best person there to have help you. We had a appointment there yesterday and was running behind , I called and told her we were going to be late, I got there 20 minutes late and she made sure we were seen by the eye doctor, because he doesn't anyone that is late past 5 minutes. I have been going to SVS since they opened due to our insurance with my employer. My daughter hasn't had good experiences with eye doctors so has a lot of anxiety with going to see one. Dr. Irwin was so understanding and patient with her. He talked her through every step and made sure she understood what was going to be done and felt comfortable. He even tried to keep my 7 month old entertained during the exam so my daughter could sit on my lap. I was so impressed and blown away. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing eye care. I haven't been to an eye doctor in over a decade...due to a crippling fear of all kinds of doctors. But, some recent changes in my life have caused a burst in confidence, so I went in just to have a routine exam. My eyes haven't changed, but the fact that I was able to go made me ecstatic. I was taken right back for my eye exam less than 5 minutes after I arrived for my appointment. Every single person at this office was friendly, attentive, actually happy to see and help you. Exam room was very clean and comfortable. They have plenty options of frames to choose from and well priced. I was told 7-10 business days for my glasses to arrive, however they arrived in 4 business days. I will definitely return next year for my next exam! read more

My experience was exceptional. I was impressed with the doctor that conducted eye exam. As she flipped between the lenses asking, better or worse, it was clear which was better. They are very professional at what they do. If your not happy they will do anything to make sure you leave happy with what you buy. it took me a long time to find the perfect fit for contacts but they were patient and found me the perfect ones for me. Highly recommend. Went in for the first time ever to get an eye exam and they got me in within days! When I went to my appointment everyone was friendly and helpful.
