I had a great experience with Daniel at Suwanee Towne Florist! My daughter was married in October 2023 and we had Daniel create unique bouquets and boutonnieres. My daughter had kind of a spooky boho vibe to her wedding and Daniel and his crew were super excited to do it. My daughter and I went in a couple times for consultation and then they took care of the rest! We picked up the flowers on the day before the wedding. They had the bouquets in glass vases and gave us simple instructions to keeping them fresh for the next day. Everything was still perfect the next day and they were a hit. Daniel even included cute skeletons to attach to the boutonnieres and skeleton hands in the bouquets. He also threw in some rose petals he had leftover for the flower girl's basket! The bridesmaids and groomsmen loved it (as did the bride and groom!) Yesterday I placed an order for a flower delivery for a friend of mine who recently lost her mother. I live in another state, so I had to rely entirely on reviews to try to pick a reputable florist in the area that was up to the task. Enter Suwanee Towne Florist. Their reviews were good, they were in the right delivery area and their arrangements looked beautiful. So I immediately went online to place an order. I had no problem finding an arrangement that I felt would make her smile, and the ordering process was pretty straightforward which I appreciated. Later that afternoon, I received a text message from her thanking me for the flowers along with a photo attached of the arrangement. The flowers were very pretty, but I didn't feel like they "quite" lived up to the photo I saw online. The flowers just looked a little sad to me. Like they were more hanging out of the vase than standing up on their own, if that makes any sense. Maybe I'm biased because I literally just ordered flowers for someone else last week from a different flower shop here in town for roughly the same price, and they were absolutely stunning! So perhaps I just got my hopes up too high and it's not quite fair to compare. I'm not really sure. To sum it up, I ordered flowers for same day delivery and that's what I got, and the flowers "mostly" resembled what was in the image online. So I feel like I should give them 4 stars for that. But I definitely wasn't blown away like I was expecting to be. So if I have to order flowers in this area again, I might venture out and try a different florist. Or maybe I won't. It just depends. I have only been a recipient of their beautiful arrangements, so cannot speak from a buyer's point of view. But from a recipient's viewpoint, they are outstanding! I got a phone call from them when I was in Texas after my mother died, and they told me they were delivering an arrangement, but when they found out I was not only not home but in another state and not coming home for a couple of weeks, they let me know they would redeliver once I had arrived back home. They really do go out of their way. Every time I have received flowers from them they call me to let me know if they have left them on my doorstep. Additionally, the arrangements are always beautiful and fresh, and the give the little flower food packets and directions on keeping them fresh. read more

An arrangement was delivered to our church on Friday morning for a Saturday lunch to be held after a graveside service. The arrangement was lovely! The purchaser had let them know it would also be used in the church sanctuary on Sunday. Unfortunately, by the time of the lunch there was a noticeably dead sunflower in the arrangement and simply removing it would leave a hole. I called the florist to ask if they could replace it since the arrangement had been delivered less than 30 hours before. They kindly came right over, took the arrangement out to their vehicle, and brought back looking even better! I had simply wanted the one flower replaced and they went over and beyond to make it right. Things happen, but how a business handles it says a lot. read more

I recently ordered flowers for my wife's birthday. We noticed within the first 24 hours after having received the arrangement that some of the flowers in the arrangement had wilted. This was unusual; I've used STF many times and had never before had an issue with any of their flowers. When I called STF to tell them what we were seeing the immediate response was to a) apologize profusely and b) to insist that they be allowed to deliver a new arrangement that afternoon on which they followed through. The replacement arrangement has been sitting in our kitchen for over a week and still looks fantastic. This is customer service at its finest. STF cemented my loyalty and that of wife with how they handled this. You have our admiration and thanks. read more

I am very disappointed at the level of service and mediocre arrangement I received today. I ordered a floral arrangement for my aunt's 70th birthday for about $80. I asked for white roses colors of purples, white. and pink flowers for pick up at 12 noon. I called at 12:30 to let them know I was in route. I was told that they hadn't seen the order and the arrangement hadn't been started. I was then told that they would begin on it and would be there until at least 3pm for pick up. I arrived shortly before 3pm to an arrangement that literally looked thrown together or as if it was out together with the clearance flowers at Krogers or Publix. It didn't include the white roses that I had asked for so I let them know. One of the male florists attempted to add 3 roses. I mentioned that I'm a stickler for even numbers so can you add just 1 more. The other male florist who's name may be Scott cut in and started to tell me that roses are more expensive and basically I got what I paid for. The male florist that was actually arranging the vase said that it was ok and he would fix it. He then proceeded to tell me how to place it in the car. I followed his instructions and proceeded to the light. I immediately noticed that one of the flower stems was already broken. I immediately turned around to go back to the store. I grabbed the door and it was locked. After knocking a few moments the florist came and I explained what I noticed and asked him to fix it. Instead of him cutting down the one flower or simply replacing it, he cut the buds off of 3 more flowers so now they all looked like they were broken. The other male florist that cut in before had cut in again to say that he was cutting off the buds, the florist said it's fine and gave me back the vase I looked down at it in disbelief and almost cried. I couldn't believe he had done that. I was literally speechless. I had my children in the car and. We were already late so I felt helpless and left the store. This is my 3rd arrangement in 3 months and have never had this experience before. I am discouraged and heartbroken. The first time I stopped by here months ago the store was very welcoming. There were 2 ladies working at the time and both were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I'm not sure what happened today. read more

Huge Disappointment. Got an expensive arrangement from our kids and grands for 55th Wedding Anniversary. Several of the flowers were dead or dying (drooping, no petals, blossoms browning and shriveling). When I called to report problem, Daniel said he personally inspected the arrangement before it went out. He said he had a photo of the arrangement. When I offered to send photos he said he didn't need to be insulted. Insulted? I was polite and spoke in normal voice. This guy is in denial and doesn't want his product criticized. This place deserves a zero star rating after my most recent experience. I have ordered from this establishment multiple times and have had an awesome experience until now. The owner and/or manager was highly unprofessional and extremely disprespectful when I contacted the store to inform them of an issue with my most recent purchase. Instead of addressing my concerns, they began falsely accussing me of being rude and mean upon me stating that I would like my order to be replaced or refunded. I ordered what was described as bright and vibrant "get well" flowers for my mother who has been very ill for several weeks. I've included a picture of a beautiful arrangement that they previously provided to contrast with the "dark and dreary" flowers they recently delivered. Management further showed their unprofessionalism as they refused to help me, declaring that my requests were "too demanding", while also stating that the arrangement that I received was for Mother's day, despite me specifically stating the flowers were "get well" flowers for my sick mother. read more

The ole' Bait & Switch Trick ay! So I ordered flowers for my girlfriend; and I specifically asked for mixed roses and daisies. After they were delivered, my girlfriend calls to thank me; and I asked for her to send me a pic of he flowers. What she sent me were flowers I would have sent to my grandmother. NO roses period and what appeared to be TWO unopened daisies. The rest were filler greens, unrecognized flowers and a lot of hydrangea. I called to complain and with a slight offensive voice they, in their defense, offered to re-deilver, BUT only if they could have the old arrangement back. REALLY!! I wanted them to arrive after Mother's Day because my mom was out of town on the actual day. Well, the flowers did not arrive on the day I thought I had specified, even after the shop called me to confirm the dates. Turns out, yours truly had completely botched the dates! Suwanee Towne Florist offered to send the flowers out early and they arrived yesterday, a full 5 days early. I can't thank them enough for coming to the rescue, going above and beyond, and not making this daughter feel like an idiot for messing up her flower order. Watch out for Substitutions. Ordered an arrangement of Daisies and Roses. What arrived was Carnations and an unidentifiable flower. Called and they felt justified as they said these were comparable. To make matters worse, I could have actually saved money using Telefloral and had it delivered by Suwanee Towne florist....who sets their prices so it is $10 more after shipping to go directly through them. Always happy with the beautiful flowers my husband gets me! the roses are just beautiful and big. They live at least 2weeks or longer. I have never seen such beautiful colors most of the time you'll find red, yellow, white but the ones from here are always different. I did not have the joy of personally receiving flowers from this shop... however my very best friend did. I was there when they were delivered and OMG, were they MAGNIFICENT. I paid $95 for a tabletop centerpiece (incl. tax and delivery), nothing close to what was received. I bought from out-of-State. Here is how it was described from my mother: Quote I don't want to take away from the joy you and I both derived from having the flowers delivered to me from my beautiful grandchildren. At the same time, I don't want you to be cheated because you are from out of state. That has happened before. Apparently I spoke with the girl who took your order and when I suggested they should not put those flowers in a clear vase, she said that what "you picked came in a clear vase." Well.......... She never told you that they came in cloudy water full of sediments. The flowers had lots of evergreens, three red roses, two big mums and 2 or 3 bunches of smaller mums. Three small Christmas balls on florist sticks and a couple of pine cones on a wire. They tied a red bow around the hourglass indentation that was at the top of the vase. If you can find it in their web site I'd like to see what you were looking at; I think the floral service they use is Floristique according to the enclosure card. When I looked to admire it further, I noticed that the water was filthy and there was a lot of sediment in the bottom of the vase. I called to let them know that such a presentation was unacceptable and they need to bring some flowers with clean water. The young girl told me that I had to dump the water out and put fresh water and I would have to do that every other day. I had tried that and it only stirred the stuff more. She explained it had to be done maybe 5 times. I said that I didn't intend to do that and they can come and take them back and they can do it. They wanted to have their employee come in to do it, I found that unacceptable. They said they would send someone and did not. Needless to say nobody called and nothing has been done. First of all, the flowers were so tightly placed in the vase it was difficult to move them to the side to dump the water and sediment out. Today I managed to get them out of the vase and put them into one of mine that is better designed for that many flowers which were so tightly bunched in the hourglass part of the vase they used. I swear they must be training people to do flower arrangements. They have a Web Site and I am tempted to go in their Web Site and let them have it. I don't know how much you paid, but the way they looked, even 20 dollars would have been too much. I get much better arrangements from Kroger for $20.00 and $30.00. End quote Edit: My initial review was much harsher last week. Subsequent to the initial posting, I was called by the manager. He was very apologetic. His staff remade an arrangement that my mother said was gorgeous. Because of his responsiveness to the initial Yelp, I have adjusted my score. read more
