Amazing food south of the border. Sushi that is so fresh it probably came out of the ocean that morning. Additionally, the owner Rafael is so kind and the atmosphere is lovely. They have American prices, but the quality is so good, it's worth it.

Oyadaka was fantastic for a quick date night in Tijuana. We stopped by around 730pm, and there were quite a bit of people inside. We lucked out as I think we caught the end of the dinner crowd so our service was fast. I ordered the Teriyaki combo, and a tamarind mojito. My girlfriend ordered California rolls. My plate was good! I'm not big on sushi but I did manage to taste one of the rolls. It was good. A big piece of sushi. They don't cheap out on the portions here. It is a bit pricey, but had I ordered this in the US, I'm sure I would've paid an extra $25. I visited this location on 09/03/2023. It's very easy to get there via Uber, and the surrounding areas have tons of food options. I will definitely go again!

Service, food, and ambiance were good. Recommendations made by server were great. Rolls are huge btw, we made the mistake of ordering 3. Appetizers were tasty. The specialty cocktails were so good, that my mom ordered one and she does not drink . Prices are a bit high.

Best sushi in Tijuana by far, and maybe the best south of Los Angeles. Odayaka is located next to Villa Saverios and Origen Argentino, and across the street from Prime Grill. I believe they have another location in La Paz, Mexico at the Costa Baja Resort (which is awesome). I visited it a few years ago and loved it as well. Reservations are not accepted and the place gets packed. Expect a 30-40 min wait on a weekend night. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and smoking is allowed in the outdoor area, so keep that in mind. Tables are socially distanced, so your party will be comfortable. Odayaka offers an extensive cocktail menu. I tried both tequila and mezcal cocktails and enjoyed both. For appetizer, I suggest the fried octopus (chicharrón). As for sushi, they offer sashimi, nigiri, and a ton of different rolls. I counted at least 30 unique rolls on the menu. You can't really go wrong with any of them. This was the freshest sushi I've had in a very long time. The rolls are massive too. While a bit on the pricier side ($12-$15 per roll) it is definitely worth it. Next time I'm craving sushi I will head to Odayaka.

Fresh and the right flavor. Sushi Place has valet Parking so really easy to get there. Also staff super friendly and clean bathrooms. My drink was pineapple with tequila, perfect fit for this dish.

I've been coming here for about 2 years now. There isn't a a sushi place for me that comes close to hear since I have found ODAYAKA! Menu is available in Spanish and English. The rosarito rolls are my personal favorite. Any specialty roll you get will be worth it. Don't pass on ODAYAKA.

First time going here! I have family in tijuana and I go very often. I told my family I was craving some sushi and they said to go here because it has really good sushi. So I decided to give it a try! As soon as I got there I was able to see how clean the property was! And how friendly the staff was. We got sat right away. There are so many options in the menu! But I was kinda in a hurry so I couldn't really order a lot of things! For drinks I ordered a regular classic ice tea! It was good! I don't like adding sugar and it was perfect! I asked for a Glass if ice (never came) but it's okay! It happens!!! For appetizer I order the chicharrón de pulpo! It was phenomenal! Super tasty!! I have never tried it before. I loved it! And the portion was pretty big. I ordered the tijuana roll!! Which had spicy crab cucumber and creme cheese! On top of salmon! We also ordered the odayaka roll and the San Ignacio roll. All of them were delicious! I'll come back pretty soon!!!!

Will definitely be coming back. We were on our way home to California and stopped here for sushi. The food was not only fresh and so flavorful but the portions are pretty generous !

Have your hotel do it or call them. It is owned by CDMZ I think, it reminds me of one. The moment you walk in you are made to feel comfortable and happy. It is quite beautiful. The service is true fin dinning service. You will want for nothing. The entire staff is great. Dressy, but business casual is just fine. Go in a armless tee and cargo shorts and you will be out of place. They have an amazing selection of food. They have sushi, empanadas, steaks, tacos and all sorts of small plates. We get a bunch and share. Their sushi is so fresh and their steak is cooked to perfection. They even have some great soups now and again. There is something for everyone here. Parking is valet for a fee. It is a wonder, it really is.

The moment you walk in, there are multiple servers greeting you and escorting you to your table. You know right away that it's going to be a memorable evening. I actually did not know that there was Japanese fare here too, and I tried to concentrate on the local Mexico dishes. I am not a big eater so in order to taste a variety I tried to choose appetizers and small bites. The evening began with complimentary salsas, three of them, with chips. What is unique is that their chips are long rectangular strips of different composition. The salsas were fresh. I liked the green one the best and once I had finished these, they brought another batch of chips, but these had a mild but satisfying cheese taste. Both of the chip varieties were spectacular. My first choice for food, was the almond crusted green beans that are drizzled with sweet and sour sauce. This clearly had a Japanese tint to it. It is a large potion I only finished half of it. My only comment on this dish is that I couldn't taste the almonds. It looked more like it was a tempura type fry. The sweet and sour sauce dominated the dish. My second selection, was the popular (according to my server), the Taco Richi (ribbeye, cheese crust, pork cracklings, and avocado). Comes as one piece. This was superb. Finally, more Tacos, the Beef Steak Gaonera (Hand-made tortillas, guacamole and pico de gallo). Comes as two pieces. This too was equally good. I also succumbed and ordered a side order of french fries too. At the end, they surprised me with a complimentary dessert. A small potion of their cheesecake, which had four caramelized macadamia nuts on top. It was different. Overall, it was a dining experience that was unmatched and one that can give LA restaurants, serious competition. I had at least five different servers taking care of me right through the night. Needless to say, the service was outstanding.

Service was quick, and they checked in often to take additional orders. I'd recommend ordering any baked or fried rolls early in the meal since those seemed to take the longest to come out. My favorite item was the special of the day: spicy garlic tuna carpaccio, served thinly sliced with crunchy garlic oil on top. The kids really enjoyed the udon, edamame, and California rolls, and there are plenty of options for picky eaters. Price-wise, I'd say it's in line with other sushi spots. Our total came to $230 for the five of us (three adults and two kids), which worked out to about $46 per person including drinks. If you come hungry and ready to make the most of the AYCE option, it's worth it. If you're a lighter eater or only stick to one or two types of sushi, they also have a regular menu with individually priced items.

I was a bit hesitant to try this place because I love chinese food and lately its just been hit or miss. Also, sushi/chinese can sometimes be not what you expect. ANYWAY, let me go back to my experience with Ayumi. Small cozy restaurant that has about 8-10 tables. Its apparent they do a lot of take out. It's in a small plaza but there is plenty of parking. You're greeted warmly when going inside, and there's an A-Frame in the front that tells you the daily special. The pictures here on yelp and google helped a lot in making my food decisions. I love my orange chicken not too much breading, and an even sauce to nugget ratio. Some of the other chinese restaurants in the immediate area are wayyyy too saucy or too breaded. I chose the Sweet & Pungent chicken, bc that sounded good ... boy it did not disappoint. It came out on a bed of crispy noodles and steamed broccoli. The pieces were evenly sauced and sticky the way I love it ... so I can only imagine the orange chicken, sweet and sour, and whatever else is fried will be decent. Definitely coming back just for this. My bf had the kung pao trio, and it was probably the most decent I've had in a while. The prices are reasonable for the area for the sushi, the chinese food, and even the beverages (some places be gouging for beer), and I'm going to be trying this place out for the lunch specials which is always a good combo of entree, appetizer, and drink. 5 stars for the chinese food, Can't wait to try the sushi next time.

The dining room is moderate sized, about 6-8 tables, plus a bar with 3-4 seats at the counter, so you may still have to wait a little bit if they are super busy, but we got there before the rush and got right in. The menu is very diverse, but don't let it scare you, they do both Chinese food and Sushi with some asian fusion dishes as well. We stuck with the sushi but I definitely want to come back and try the Chinese food. The sushi was legit, quality and fresh ingredients and great flavor combos. We had 3 orders of rolls, a sake, and I had a glass of chardonnay. The wine is VERY reasonable here, $5.99 a glass! Those are happy hour prices ALL day long.. It's not a fancy glass of chard, but it paired perfectly with the sushi. Service was good, fast at first, slowed down a bit when they got busy but we never had to wait too long! The rolls were delicious, we had the Las Vegas roll, which was crunchy fried deliciousness, the jalapeño was on the top so if you wanted it less spicy you just took it off. I didn't think it was too spicy even with the topping. We also had the citrus and gold dust roll. The citrus roll was definitely zesty and spicy, for those who like spice! The gold dust roll was PERFECT, it was my favorite. It had a little crunch inside of it and it wasn't too spicy. Definitely will be reordering that one. All in all 5 stars here for the price, very affordable and delicious sushi!
