The Pharmacy is very efficient. I don't know how they do it, The long lines move quickly and the people helping are deeply caring even in the midst of some crazy patients. Hats off to this pharmacy. read more

I came because I was very sick,Absolutely a saddest excuse for an ER. The staff (receptionist, specially )is extremely rude, they talk to people like they are animals not human. RN's are also very rude and they act like they're doing your favor by talking to you when they don't understand that we are the ones paying for the services, it's not free. What I experienced was the worst treatment of my life. Even more sad is how the government allow these types of facilities and negative treatment of people be ok. I pay $1800 for Kaiser insurance for me and my family and this is the second time I used it in 9 months. I will be looking for alternative options after this. I am tried of being treated like this. Save yourself the trouble and look for another option. read more

Literally the worst emergency ever. My sister had a big gash on her forehead and it was bleeding a lot. We waited for 30 MINS. And there was an older person in a wheelchair that fractured his skull and he's been waiting for 45 mins. I just don't understand this system. For all I care if it's a bad injury the person should just be taken in right away. read more

Never in my life had to go to emergency room I really try to avoid it until last night with my 4 year old. He ended up having croup so he basically couldn't breathe and I freaked out. Long story short 3 hour visit about from start to finish. RNs were attentive and Dr was calm and thorough. Be prepared to wait with lots of other people and as other reviewers mentioned you'll move from room to room and basically like a pack of sardines side to side with other people. Expect that and block it out. It's chaos and busy in an emergency department. Was better than I thought it was gonna be. read more

In my opinion, it is the worst emergency room in town--perhaps even in the state--where the staff seem to lack the knowledge, professionalism, and efficiency required for proper patient care. During my second visit--once in January and again in February--I was forced to wait outside in the cold. On both occasions, I waited two hours before being called in for a blood pressure check, only to be sent back out and made to wait an additional two hours. Every time I approached the receptionist, she appeared completely unaware of what was happening behind the scenes, and it was evident that they had no effective system for tracking patients. After a total wait time of four hours, I had no choice but to drive to the Modesto ER to see a doctor. Based on my experience, I believe this facility should be shut down altogether. read more

Worst hospital ever!!! Just gross and super dirty. They don't clean off or sanitize anything! Literally got sent into a room with used sheets and blood all over toilet seat from person that was in it before me. Nurses literally come into their shift not knowing anything and has to ask you what you are there for every time a new nurse is on the shift. Nurses are rude on top of that. This is ridiculous will never ever come back here. You can call doctor on remote but no one will ever come to you anyways. Hate this hospital and the people working in it. read more

So I came in here reluctantly but things are actually pretty good. Dr. Alexander was thorough and I never felt like he didn't care. LVN Crystal was the best! Usually people stab me a dozen times in each arm before they call for help finding a vein, yet Crystal tried something that I had never seen before (hot packs) and it worked the first time. She also called over Michael because I asked about him and before I knew it, she filled up 7 containers for blood. Did I mention Michael was like... IG model, giving The Rock a run for his money fine? Anyway, where was I? Okay, they treated me with compassion, professionalism and were very attentive. IDK what these other reviewers are barking about because this place is great.... Well, the staff is great; however, the building needs a remodel. P.S. I was hungry and the cafeteria was closed, so Crystal got me some cranberry juice and graham crackers. How thoughtful. read more

Unfortunately, 0 star for this Kaiser ED location. Went to ED with my Son for abdominal pain at 4pm and still waiting for more than 5 hours to get the CT scan done. This ED was so disorganized and does not have a very smooth process. From check-in to MD consult. They have to bring you to different lobby, locations and rooms. A separate waiting area for blood draw, for ultrasound, then to a lobby to wait to be called and then ED to see the Nurse and then CT scan and then MD. This location needs to improve. My Son's EDNurse was not even helpful. Up to this time, we are still waiting. Worse ED experience ever!!! read more

On 07/02/25 I took my aunt into the ER because she had very bad pain in her shoulder, both hands, and also her lower abdomen. We explain everything to the kind Nurse.. I do not recall his name.. but he asked what type of pain she's having and took down notes. We were sent back to the waiting area and when we got called in we waited for Dr. Gill to come in. She approached us really rudely first of all, she didn't even log into her system to see the notes the nurse had typed up for her, and started taking notes on a piece of napkin. She had asked my aunt what her visit was for and as we were explaining she said she can only care of one of the pains and asked which one was hurting her more. I told her that I wish the nurse would have let us know before writing all those notes down and all those questions. She continued to be aggressive with my aunt and I. When she asked my aunt where it hurts most, my aunts said her shoulder and she aggressively grabbed her shoulder and made her cry. No sympathy from her, no apology she just continued to do what she was doing. As she was taking my aunts vitals my aunts arm was hurting and she was stiff and Dr. Gill snapped at her saying "relax" and shaking her arm aggressively KNOWING that's the arm that has a lot of pain. She told my aunt that they don't have time to run tests if it's not a serious pain and had to basically beg for the tests to be done. I understand it's the ER and you have so much to do, but at least be kind to your patients. You already know what you're getting yourself into when you get into the medical field, please don't look at your patients like they're stupid when they're trying to explain their pain to you. On top of all the tests that we had to beg to be done, she comes up to us and has an "I told you so" attitude and said that everything was fine and just walked away. She took over 30 minutes to give my aunt her discharge papers. I'm so so glad I'm not a Kaiser member and will not have to deal with people like her. I've gone to the ER a few times for myself and my family at the sitter hospital in Tracy but have never met anyone as rude and aggressive as Dr. Gill. Wish Kaiser would do a check on their drs. read more

I was hoping to write a scathing review of this place, but guess what? I won't be the first one to do it. The ER is a real mess - it's old, crowded, and full of patients who are desperate for help. I've been here for over six hours now, and I've seen more than half a dozen patients leave. They'd rather go home than wait any longer. I had a surgical procedure. Was asked to go the waiting to a wait for IV meds since rooms were unavailable. 5 hours later still no rooms. Everyone means well. They simply work in a broken Kaiser system in Manteca. The city has grown too fast and Kaiser has failed to scale with the growing community. I was the South Sacramento Kaiser a few days ago and honestly there's no comparison. If you want to die faster come here. You'd be better off going to another Kaiser, even if it's further away than risking your life here. Kaiser is failing its members in this region. read more

came here ı have been waiting for 2 and half hours for to see a doctor at the emergency i think it should be called something else ridiculous go somewhere else don't waist your time better just die home rather then come here read more

If the rooms are busy they will help you in the hallway. They line up chairs and they draw blood, put IVs and talk to you about your personal business while being shoulder to shoulder to other sick patients. The most uncomfortable experience, am not sure if this is even safe. At some point one of the male nurses had his butt in my face bending over to help the sick old lady across from me. This is so wrong!! The lobby area where you wait is very small and all chairs were occupied so I had to wait by the main entrance in the way of patients coming in to register. This place needs an upgrade, more rooms, more personal am not sure but helping patients in the hall way can't be right. read more

I went to ER tonight due to my boyfriend getting into a car accident they had him on a waiting list after I checked in I waited almost 2 hours then to find out that some how I was taken off the waiting list and they didn't have no answer to why that happened it's ridiculous and such a waste of time. And they didn't do anything to speed up the process to see him. It's unfortunate how unprofessional this visit was. read more

So let me start off by saying that Kaiser should do a better job with staffing-finding quality people to work for Kaiser including ER doctors, second- let's talk about the quality of care- pretty bad to be honest. Doctors don't really care they want to get rid of you and send you off to your doctor and they refuse to give you treatment, experience- I was told to go to a non-Kaiser facility and get care there by a charge nurse by the name of Katie. The doctor refused to send an urgent message to my primary care doctor, and refused to help. Completely left me in the dark and even threatened me. I will not be returning to this ER ever. Completely unprofessional and unethical. read more

Everything! I rather die on the side of the road than go to Kaiser Manteca ER again. You're shuffled around like cattle from spot to spot and sit in the hallways for hours on end, if you're in pain good luck on anyone tending to you. I had a CT scan and was told everything was just fine, only to pass a kidney stone 4 days later. Never again. read more

My doctor is pretty cool, he does his best to help me, but of course you have to wait about two weeks before you can see your doctor because they're like a theme park there over selling tickets, and let's not mention my monthly cost will probably hit over $1000 just for me after the first of the year and that is absolutely ridiculous healthcare should not cost that much and anytime I need to see the doctor fast I have to go to emergency just to get in the same day and that cost me another $175. The healthcare system has gotten out of control in California. I can't speak for anywhere else. read more

Writing this review on behalf of my spouse. Avoid Kaiser; as it has lost its former high standard of care. This review pertains to the medical center building and specifically Dr. Vu--steer clear of him as your PCP. He's unethical, letting his biased views influence patient care. The medical assistants working for Dr. Vu aren't any better. Will linger around and gossip about patients. The quality of care at Kaiser for MediCal patients is terrible; expect constant runarounds and retracting statements when you report them. Zero stars. read more

Zero stars if I can give it.. Usually we get good service not sure if they had to hire people from the getto to work . Started out by bringing my wife here for high blood pressure. The lady getting our information started out good and ended up in a rude messed up way. I was told I could not be in the room to help with translation and that a translator will be provided but next patient 2 feet away was ok to have a translator with the patient . I asked what the difference was and was told the patient could not speak English and my wife spoke a little. I said there still not difference since you don't allow others in with patience. Asked for a supervisor and Colby comes out at me with attitude and with intimidation which I could give a rats ass. He made sure his word was law. I still waiting outside the area and was told to leave. Then was close to the entrance and security was called to get me off the area. I was told it was hospital policy to stay away from the area. I politely asked to see the policy and it was not written anywhere that I could not be outside . All in all I'll be calling the hospital director for the incident on December 12th circa 5:55pm-6:30pm read more

I dont really like to go to small emergency clinics, because I feel I am not going to have the care I needed. How wrong was I, I started having pain and my husband took me to Manteca which is the closes to where we live. ER doctors were so helpful, they took me in and did all the necessary tests to find what was wrong with me. My husband couldn't walk in with my and is understandable with everything thats going on with COVID-19 they want to take their precautions. I end up having g surgery, but I just want to thank the nurses, doctors and hospital staff that worked with me, thank you so much for all the care and patience I received. This is the worst health care experience I've ever had. I can not believe this is a private insurance ER & that I actually paid to be treated so poorly. I was carried in because I could not walk, was given a wheelchair & left to deal w/unimaginable pain for 5 hours before I left & went to another ER in Stockton. I BEGGED the admitting nurse to help me w/the pain, I was told to wait. I said I couldn't because I felt like I had something ripping inside me. They did not care & told me it'd be a few MORE hours!?! WTH? How is that even humane? Never in my life have I ever felt so helpless. At the 2nd ER, again carried in, I was immediately admitted & treated like an actual human. They did their actual job, ran test to find out what was wrong & gave me pain meds to help manage until they knew the diagnosis. I had kidney stones moving in both ureters w/a blockage in 1. I have absolutely no idea how the Manteca Kaiser ER has been allowed to stay open. If you have an emergency go ANYWHERE except there. Heck you might as well go home because you won't be getting help from that place. If you have a mortal enemy then find happiness if you ever find out they had to go to this chop shop ER. read more

Got here at about 6:30pm. I was checked in quickly but waited about 30 minutes to be called in. The RN and dr who initially helped me were thorough, I felt listened to and that I was gonna get treated well. They said not to eat or drink anything during my visit. Then they asked for a blood and urine sample. The blood sample was taken normally. However, the nurse who asked me to take the urine sample wanted me to do it in a room with no toilet or sink! I refused to do so and asked for a restroom. After being told the action plan I waited outside for about 6 hours until being called in. During that time my test results came back quickly but the dr did not come out to let me know what was going on. I was called inside at about 12:30am, put in a room, and was asked to undress. I was so confused and didn't know what was going on, the dr hadn't even gone over the results with me. Then a nurse tried to hook up an iv and started to connect me to various equipment. I was so freaked out by the experience that my blood pressure shot through the roof. I ended up opting out of care and left the ER worse than I showed up and $50 poorer after the copay. read more

I unfortunately had to visit this ER yesterday and let me just say Dr Johnson is literally the WORST. Absolutely no bedside manner, she threatened to not treat me because I was visibly in pain and vomiting and could not respond to her thousand questions the way she wanted. I'm pretty sure some patients come in there unable to advocate for themselves but that is not me. She kept asking me the same questions over and over in a condescending manner. Go learn some bedside manner because that was PISS POOR service. I was also refused a bed they tried to treat me from a wheelchair. I understand one may not have been available at the time but to refuse me because you feel I don't need one? Is pathetic. I wouldn't let Dr Johnson bag my groceries. read more

The staff were very friendly and fast considering how busy it was. Dr. Philip Hong who attended to my daughter was phenomenal. So kind, fast, comforting and not condescending at all! The nurses were also very attentive and kind. It was a surprisingly quick ER visit. We showed up at 5:40pm and left there at 7:00pm. Thank you Manteca Kaiser. I wouldn't even give this hospital one star. The staff is rude and inconsiderate, they made me feel like they didn't care about me as a patient and barely spent five minutes with me during the visit. I didn't know these people, it was my first time here. DO NOT COME HERE! I brought my husband here for burns. We regretted coming here immediately after walking in. The customer service and lack of professionalism at the front desk was unbelievable. First we were standing while two of the front receptionist were joking and laughing around. As soon as she turned to us to ask us questions, her demeanor changed and she was so rude/irritated. If i asked any questions she responded back rudely and kept saying "this is the ER". Why is this place even called an Emergency Room when you have employees that lack professionalism, empathy, care and training. They look at you like you are dumb when you ask questions. We will be changing our insurance. Kaiser Manteca is horrible. Do not come here if you are looking to be taken care of. Go somehow else. I forgot how compassionate the medical staff is at Kaiser Manteca. I went to the ER with severe stomach pain and was triaged, met with a doctor, given appropriate pain meds right away, had blood tests, xray, ekg, ultrasound and results all within 3 hours. It was amazing. Every medical professional I met with were so kind and compassionate.
