Emergency room is so disorganized. Wait time is horrible. You are just a medical record number to them. Zero care and empathy from staff.

The absolute worst part of visiting this hospital is the parking. If you can figure out a way to dodge this bullet do it. Otherwise be prepared to walk about a quarter mile to get to the emergency entrance. You might be able to send a companion to get a wheelchair if needed. Or call the front desk and explain the problem. I've never tried this but it may be necessary. I popped in on Thursday morning and there was no line for emergency. Miracle! The only thing the receptionist had to do was wave me through. The nurses were relaxed and friendly Even the paperwork had been tamed by technology. I spent about 2-3 hours there. Everyone was relaxed and friendly probably because it was just a whole bunch of tests and I most likely wouldn't drop on them suddenly. Sadly the tests failed to pinpoint the problem and they recommended, nay, commanded I go see a specialist. Unfortunately I've spent enough time in emergency rooms to realize this is common. They simply don't have time or expertise do anything except eliminate the most dangerous And urgent problems. All in all, the staff either met or exceeded expectations There is always a major bummer in the emergency room that stops you from feeling sorry for yourself. I went into Sutter ER Roseville on friday 2/21/25 with a severe cough that felt bronchial, the Dr. or PA told me to go home, drink lots of water and rest. I am a Veteran and was sent there by the VA advice nurse. 2 days later the cough was much worse and throat was raw. I said it felt like a strep throat...and told themi have a long history of Severe sinusitis. The sent me for a chest xray to rule out pneumonia and took a swab of my throat for a strep test. Never checking my ears as well for infections as per sinusitis. They sent me home with no offer of medications nor attempted to try and understand the severity of my condition. I will never return there again and will urge all others to avoid their services.​​ read more

Came in w/ n/v and drinking too much Liquid IV...in & out sesh from 1330 to 1630. Record time...but also I was conscious, accurate historian, and already in the sutter system. I feel it's somewhat better than NBMC or DGMC regarding time in and discharge. Sutter is further away for us, but didn't mind the drive to Vallejo. We make the worst patients, refused IV-Fluids and anymore waiting around in the hallway. Rooms where filled...my only complaint was being seen and assessed in the hallway by the ED physician and nurses. So much for HIPPA and privacy. Lol I do commend all the hard working physicians, nurses, MAs, CNAs, unit clerks, X-ray techs, phlebotomists, security, housekeeping, ITs and engineers that keep the ED/hospitals running. The MURSES, RN at Triage, Kuya, and the ginger w/ tats were very cool and accommodating. Salamat po! Thankless job...but they continue on and do their best. I'll be giving Sutter Hospital 'maybe' two stars. Due to one of the excellent nurses who cared for me during my week long stay, for 2 emergency surgeries in mid Dec, 2023, is the reason I've given 5 stars. I'd give Rowena 10 stars if I could! Rowena is an exemplary nurse, always on top of everything, as well being a kind, understanding, & knowledgable caregiver. Any hospital would be very lucky to have her on their staff. Do not go to Sutter Health Emergency room. I went to visit them because my insurance said they will cover 100% of any ER visit so i went on 12/5/24 since i was really sick, i had bronchitis & i was on a business trip. I gave TWO nurses of my insurance and both made copies of my insurance card so the hospital has my insurance information. Fast forward to 12/28/24, i received my FIRST bill from them and I do not understand why. Like why would I be receiving a bill from them if my insurance is going to cover it AND on top of that, they BILLED me for the FULL AMOUNT so i know that they did not bill my insurance. So i called the billing department and spoke to a guy name Jim and he said that he doesnt know why they didnt bill it to my insurance and told me that he was going to take care of it on 12/30/24. He said he will do the billing to my insurance on 12/30/24. Fast forward to 01/18/25, I received YET another bill from them. This is the SECOND time i received the bill from them & it was for the SAME AMOUNT AS THE FIRST BILL so i know nobody in this hospital ever do their job. If you guys do not fix my bill, i will sue the hospital for improper billing. read more

On 02/28/2024, I arrived at the ER at 3100 Summit Drive in Oakland CA at 10:13pm. I was checked in and triaged by 10:25p. Then I sat in a room and waited in pain while a shift change was going on still waiting to see a doctor, nurse or someone that could help. I sat in the room from 10:25p till 12:05a on 02/29/2024. Only when I got dressed to leave and someone saw me take off the monitoring apparatus did they ask about me. I told them the doctor has 20 mins to see me before I walk out. Not one nurse or healthcare provider even checked on me until I got dressed and was ready to walk out for poor service. NO ONE should have to wait in pain for almost 2 hours to see a doctor. This violates Patient Care of prompt care. This ER crew is nothing less than lethargic, with little compassion, and I wonder why they're still employed. NEVER GO HERE! Even their parking signage shows to pay for $15 but are actually free and no one knows about it. They've really got to get the lead out when caring for patients. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. read more

Staff needs a lesson in hospital etiquette. People are here because they're 1) in pain, 2) sick, 3) injured.. usually a combination, why tf do these cackling nurses and assistants find it okay to joke and discuss SUCH irrelevant, crude matters in front of patients...took 4 hours to see a physician who made light of my partner's situation and nurses avoided us repeatedly. And we were nothing but polite. This is not the first time this place has severely disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this hospital or ER to a friend or family. read more

I was loathe to go to this ER (thanks to seeing these reviews) but believed I had no choice due to the level of pain I was in, unexpectedly. Like others here, I was left to sit for hours in extreme pain, begging for someone to do something. They finally had to deal with me because others in the waiting room (never more than 2-3 people!) were getting agitated and upset by seeing me that way. Even when I was finally moved from the hard waiting room chairs to a bed, they left me there for hours in pain with no medication at all despite my opening the door to beg for someone to do something. I can understand the need to have to diagnose someone before giving pain management, since the wrong med can complicate a diagnosis, but what they did end up giving me -- tylenol, injectable motrin -- was over the counter and would not have made any difference to a diagnosis! I also think that the current situation with COVID where family cannot even be in the waiting room to advocate for a patient, makes this all the more dangerous. I would urge people to avoid this ER at all costs. read more

I would leave zero stars if I could. I want to start off by saying this was an extremely traumatic experience for me. I was extremely ill, couldn't stand up, severe stomach pain for reasons unknown... I go to Sutter emergency room because they were the closest to where I live, big mistake. I go to check in where they take my vitals and decide they want to take blood samples and that after they would get me a room as soon as they could, considering the ER was "backed up" as the receptionist called it. To me, 'backed up' is maybe 45 mins- an hour wait.... I found myself there for a total of FIVE HOURS IN THE LOBBY. I was so sick, I threw up twice while waiting and by the third hour in I was laying directly on the floor. I looked around in terror as several other people were also profoundly ill. I noticed that certain people with more low maintenance issues were called back before the REALLY sick people, which to me is backwards as hell. This poor man next to me said he was ready to DROP and they didn't give a damn. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. You left people out there to DIE. Not to mention everyone in the waiting room overhearing "Code Blue" through the intercom all day, and then hearing security next to me talk about how people are passing away up there. You guys are used to killing people aren't you?? Absolutely disgusting, death ridden place. At my fifth miserable hour in I decided to leave, they had no plans of giving anyone new a bed and they should have been transparent and stated that at the beginning. My mom goes to the front desk to ask about the results of my blood sample that I had given hours ago, and if they could send the information to the new location we were going to and they refused. (You will be contacted further regarding this specific incident) What happened to myself as well as several other people was unacceptable. Even security guards came up to me to help me more and said they felt really bad, because you guys know why you did. And as stated before you will be hearing about my story a lot more. If there are no beds available TELL PEOPLE JUST THAT. Do not sugar coat shit to severely sick people who are barley hanging on by a thread!!! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE, THEY DO NOT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE!! Don't bring your mother, your children, your aunts or uncles, NOBODY here! I am digusted with Sutter and it's non-existent support of cancer patients. They only offer support groups in the Vallejo hospital, during work hours. Everyone knows Vallejo and Benicia are part of Solano Co., however, they truly are a separated from the rest of Solano Co. because of their location. There is NO excuse why there aren't any support groups in Fairfield or Vacaville. More over, I am sorry, but some cancer patients need to work and evening support groups would be nice. Empathy isn't needed as much as support is. Clinicians, directors and snippy nurses are clueless to actual cancer patient needs. Support staff lacks knowledge on copayment assistance; other than what they can print of the web. Oh wait, why didn't I think of doing that. I did!!!! Months before they finally got around to addressing requested support. Basically, if you don't do the treatment, the way the medical industry deems you should, you receive subpar support or negligent care (another joke of a Solano Co. "Healthcare" system. I concur with other one star reviews. This is the worst ER I have witnessed. I am a woman in my 70's. I tripped and fell on a sidewalk, hitting the left side of my head and left side of my upper body. There was an abrasion near my eye and a bump on the side of my head. Medical people passing by assisted me and gave some basic neuro exams, urging me to go to the ER. That was more than I got at Sutter ER. A P.A. interviewed me very briefly after I arrived. He did not perform even the most cursory exam. He remained behind a computer and never approached me to check my injuries. He told me I would have a CT scan to check my brain and sent me back to the waiting room. I was in the ER for 4 hours. I was never seen by a Medical Doctor and was never examined by anyone. I had very sore ribs, sore head, sore jaw, sore upper arm and upper side of back. There may be something illegal here because patients with Medicare must be seen by an M.D. or the plan will not pay. However, my issue is not the billing, but the situation of malpractice where an elderly patient is never checked for injuries nor given a brief neuro exam after a head and body injury on concrete. My healing was impaired by my having to sit for hours, in pain, in an uncomfortable, hard plastic chair in the waiting room. If I could have rested, my healing could have begun more effectively. I only stayed to get the CT scan. The waiting room was a very miserable place. A woman in a wheelchair was brought in with abrasions as though she had been in some sort of accident. She was moaning in pain and her support person was trying to comfort her. I guess she was getting the same sort of care that I was getting which was none. Adding the misery of the other patients to my wait, it was the last place anyone would want to be while reacting to a physical trauma. My experience was in sharp contrast to that of my husband at the Sutter, Roseville ER. A few years ago when we lived nearby, my husband had an injury similar to mine, but in the house and not on concrete. He was immediately placed in a wheelchair and wheeled to the beds in the ER. He was seen by a doctor, was made comfortable, interacted with nurses frequently, and had all of the necessary tests from his gurney. I guess that is what being in a solid middle class area gets you. Drive a little further to a better ER if you need one. read more

Horrible service. I've seen better care for patients at vet hospitals! Long wait even after patient fainted and was helped by other patients. No one from staff bothered to come and help or ask what was going on. 4 hour wait sitting watching other patients get angry at service and leave. read more

I went to Sutter Health Emergeny Room in Vallejo and they offerred no treatment whatsoever. I just had to go to Walgreens for prescription.

Shocking! I had thought Sutter was a good hospital. I felt horrible for bringing my friend from out of town here. She had a lot of kidney pain. The front desk staff were nice and efficient but it definitely stopped there. The doctor was rude and short w her. Explained nothing And sent us back to wait while she is riving in pain. (The only one in waiting room doing so and only two others in waiting room at all for the first 20 min) I noticed later patients who were laughing and giggling who came in after us had gone ahead of her and had beds. After a few hours they finally called her back wheeled her up to a bed in the hallway, told her to get up there and then just left. Not one word more. Not until I complained did anyone speak to her only to leave again with no explanation, IV or assistance to restroom. When nurse finally addressed her he basically barked at her to sit up so he could give her the IV. Then got upset when she said it was hurting her. She had to go to restroom and no one was around to help her. By this time she could barely walk. Still they only watched as I found her a wheel chair and got her down the hall to restroom. I spoke loudly and asked if anyone could assist her. No response. Nurse came back and said that in the future if I was going to speak for her I needed to leave. I responded by saying I was advocating for her as she couldn't do so herself as she was crying in pain and no one was answering to her let alone giving her any information or assistance. He said you need to go in waiting room. It is a privilege to be back here. I stayed quiet as I disnt want to upset my friend but I was thinking I was the privilege to them as I was the only one helping her to bathroom, barf bags and wheel chair hunting. Unfortunately, I have been in many ERs and this really is the least compassionate and most disorganized. It's definitely very clear they have become detached from what I hope they at least originally went into this line of work for. They showed zero interest in anything more than chatting with each other and speaking disrespectfully to their patients when they finally did decide to speak to anyone. I literally switched insurances for Sutter Health and now I'm scared to death that in a real emergency this is where I would end up. I can only imagine how many people pass due to negligence and would pass away being barked at and treated as an inconvenience. read more

Worst ER experience I've ever had. Steer clear of this place. Dr. Shin was extremely rude and short with me. She refused to perform all necessary tests, because she decided it wasn't "medically necessary." The only thing this near med school dropout did for me was a blood test to rule out my OWN SELF DIAGNOSIS. Did my doctor even go to medical school?? Does she even perform a differential diagnosis of her own? As a result, my condition worsened, and I needed to be seen at another ER a week later. John Muir Walnut Creek was very caring, and understanding, and performed all needed tests. They were able to find a very simple cause for my symptoms, because they were thorough and ACTUALLY PASSED MEDICAL SCHOOL. Oddly enough, even though the John Muir doctors worked with me for 6 hours and performed every possible test, the bill from Sutter compared to John Muir was very similar. How is that even possible? To sum it up: Doctors at Sutter have a poor bedside manner Doctors at Sutter do not talk to you like a person, or address your questions Sutter was extremely expensive compared to John Muir Sutter gave me low quality of care and refused to perform medically necessary tests I will never return. I would rather bleed out than let a doctor even touch me from Sutter. This hospital is the lowest of the lowest on the totem of hospitals. You have been warned. Oh and don't get me started on the online bill pay. You have to jump through hoops you wouldn't believe just to sign up for an account to pay their atrocious bill, including a full identity verification, with questions about all your current home/auto/credit card loans!! read more

Pros: Good nurses and other staff seems just as good. Staff generally are friendly. Clean beds and generally everything in the ER room is clean. Social workers and case managers available to assist financial and emotional needs. Cons: Wait times vary. ER lobby can be dirty with food crumbs scattered sometimes. Wait time for nurses to assist can vary. Chairs in ER rooms are hard and uncomfortable. Review: So I had to go to the ER a few times this month and each time my experience has been good overall. A tip for first timers, once you get into the ER lobby the check-in counter on the left and will have a black chair in front of the counter. If there is no one sitting there, you need to just walk up to the counter because there are a few instances when people just stand in line and they never get asked by the staff if they are there for emergency services. The wait time really depends on the time and day you come in. Generally between midnight and 6am are probably the slowest, but there is no telling when and how many ambulances will roll right in at any time. Ambulance patients have the highest priority and will be seen over almost everyone who just walks into the ER. However they will probably bump up your priority if you are in labor, or having chest pains, or seizures. But if you are having a terrible cold, or other non-life threatening pains (no gun shot or stabbing wounds where you are bleeding to death), then you can expect to wait for awhile. The first time I went in with my symptoms, I had to wait probably 3 hours in the lobby before getting a bed on a Tuesday late afternoon. After explaining my case, they did x-ray and gave me IV fluids and other meds to help my situation. Although, I had to wait almost 30-45 minutes in between each new service (ie. Take blood sample, wait 30 min, get IV fluids, wait 30 min, x-ray, wait 40 min, CT scan, wait 45 min). The nurses were all very good and the doctors were all good that night as well as they were able to come up with best diagnosis for me. I ended up getting an emergency procedure done that night and admitted for recovery. Most ER bed rooms only have 1 or 2 hard chairs for guest to sit on and can be uncomfortable especially sitting for a long time. On my second visit to the ER, I must have came in on a Monday afternoon and it was extremely busy. They were swamped with ambulances all day and the lobby had at least 6 patients including myself waiting. I had to wait almost 6 hours before finally getting a put into a room! Then, ER services were also a bit slow (30-45 min per service) and the nurse with the mid-western accent seemed busy and always on the go type. There was also a very rude older patient next to my room with an eastern european accent who had a chronic cough that took all his breath away, and who was rude using his cell phone to make calls to his lawyer, and also very demanding to the nurses. One younger Male nurse couldn't take it and had to start telling him to stop moving around because the patient kept tangling his IV lines and the nurse had to fix it almost every 5 min. Thankfully my nurse gave me some orange banana plugs to put into my ears that night! The third time I came in around 6am on a Wednesday and no one was there. I got a room within 30 min after checking in, and they already got the x-ray and IV orders put in within 30 min. They also gave me meds and warm blankets. The nurse Quimby she was really nice and helpful and was able to advise me on what to eat slightly better than the doctor (though the older doctor was also really good). I was treated and out within a few hours. Overall all ER rooms are kind of the same. Expect to wait least 3 hours before getting a bed. Also, expect to wait again once you get into a bed to get services like x-rays, scans, food, ect. This place is not the worst. I once had to visit an ER up in citrus heights called San Juan medical center a year ago, and I literally had to wait 7-8 hours before being seen! The patients there were much more impatient and some smelled really bad. Here at least every experience wasn't that bad but it's still a hit or miss. read more

Worst part was seeing an older gentlemen come in with chest pains and they made him wait for over 30 minutes before they did anything!!! read more

If I could give this E.R a zero I would. I was there for 5 hours before "my nurse," who by the way I didn't even know was my nurse, came up to me. That's after I started yelling and waving at the most cockiest nurse. I said excuse me 3 times and they turned around and looked at me and turned away like I was not there. I was given a bed in front of the nurse station so the fact that they didn't even come by to me or acknowledge me was disappointing. Then I waited some more for the Dr to say you need this and this. That took another 4 hours. Then I went home. The worst staff. Even Carla the lab lady,an older lady was making very inappropriate comments about a patient who asked her for a smaller needle. Her and the cocky nurse were joking around about how if they give her attitude she uses the big needle she wants and then she makes the movement with her hands shoving the needle like this! Basically showing him how she poked. So unprofessional having a conversation in front of another patient. So much more but anyway moral of the story DO NOT GO HERE!!!! It was terrible!!!!! If you're ever in need of a trip to an ER, pay the extra or have someone drive you to the city. This ER is best compared to what you would expect from a 3rd world country on a good day. After having an episode of being dizzy for about an hour I called 911 with paramedics at my door within 3 minutes. On arriving to Sutter Solano I was asked the typical medical history questions and then some tech came to swab my entire arm with alcohol. I asked why the entire arm? Answer: "In case I can't get a vein and need to try in another area." If I can see the vein, I think you can see the vein, not a big deal. Well, after 4 sticks and misses I told him in a not so nice way to get the hell away from me. Next up, Physicians Assistant. No thanks, you're not a doctor, you don't have the training to make a diagnosis, nor can you treat without first speaking with an MD. Doc finally shows up after 1.8 hours and this is a slow night. Glad I wasn't having a heart attack and where was the tech who was supposed to place me on a 12 lead EKG? Doc covered one or two possibilities and then had a RN escort me out the double security door to use a pay phone to get a cab home after determining that I had a case of vertigo. This is the kind of facility that people actually die while waiting to be assessed and treated. I followed up the next day with my primary doc in the city. Looks like the ER missed something. If you love someone, really care about their health, take them to a facility where they won't become a statistic. read more

After leaving the Urgent Care in Fairfield, I was told to come here. I still didn't see a doctor, and I left, still in pain, with pain meds that don't work! It seemed like they're pushing it off on my neurologist to get an MRI done. What if it's important? It was a big waste of time! read more

Registration was nice and fast. After getting passed the waiting room they were Suh-Lowww as Molasses on a cold day! Test for my sons strep came back negative. Still had pain for another 7 days and took him to another Dr. at Mt. Diablo and that test came back positive. I think the dude at Sutter that took the culture didnt do a good job. Heard bad stories about the Sutter staff from my colleagues and I finally got to experience it first hand. First off, the dang nurse giving me report sent a prescription medication to Walgreens and not an antibiotic a patient needed. So the nurse kept insisting with a stuck up attitude. "NOOO listen". Plus she does not know the trade name for the antibiotic I was talking about...smh. Ok Lorna. Why not list the med the patient needs so that our own doctor can write the prescription at our facility then sending a medication to Walgreens which we don't need to do ? Transferred the call to my supervisor and the ER nurse still saying the same thing...Where's the competence ? Sutter ER does keep its bad reputation. Side note I heard stories that the nursing staff are mean to their nursing students. Just saying. read more

Last week (4/28/21), I was having severe abdominal pain for 8 hours which prevented a night of sleep. Finally decided on an Emergency room visit, and a Google search led me to Yelp's Sutter ER. I didn't have time to read reviews, but needed attention ASAP, so noted the address and got a ride. The ER admission required the expected COVID screening, and the standard triage. There was a bit of waiting after check-in. My pain level was 8 (out of 10) and my friend let triage know, which may or may not have gotten me moved along to a room within a reasonable timeline. After speaking with someone, I was given a body scan rather quickly, which led to being immediately admitted to the hospital for what became a 6 day stay. What I can say is I was satisfied with the communication received from my doctors (Dr Taylor and Surgeon Dr Bioslin); they both considered my long term health impact on treatment options we had. I'll add that the staff was so pleasant, helpful & professional (including staff from all three shifts). The attention that those teams gave me actually helped lessen the pain I experienced for the first several days. That sincere caring was very much appreciated. I have a special mention for nurse Tammi (I believe I got that correct) she was the one I spent most time with, and she really helped lift my spirits. The others contributed as well. I needed to go without food for several days to get better. Once I returned to regular diet, it was Caesar who handled my meal planning. He made a persistent effort (via 2 phone calls) to address my finicky dietary quirks, and got my taste buds satisfied. He was pretty amazing. I am now home feeling much better, and can honestly write that i have no hesitation, if needed, to choose Vallejo Sutter's ER or Hospital should the need arise again. read more

I went to Vallejo Sutter Emergency room with my Father who had been injured and a Nurse that goes by the name Tony started acting extremely rude. First of asked if I spoke fluent English, I answered not fluent but some and he made a gesture asking then why was I there. He continued to be rude to us and I asked what was his problem to tone it down and he called security stating "they are Hispanics and are problem starters, they act like trash" just because I asked this nurse Tony what was his problem. I was kicked out of the hospital for no reason at all! This is a Medical facility and should treat all their patients equally regarding the race or even if the staff is having a bad day that's no excuse for them to treat others badly/rude! read more

Praveen is one of the kindest, most genuine, and funniest nurses I have ever met! He is the definition of a fantastic nurse... He came in and checked in on me frequently making sure all my needs were met! i fell off a skateboard and hit my head on the concrete and went to this ER. it was pretty much empty and they took me right in and asked all their questions. the doctor examined me, sent me for a CT scan and gave me some nausea meds to curb any nausea from a concussion. The staff were all super nice and I joked around with them and the doctor was to the point and quick and sent me home with a clean bill of health. i see why this place can have bad reviews but i was in on a lucky very empty night and was in and out in 45 minutes with not complaints. read more

I waited for hours and was seen by a Physicians assistant for 2 minutes. I never saw a doctor and never got any procedures. My bill from the hospital is 1000s of dollars!! And to add insult on top of that I get a separate bill from a doctor who never laid eyes on me!!!!! A PA is supposed to be supervised by a doctor. The doctor should see the patient if supervising. This is robbery! Who can I report this to? read more

Emergency care was great. I was transferred to ICU after my stint at emergency. The nurses at ICU were extremely caring. Nurses Norma and Vilma were very thorough in the discharge of their duties as health workers. Nurse Margie Pacifico instinctively knew how to handle things with the utmost excellence. They are assets to the hospital. Discharge process was fast and efficiently handled. Commendable. read more

I had upper stomach pain when I got here and it was the closest to my house because the pain was unbearable. I have never met a more rude staff nurse in the ER. She is an older filipina lady I'd say in her mid 50's-60's, with somewhat dark skin tone with glasses, and I believe her name is Lorna. She could speak fluent tagalog and has an accent. Whoever sees her will know who I am talking about. When I spoke to her about my symptoms and my personal information there was a screen barrier for covid and we were both wearing masks, and I obviously couldn't hear her very well because there's a barrier blocking us. She kept raising her voice at me whenever I asked if she could repeat what she said and she wasn't friendly at all. It just seemed like she's only there for her paycheck and dosent truly have a passion for being a nurse and helping those in need. As patients, we're supposed to trust and feel comfortable with these nurses, not feel anymore terrible. I'm surprised the hospital allows this nurse to keep her rude behavior. She should be fired for being rude to the ER patients. read more

Strict rules due to the COV-19 of only having 1 family member at a time is understandable, but depending on a patient's circumstances (ie: patient has limited time to live) I'm sure you could make an exception for 1 more family member, but it seems that your security guards think they're five-0 (which they're not) & have no compassionate for people. My review is simply for the fact that the RN John (light skinned one that works day shift in the ER) could have taken the time to remove all the heart monitor stickers that was still left on my dad's chest & changed my dad's wet patient gown/diaper before you transported my dad in the ambulance to our home for hospice care. I mean you have patients/family waiting and waiting for hours in the ER, that is the least you can do. DO YOUR JOB completely and not half-way job. You're getting paid big money and have no excuse. Although my dad had limited time to live, he is still human & should be treated the way you'd want to be treated if you needed to be cared for in a hospital. There are 2 RN's name John who work in your ER. The John who works the night time/graveyard shift was really great in caring for my dad, changing him many times when he needed to be changed & deserves a 5 star for having a genuine caring heart for patients especially my dad who was an elderly patient. The other RN John (he's more lighter skin & a little taller than the graveyard RN John) who came on duty & relieved the graveyard RN John could've been great also had he removed all the heart monitor stickers on my dad's chest & changed my dad's gown/diaper like he was suppose to do. All that time, I was w/my dad in the ER, the 2nd John seemed so caring. As soon as a family member leaves their relative like myself whether it be your dad, mom, daughter, whoever, be prepared for your loved one to be treated differently. Trust no one w/your loved one. They're are probably some good caring physicians, RN's, CNA's, transporters, out there, but it's really unfortunate that they're are also one's out there that only put on a show when a family member is in the room and then when the patient is left alone, who knows what kind of abuse or treatment is being done. All I know is that my dad had a lot of red fresh bruises on his arms and they overdosed my dad w/antibiotics on one of his arm. PAY ATTENTION, this happens EVERYDAY behind close doors. WHAT ELSE IS NEW? KARMA will get you with your loved ones and the way you treat patients. Stay home, you'll DIE if you go to any ER hospital with the amount of time it takes for any doctor to see you. Then when you finally go from the ER waiting room to a ER bed it's waiting again for hours wasting time just waiting. Last, waiting to get into a room another hours of & waiting & then finally to get discharged (more WAIT, WAIT, WAIT). All this waiting so the hospital can get big money paid from the patients medical insurance. FOR WHAT, making patients wait? YOU'LL DIE of pain, misery, waiting, COV-19, etc. JUST stay home and pray! read more

when i needed medical help with a migrane that lasted over 7 days and was making me sick i thought my visit was a dream come true! i signed a paper and showed them my medical insurance card they said they accepted and was in and out in less than an hour and never had a bed or anything just an IV with a few things to make the pain go away and a prescription i picked up at walgreens that next day which was super cheap. WELL weeks later i got a bill for $1,000+ (that did not include the doctors fee which he didnt charge me anything because i NEVER made it passed the inside waiting area because it was going to take 15 minutes to do the whole thing!) AND THEY DID NOT ACCEPT MY INSURANCE EVEN THOUGH THE MAN UP FRONT SAID THEY DID! So i tried to figure it out but there was NOTHING showing why it was so high! and they still wont give me any reason MONTHS later! read more
