At long last I decided to order a platter for a family dinner. The platter presentation was nice with plenty of rolls (7 I believe). It's a good value for the quality and quantity. Every roll was fresh and delicious. The Lemon Cilantro roll was the family favorite. We did not dine in...yet. But when I picked up the platter, the restaurant did look very nice. Big patio dining area and just a chill vibe inside. The front of house employees were friendly and very helpful. My transaction was quick and easy. Overall, a great spot for sushi in the Chula Vista area. We are definitely coming back. Especially for the happy hour offerings.

There was however, a large table of about 8 people in the center of the room that were quite noisy. Downstairs definitely had a more 'hustle bustle' atmosphere with large booths and a long sushi bar. (There is also some outdoor 'Covid' style seating). We ordered sake, a couple of sushi rolls and negiri. They were kind enough to supply a complimentary birthday ice-cream dessert with a candle. Service was very attentive and as we passed the sushi bar on the way out, staff behind the bar waived goodbye. Parking: We were able to park near First and Laurel streets for free on a Saturday afternoon. A very classy sushi place. I definitely recommend a visit for a special occasion or perhaps if visiting nearby Balboa Park or the Old Globe Theater. Helpful?

My main issue is that the fish was warm, not cold as the cooked to order. I just hope that hubs and I don't get sick. For this reason, I can't recommend and will not be back.
