Newly opened, "All You Can Eat" Sushi restaurant. Tried it for the first time today at lunchtime, it was very good! The area needed a place like this. Clean, spacious, well decorated (nice ambiance) inside. Nice variety of options for appetizers, side dishes, main course, single sushi and sushi Service was excellent also.

Salmon Sushi

Sushi quality is pretty decent especially for the area. But the rice to fish ratio is very high especially with the Nigiri pieces. Each roll is mainly rice which makes it hard to enjoy and try different rolls. Our server mentioned that if we failed to finish all of the rice we would be charged, which is understandable if it's a normal amount but this was insane. The service is great, pretty friendly, and overall wants the best experience for the customers. Vibes are good inside as well.

Where do I begin! Just walking into this place was great, it was dim, warm lighting with comfortable seating and you are able to see the workers make sushi right in front of you at the bar! My server was very attentive and patient to all of my food requests and gave me a fantastic sushi roll recommendation. Not to mention their crab rangoons were the best I've ever had, I will definitely be coming back just for those! Overall it was a beautiful and delicious experience. I definitely recommend!

We came for the food and have always stayed for the service first and foremost and ambiance of course. Lovers always makes us feel taken care of and we were so excited to be back after a 4 year hiatus

While in the area and on the hunt for Sushi today, I came across Lover's Sushi & Hibachi and…read morestopped in for lunch. Walking in it was fairly dimly lit and silent as I was to be the only diner. The staff was very friendly and got me seated with a menu at the sushi bar immediately. The menu was fairly baseline with a few signature specialty dishes but all consisting of the same ingredients. I order a Hot tea, the Sashimi lunch special which came with a Miso Soup & side of Rice as well as the Treasure Island appetizer to sample some of their more unique dishes. The Miso Soup was both warm and flavorful. The Treasure Island app was an interesting blend of sweet savory and fat flavors with fresh Mango, Avocado, Tobiko, Ponzu and diced fish's but it was unfortunately all just overtaken by the heavy Mayo and tempura flakes. The Sashimi lunch was presented fairly but the quality of the fish was sub par to say. All of the previous frozen variety and using Izumidai "tilapia" in place of Red Snapper. Overall it certainly was not the greatest Sushi dining experience for me personally and I would pass on the next opportunity to visit. That being said there seems to be very limited Sushi dining opinion this area and it was fairly reasonably priced 2 course lunch. 3.9/10 Very friendly staff, lower quality ingredients.

My first time in Elmira, I was there for an appointment. BF and I were hungry after appointment,…read moreand decided to use Yelp to find a Chinese buffet. There were sit down restaurants, that had much higher stars and better reviews. But we prefer buffets, so we can have a little of everything. Something we very much missed during Covid. So even it had lower stars, we decided to give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very big, decorated nicely, and clean. The staff were super friendly. Some people came in and the staff knew their names. We felt like we were apart of the neighborhood. The food was basic Chinese food. I love Chinese chicken wings and I think Buffets are the most economical way of having them. Their chicken wings were delicious. I also loved the Honey chicken, had a couple pieces of sushi, the you peel shrimp was delish! There were some items that I didn't like. Their egg rolls, nope not for me. The mussels were ok. I did notice that they had chicken nuggets, jello, pudding, Ice cream, etc...non- Chinese items, probably for the kids.I thought that was very thoughtful. Price was very reasonable! 2 people 30.00. + we tipped 6.00. I enjoyed it very much. I did find it odd that not all food was labeled. But if not looked tasty, I tried it. lol but seriously, it would be nice to have all the labels updated properly. I can see why there are regulars. Once you figure out what you like, you can just slide in and load up. Not perfect, but nice experience. If I had to go back to Elmira, I would eat there again. Give it a go. I think it deserves higher stars. We all know when we eat buffets, foods are going to be hit or miss. I just focused I what I did like. I'd also like to add, that I loved that they had fresh fruit and veggie dishes.
