Owner Tom Boulanger arrived on my doorstep in north Burien with an "extra asphalt" story, claiming they had some leftover from a street paving project in my neighborhood. He gave me a price to add and compact asphalt to about half of my driveway that day. He then was gone for a few hours, which indicated to me that they did not have extra asphalt but instead were soliciting for work. He then paved about a tenth of the area and said that was what he was doing for the price he had given me for the entire project. He continued to pave the half to which I had agreed then overcharged me on both price per square foot and total area covered. I paid him anyway and have regretted it ever since. Avoid this company and the owner!

The other companies don't put customers first and not professional. For example, they would say they will stop by on Monday to give a quote and then radio silence until we asked where they were. Down Right Concrete was different. Here is why: - Professionalism: Top notch. After my husband and I contacted them, they stopped by the next day to give us a quote. The owner Mike showed up the exact minute he said he would. That's highly appreciated as we are all busy. The level of professionalism is the same during the installation for their whole team - Price: Very competitive when we compared quote with other companies - Quality: They don't cut corner. They do what is best for you. Other companies would calculate every square foot and the price sometime is based on how thick the concrete is as well. The ensure the job is done and honor the quote - Guarantee: Top notch. 3 year guarantee. Our drive way was completed in 3 days: day 1 for prep, day 2 for pouring, day 3 for cut and clean up. From the time that we contacted them to the day of the job was only 3 days! Unbeatable! We told them we run an Airbnb and the next 10 days is the only window that we have to do the driveway before the next guest. The owner Mike did his very best to squeeze us in and make it work. Again, that shows they put customers first. Our driveway now is an art (cut by Mike's brother! thank you!) and we really can't be more happy. I have never thought I can get excited and jumping up and down for concrete but well it happened. My husband Ikaika even joked if I want a concrete wedding ring. Well, sure. Thank you Down Right Concrete's Team

When you get lucky, you find a good one that you know you have to keep for future projects. That's Siler Concrete Cutting. Larr, the owner, made initial contact, and his daughter did the scheduling. Very easy process. Family run business with superb efficiency. The highlight, though, was execution by Robert. Robert was on time. He was quick to set up, quick to cut and jack my trench, and surprised me with helping remove the concrete out the back door. Cleaned up with initiative. Ie: I ran a hose in from a bedroom window and across the hallway into the bathroom where the cutting took place. After Robert left, I went to get the hose to run it back, but it was gone. I went outside to see it rerun outside the window and neatly coiled up. Those little details of professionalism shine through the entire time. Like he offered Ear plugs and ensured kids and pets were considered before he started. Robert kept me informed, educated me when I had questions, and offered ideas for attacking my hydrostatic pressure issue from the outside.
