Henry Ford OptimEyes was one of the worst experiences of my life. Never use 504 n telegraph rd Monroe Michigan optometrist. They are rude, they mess up the prescription making them worse than the old glasses and insist after trying to wear then for a week that they were right and was forcing me to keep them. They were militant from the very beginning. They had no appointments though they are required but we needed the glasses for the driving test. That is why we put up with the rudeness at first. Now we know why they had no customers. And I'm sure insurance rates will climb with these most unprofessional and unskilled people. This is just awful. They finally after I was insisting over and over and calling the insurance company on them, finally succumbed to getting another appointment and so we had to drive all the way there for. Then I called the director and he said he would reprimand them. How nice, then the women mangled my glasses before they put the second pair in the mail, they did this vindictively. In all the time we were there they did not explain one thing, they never did a fitting to make sure the glasses were right for neither me nor my husband. They were angry and rude about my husband having a beard. And they never offered a discount after all that, between the two of us, we paid well over 200.00, not including what they got paid for the insurance. And they are overpriced. With no discounts! No extras! Save yourself the trouble and go down the road where they are busy and kind. Customer service matters!!! And getting the right prescriptions are a real plus!! Both our glasses were wrong but my husband wouldn't deal with them. He just went to another optometrist. They should have refunded our money and fixed the glasses. The director did not call me back. I may have used them again if they would have done righteously. I told the director about the glasses being mangled and my husbands being not strong enough. This experience was a disaster. read more
