I'm not a sushi kind of gal! Came to celebrate my sisters birthday and she raves about this spot so do her friends! The service was exceptional I must say they were attentive and friendly! I just ordered chicken teriyaki bento box and the others got the all you can eat deal $39.99 which they said was a great price! Not one complaint from our table. It was pretty chill for Monday, it wasn't packed it wasn't empty either! Great place to go and hang out if you're into sushi! read more

Meh - I walked in to get a C-roll to go after my eye appointment. I slight fishy smell hit me when I opened the door. Not bad, but...still. The guy sitting at the hostess station was so chill and barely looked away for his computer screen, I honestly thought he was gaming - made me laugh. The C-roll is pedestrian in the sushi world I know, but I was tired and wanted a quick snack for later. No fresh wasabi in the order, only packaged wasabi. Not sure if that is true for a sit down meal, but come on - fresh wasabi is WAY cheaper than packaged IMO. Bottom line, I had one item that was ok, so this review is based on that food wise, but the overall experience and first impression for me was lacking in exuberance especially when the front 'desk' person cannot be bothered to get up from their chair or avert their eyes from the computer screen before and after my order was placed. It was just so awkward. Oh and the food gave me a rumbly tummy. I cannot recommend, but again, I only had one item, but is was a basic staple and it was not that good for $9 read more

We were disappointed, we wanted to eat more, but they sabotaged us!! Read on.... Food-ayce- decent, tasty and worth the price. Service- sure. They're really nice. But service is just for the delivery of food to your table. Don't expect too much. Also, they work with QR codes. So you're on your own. Like when we went and spent 45 minutes waiting for our order, only to realize it never went through, and there was no notice on our end to correct. Not until our server left, did we realize it's an issue. And by the time we got our subsequent orders, we had spent nearly an hour getting full off of appetizers and beer. Not complaining about the beer, complaining about the service. Plus! When it comes time to go...no QR code! You have to wait even longer. Will we be back. Yes. Will we come hungry. No, cus you'll get hungry jut waiting. read more

I came for the AYCE but I was disappointed that the sashimi, and noodles were excluded. A suggestion is having it available but limiting the amount of orders that one can make. I did like the amount of rolls that were available and how creative they were. It's not just the typical "California roll" or crab meat in 70% of the rolls (cheapest protein for sushi), that you see at most spots. Server was pretty chill and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave some good recommendations and I went with the Sashimi "medium" order and two super bomb rolls (West Covina and the Dookie roll). read more

I advised the female employee that I was there to pick up my order. After confirming my name, the employee said it would be a few more minutes while my orange roll was being made--no problem, I stated. I noticed a white, plastic-sealed bag containing six to seven rolls in plastic containers, sitting on the counter, ready for pickup. I asked the employee if that was my order. She checked the name on the receipt and advised that it was not my order. Ok, no problem, I stated. I waited, and waited, and waited some more. Fifteen to twenty minutes went by, and still, no sushi. The lone female employee was taking phone orders and handed two customers who had also been waiting for their orders. I glanced at the receipt attached to the bag that was resting on the counter, ready for pick up Unless someone else ordered the exact rolls I had ordered (4 CA rolls, one crunch roll, and one orange roll), this WAS my order. I asked the employee to please double-check my order, as I believed this order, which had been sitting on the counter the entire time, was, in fact, mine. I had a really disappointing experience here. The plates we were given were visibly dirty, which was already a bad start. On top of that, the iced tea tasted off almost like it had been sitting out too long. The biggest issue, though, was the wait time. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, and we only ordered two rolls. What made it even more frustrating was that people who were seated after us were getting their food before us. When we asked our waiter how much longer it would be, he went to check with the chef. From where we were sitting, we could see the chef shake his head, like the order hadn't even been started yet. So I know places are struggling and some areas get more crowds than others but I was craving sushi and my regular place was closed so I decided to get some close to home. they got the order done quickly which is ok but I can usually wait for a quality roll. I'll give them credit there california rolls are good, not too much mayo or crab but that was about it for me, I had purchased four roles and only eaten two. Their spicy tuna could use some work, I don't suggest the sushi that has mushrooms in it, flavor is really off, and calamari needs more flavor. Their not bad but I won't be coming back. read more

I've been coming to Sushiholic in West Covina for a while now, and it's still just as good as the first time if not better. The sushi is always fresh, the rolls are flavorful, and the portions are generous. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and I really appreciate how quick and attentive the service is. The fish is so ridiculously fresh and the rolls are so good. The sushi chefs are even nice enough to customize rolls for me since I'm so picky. I highly recommend the Spicy Rainbow Roll, No Way Jose Roll, Sushiholics Signature Roll, and the Victoria Secret Roll.
